I expected some poor standards and responses, as I was engaging for the first time with Prepaid24. I chose to buy two small amounts of prepaid electricity as some sort of test, and well after hours. But what a revelation as my queries on both occasions were handled with such speed and professionalism by a Tarryn and Cecilé that I am still amazed! Please continue to turn others' opinions and perceptions around that we can still enjoy good old SA high levels of standards!
If ever a business needs to be red- carded!! Had myself to blame...was convinced to change to their so-called price lock in Dec. What a disaster ever since; been trying since 2nd Jan to have PVR functionality back, every time just told it must be escalated... maybe to heaven! Been dealing with one after the other *********** consultants, waiting periods for ",just hold on, please" of up to 36 minutes, just to hear again: 'Sorry, have to escalate'... awaiting for resulotion since 2Jan. How can I get rid of Multi Choice????? No feedback unless you call...if there's a score below 0, I'll definitely rate them as such!
Beyond pathetic in dealing with calls... waiting periods of more than 50 minutes each on 3 calls; any score below 0 wiil do!!!
What a struggle to get hold of them, should you wish to change/upgrade/downgrade or cancel a subscription!!! Never thought any could be worse than Telkom Helkom...Beyond pathetic, on line for several periods of 20, 32, 25 minutes - just to listen to the automated response, and you can't even leave a message, as mailbox is continuously full.

How low can Telkom still go? How much more pathetic could their service and response become? If a score below 0 is possible, wow, I'd gladly give, since I struggle to get just a proper response from any capable or professional team member. All I got from several consultants is: Sorry about it, or My apologies, but I can only escalate your issue. My connection and service on 3 mobile no's have been inexplicably canceled or terminated, no reason, no response for second consecutive day
Consultants at local branch very efficiently sorted out two issues I had, notwithstanding fact that one query relates to credit card section. The quick response and attentiveness of one particular person resulted in some savings on bank charges, possible fraudulent exposure. When I enquired at Premier consultant, very lame excuse for bad communication from their side.
After my phone got stolen (a dual-sim one, with another cell-provider), I tried to get sim swap, first in-store and then via call center. What a bunch of unprofessional consultants you have to deal with!! Maybe part of the reason why CellC, where I was a customer for more then 14 years, is rated as below standard and in trouble??? "Sir, you cannot do a sim swap if you cannot give us the last 5 no's dialed..." "Sir, we need the 3 most frequent numbers dialed..." "Sir, we need to know what the last amount loaded for data was..." How ridiculous! I am very active on calls, have 2 sim cards, do numerous calls per day, and on top of that, I am at an age where I am unable to remember such trivial, senseless detail, regardless of whether I produced my ID, proof of residence, whatever security details they could obtain, except the nonsensical ones they prefer! Being subject to such an ordeal of a burglary where I could have lost my life, losing valuables to the amount of R35 000, and have to deal with such insensitivity??? Regardless of a balance of more than R200 in airtime, more than 200 SMS's, close to 500MB data available...I'm rid of CellC☺☺☺
For several years I've been avoiding doing any business with this dealer in Vredendal due to unprofessional attitude of staff and an unpleasant experience wrt an appliance bought. A change to some staff made me think that I could try again...to my detriment! I mentioned to a salesman that I was looking for a small 2-door fridge and on Wednesday, 5 Sep 2018 around 17h20, he summoned me around and showed me a second hand repo fridge in fairly good condition. Close to closing time, I requested him to switch the appliance on so that I could be sure it was working. I left, after his promise to have it tested when I come around the next day...and I pledged to buy. I called the shop at 09h30 Thursday morning to confirm that I would indeed buy the fridge. When I arrived there after work on Thursday afternoon at 16h15, the music in front was louder than any disco...and I was bluntly informed that the fridge has been sold. No explanation, even just a shrug of shoulders from the 'manager', with a smile offering the number for customer complaints! The call to the complaints desk also proved even more worthless...no response to date! I'm working with close to 800 colleagues and had joy in sharing my misfortune via e-mail. The positive response from quite a few indicates that indeed this is one of the worst examples of a furniture outlet! The response on social media is even better! Rating out of 10? Somewhere below 0...
FNB Mobile not just a pathetic service provider, but definitely below standard wrt professionalism, woeful consultants and little attention to dealing effectively with queries. Signed up for a contract 3 months ago, against my better judgement after a short stint with one of their consultants on the terms of the contract which were in my opinion not clearly communicated at branch level. Phone (FNB Conexis X2) freezed/stuck on welcoming screen and after numerous fruitless calls to the most unprofessional consultants, I was advised to submit phone for repairs to branch, with a waiting period of at least 28 days, or alternatively hand in at nearest WeFix repair center (some 350km away!). Opportunity arose and I received a damage report after 5 minutes at the cost of R179 that phone was beyond economical repair. Again after several fruitless, wasteful, costly attempts to speak to a professional consultant (call was ended twice unceremoniously, rudely) I at last got hold of a Phumla (what a difference she made!) and was directed to the Admin dept for some resolution - apparently only a phone replacement on the cards, no option of cancellation. Is a rating below 1 possible??????????
