Someone stole my car keys from the driver in the early hours of Friday 2026/01/02. When I called Cartrack to assist us with the location of the vehicle, they said the unit in the vehicle is faulty and so they can’t assist. Instead they booked for a unit repair. Now they want to schedule a date, I’m asking them from which vehicle??? They are doing nothing about it. My car is still missing. And yet they take my money every month.
On the 13th of July we went to Tops Langa Spar in Flagstaff. We paid for the items we wanted. When we were leaving the security picked up that one item was cheaper than its normal price. He asked us to wait, he went to the manager, they fixed the bar code error, they came back and said “ Sorry you cannot have that item, it was a system error. We will refund your money”. The name of the manager was Siphokazi Mahlamva she was so rude and unprofessional. She instructed the security to pull the item from out of our hands and put it back in the shelves. She said yes it was their system error but still we won’t get the item.
Thank you Darshnee Dora for your excellent service 🥰🌺 you were truly amazing, you listened to me and my prejudice, you representented your company well, unlike the two people that dealt with my claim at the beginning. They forgot it’s about client service and not about them and proving themselves, by doing that they were very selfish. Everything is in order, my insurance paid out, and I am going to be reimbursed for any differences that might have occurred. When we take insurance cover, we want to be protected against unforeseen circumstances. Budget insurance is truly the best. The two employees that I dealt with (Makhukho and Mohamed)almost ruined that perception for me. Thank you Darshnee and thank you Budget insurance.
Some companies are not bad at all but the ignorance and incompetence of some of their employees will tarnish their reputation. Makhukho Malatjie who is an appointed representative of Budget insurance to handle my claim has never spoken to me. Everytime I call them she is never available, she does not respond on emails!!! It’s been a month and a few weeks now the claim hasn’t been finalised. She hasn’t communicated what I must do. I am so fed up and disappointed 😞
Took out insurance for my cellphone last year with budget, when I’m putting in a claim they referred it to telesure investment holding, they started investigating me, asking for my car’s tracker, making me sign affidavit because they want my phone records from Vodacom, Visiting at work saying they want to see my appearance, each and every time they are communicating with me there’s a new document I must quickly sign in order to make the process fast, it’s been 3 weeks now and there’s no response. I asked the gentleman who was visiting me at work if I’m under investigation or what and he denied it!! I don’t know what they are looking for, I have provided them with everything they asked for, even though I felt it was ********* at times.

Submitted an insurance claim beginning of December , their courier took a whole 4 days to come and collect the item after I had called the insurance and complained. Now they just called me saying the cellphone will be fixed next year. What am I supposed to do the whole month without a cellphone 😭😭😭. Such poor service.
This bears reference to Hollard Complaint Reference: HOL-274914-11 24 Now Hollard is claiming “the workshop manager opened the panels of the vehicle” and checked the vehicle, they are lying!!! They are putting me under so much stress and frustration. After Straight Through assessors assessed the vehicle, they informed it was a write off and that they are declaring a code 2. I didn’t have a problem with that. I personally went to the workshop and the car was parked there covered in plastic, when I enquired about the vehicle they said it could be repaired. Now why ask for a second opinion from the workshop after I have informed them that I wan to buy back the vehicle?? Why are they not happy with the assessors they sent in the first place?? They sent straight Through assessors and they said the vehicle is a code 2. Now all of a sudden Hollard says no it’s a code 3… why do you want to disadvantage your clients. I don’t even trust you to say have the car assessed again because you will bully those assessors and force your way because you want to rob me of my vehicle and my money!!

I have insurance with Hollard underwritten by Standard Bank. I put through a claim, they sent Assessors’s and they said the car is a write off and is declared a code 2. I requested to buy back my vehicle, then all of a sudden Hollard says they are declaring it a code 3 and they are refusing to sell it to me. What ******* and dishonesty is this?? Such lack of integrity is shocking. This is basically challenging the credibility of the assessors they sent, and it shows they don’t know what they are doing. I would like to buy back my vehicle at a very low price since they informed of the damages.
