Shirley B at Denis on behalf of Bonitas really went over and above to ensure my child was cared for and attended to after a lot of issues with prior dental care and medical aid. I appreciate it so much! I'm glad to say he is all sorted and it wouldn't have been the case if not for her. Thank you for your excellent service and care.
I have a serious case of dental negligence on behalf of my child. The dentist at Pineslopes has causes great harm to my son by doing fillings without cleaning and causing bacteria in his mouth he now has abscesses. She also claimed to have removed teeth that are still in his mouth and so it's causing issues with my medical aid for current correction of the problems cause by Dr Mutinga at Sunset Dentistry. I have email customer care, they don't reply. You can't get them by phone. I am very upset and will now go via the HPCSA. This is unacceptable treatment to a young child. I need this sorted ASAP. My child is in pain because of this.
I am so angry that my young child can't get admitted into theatre for dental work because he is 7. They cover only for 5 and under which are children who would almost never need it as their milk teeth only grow completely after this age. Once again Bonitas has ******* benefits that are impossible to use. Your only options are to always pay out of pocket to highly overpriced anesthetists and maybe get 1/5th of it back in a few weeks. I just want people to be aware with this and rather avoid Bonitas. They offer "great things" that one normal family will almost never be able to use. I can send in a request for authorization but it's 99% certain to be declined as its not part of their policy. (of course, I will pay for this too as it needs a doctor's motivation) It is so unjust and unfair. When paying for medical aid we should not always be put out of pocket by paying crazy fees for medical issues. My child is on the spectrum, but they could not care less! Medical aids used to leave you with little concerns as your medical needs were covered. Now days you will have issues whenever you need to actually use their services.
Rain advertiser R10 a gig which myself and others in my home have been using for over a year now. They've decided to remove it and now it's as expensive if not more than other networks... This is ****my. You get people to move to you only to go take away what you advertised.

Just posting this as warning to anyone with a car. Do not use tracker for your car under any circumstances. They are the biggest ****mers. They know insurance makes you use them. They were meant to give me discount they never did. They also increase their rates every single year when you use them never... They hound you with spam calls as well... For services you don't need. I cannot stand them and to try speak to them on the phone is a joke. Please my advise is to use any other tracking company but them. You've been warned.
I am so fed up with medical aids in this country. I have an urgent procedure to get done and try as I might I couldn't get a close enough appointment at a network hospital. I found a dr near by who charges medical aid rates. I received my authorisation letter which doesnt say what will be covered ONLY that I must co-pay R5500 for a procedure which costs R4500... Seriously no one bothers reading a thing when you send it. Then I must sit with this nonsense not knowing if you will actually cover anything. Also I get the network thing but explain what one is to do in a serious situation with limited doctor's available until December. You guys don't help and I'm so sick of the generic replies to emails. Actually read what we send and reply properly! The service with Bonitas is horrible and I don't recommend them at all.
Oh my where to even start. Vodacom has billed me for data I didn't purchase the lady I dealt with today at customer care is absolutely useless at her job and does not know how to sort anything. I now have 3x the data I ordered. And Vodacom best sort it out I will not pay it and you actually owe me a credit of R214... If not more. Seriously train your staff to do their jobs efficiently. They are completely useless at their jobs.
I called end of April to alert MFC of a serious issue which would mean I would miss one month payment in May. My account is always paid early and in fact is in a credit. When I called I was told he can't help me until the debit bounces, it did, I emailed immediately again to explain I would rectify the outstanding amount from July -not June because I can't. They are rude, unkind and uncaring on the phone and will not accept anything I say even though I have been a very good customer for 2 years. I actually cannot believe the treatment I am receiving. I would strong discourage anyone from using them for car finance. It is why they have a 1.4* review...
A huge mistake moving to Bonitas please parents beware ... They cover no sedation for minors age 6 for dental. They have excuses for everything. They would not cover a day procedure in hospital, made me do a chair sedation on my young child. Only to not pay a think... I had to foot a R5700 bill. They don't care about people let alone children. Any excuse not to pay. Please find another medical aid unless you want endless issues and many things they don't pay for that are standard procedure. I got pre authorisation etc everything... They don't care. Ridiculous. How can you not cover hospital for dental... Dental/medical are the same thing.
