DH made a mistake. Now I'd like them to rectify it. My son is diabetic on insulin. He is studying overseas and app**** for a 6 month supply of medication ( not all were approved, but that's not the issue). They approved 6 months of a "test strip" called a " Ketostix". These were not requested and and used very infrequently. When I went to the CDE pharmacy on 18 th September 2023( Houghton, JHB) I found this out. What should have been approved were sticks that are used to measure blood sugar ( at least 6 times) a day. The pharmacy were able to give me one box of ketostix and one box of regular blood sugar test strips. I phoned DH on 20 Sept 2023 ( a 25 minute call). they apologised and said they had sorted it out. I went back to the CDE pharmacy today ( 21 Sep 2023)and they said they were blocked from giving me the outstanding 5 boxes of the correct sticks because I had collected items on the 18 th. I had to leave empty handed. Later in the day the pharmacy contacted m e that the correct sticks had been approved. Please can DH collect th e sticks and deliver to my son ( address will be provided). I'm not going to the pharmacy for a third time.
Ordered a printer part on Thursday afternoon. it was delivered on Friday morning.
Want to order an inverter online. Have registered and used website before. Can't edit profile to add my VAT number. Phoned customer care who gave me the " commercial" number. 0860 409 999. Calls either disconnect before being answered or there is a message" " mailbox is full". No reply to e mails. Best to shop elsewhere.
I have a new FNB Premier credit visa card. Spent many hours on the phone to 097 577 7000. Very difficult to get card activated. They then told me that my credit card account was dormant. Used secure chat- told to go to ATM to activate. did this. Card and account now supposed to be active. Card still not working. Then told to synchronize my card at an ATM and use the the new PIN to transform a small transaction. Did this and the card still does not work. Much superior service from Discovery Bank. Have been with Barclays bank/ FNB for 40 years. Probably going to close my FNB account.
Total Scam. Don't waste your time talking to them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent service. Ordered Wednesday night . Received parcel on Saturday morning. I was wary of ordering clothes online- they may not be exactly like the photos, and may not fit. They fit perfectly and look like the photo on the website
Need to change the name of an account holder for a landline. It;'s in my late father's name. I went to the Telkom shop in Norwood. They couldn't help. Told me to go to Killarney or to Rosebank. Went to Killarney. They couldn't help. Said to go to Rosebank. Absolute waste of time.
BIG SCAM !!!. My receptionist was called with a promotional offer- a free toner cartridge for us to try. She was told that they were the manufacturers, and when she is called by the supplier not to worry about the cost. She was told that the suppliers did not know about the free offer. Two cartridges were delivered with an invoice for R3000.00. We asked to return them and they said there is a collection fee. BE WARNED
Ordered form Amazon this morning using my new Discovery bank credit card. Hours later, got a SMS- card declined. Tried later in the day ( now costing me more because exchange rate changed), again declined. Phoned bank: 0860 11 2265. Was told that card was declined because of " suspicious activity", Discovery should have a recording of the call. No one contacted me to verify this. Checked Amazon- now I had ordered two belts. Tried to cancel one- got a message: may be too late to cancel- may have already shipped. Had an FNB card for 25 years - never had problems like this.
Beyond disgusting lack of service. Have been trying for weeks to get help. Every time get cut off. hold on each time for a least 15 minutes each time. They deserve a minus 10 rating.
