Excellent service received from Goistemang Matsepe. He even advised me on benefits I qualified for, which no one else has mentioned in 6+ years I have been with King Price. Kudos to Goistemang. Keep making your clients happy.
I have been trying to lock into my account for two days now, without success. It keeps asking to verify myself with 'Persina', but Persona can't verify my SA ID or drivers licence. How is one supposed to contact LinkedIn Support if you are not able to login. This is the most ridiculous website EVER!!!
I requested a quote for a door handle for my Hisense Fridge/Freezer on 1 June 2020 and a service consultant replied on 2 June with a question. I replied the same day. On 7 June I had to follow up and he replied on 10 June that he is waiting on the spares department to provide him with the correct price. It is now a month later and I still don't have a quote. In the meantime I have to struggle to open my fridge which doesn't have a handle. All the places I tried to get a handle, referred me directly to Hisense, but Hisense doesn't seem to care about its customers or they are doing so well that they don't need business.
I applied for a small loan until my next payday, on which day I receive a salary and a pension. I provided them with three months statements for both the salary and the pension, but my loan was declined, because according to Wonga my income stated on the loan application does not match the salary statement I sent them. They were completely disregarding the pension as income. After a few emails back and forth they then advised me to change my employment status to 'Self-employed' so that they can use both incomes. They actually wanted me to lie on my application. When I reduced my income to just my salary on the loan application, the loan was declined. I have had a number of loans from Wonga in the last 2 years and they have always accepted my income as stated, which included both the salary and the pension. I have a good track record with them, but suddenly my pension is not regarded income. What the hell?!!!
I applied for a small loan on Friday 31/10, which took a call of 25 minutes and R43 airtime. Saturday I still had no word from them and I called again. Just to hear that there is no application pending. Eventually after holding for 15 minutes they finally located my application and promised that they will escalate it as urgent and should still get an SMS with the outcome of the application the same day. Another 23 minutes of airtime wasted. The weekend came and went and on Monday morning I had to call again. Again I got lots of apologies and promises and the assurances that the application has been escalated and I will definitely receive an SMS the same day. Guess what, it is Tuesday morning and I still don't know if the application has been approved or declined. Their website promises a decision in seconds and cash in your account within 24 hours. They must be from another planet where time is measured different to earth and 24 hours is actually 1 week in earth time, if you are lucky. Looking at the reviews on Hello Peter, it also seems that it doesn't bother them that they are the worst at client service. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET AN OUTCOME ON MY APPLICATION!!!!!
I recently moved from Jhb to Pta, but was let down by the moving company I originally booked to move my furniture on 30 Nov 2018. I had to find another company late that day to still move me on the same day or on the 1st of Dec. Taking in consideration that it was month-end and very short notice, I was fortunate enough to get in contact with Lea at Active Transport and she confirmed that they can help me on Saturday afternoon (01/12). I was nervous because of the bad experience with the first company, but she assured me that they will be able to move me at around 2pm on Saturday. They arrived before 1pm in Roodepoort with a 8 ton truck and in an hour they had all my furniture loaded and we were on our way. Arriving in Pta, they unloaded just as quickly without any breakages or damage. They were absolutely wonderful. Excellent and efficient service, which I can really recommend. Thank you Lea and team. You really saved the day.
On 15 Nov I made a booking with James Zunga from Ultimate Logistics for a 5 ton closed truck to move me from Roodepoort to Die Wilgers on 30 Nov at 9:30am. On the 30th I waited and waited and after numerous telephone calls and lots of empty promises that the truck is 10 minutes away, they finally arrived at my address at 1pm with an open 1 tonner and an open trailer. There was no way they would have been able to fit all my furniture and move it in one trip. When I asked the driver where the 5 ton truck was that I booked two weeks ago, he became very cheeky and told me that there were people who booked it three weeks ago. Why did they then accept my booking if the truck was already booked? These people clearly do not have a clue how to run a business or how to treat their customers. I told them to just leave, because I did not want to take the chance of transporting my furniture in an open truck for 80 km and it getting wet if it rained. I was also not prepared to pay extra for a second trip to get everything in Pretoria. I would not recommend this company to anyone, no matter how cheap their quote is. It is true what they say, 'pay cheap and you get cheap service'.
Woolworths should change it's name to Worthless. I recently applied for a credit card at the Centurion Mall branch and everything was going smoothly, until I had to collect my card. There was a system error and they called the IT department who advised that it will take 7 to 10 days to fix. The error was only appearing on my application. The manager, Thabo, was totally incompetent and kept asking the consultant what she can do to resolve the problem. Is solving problems not part of his job description? He also kept telling me that he is no expert and does not know how the process works. Again I ask, is it not part of his job description to know all his departments and their processes? He did not even know his own consultant's name and had to look at her name badge, even though she has been working there for more than a year. That is very, very poor management. All I heard was "can't, can't, can't" from everyone at Woolworths. This is not the Woolworths I grew up with, who in the past could always claim superior service and products. They have become just another average chain with below average customer service. Like I said 'Worthless'!!!
I recently was in the market for a new vehicle and went to Western Autohaus with all the specific requirements. The sales person, Wimpie Kruger, did not try to sell me anything other than what I wanted and showed me a beautiful Mercedes B180. I immediately fell in love, but decided to first shop around and not just take the first car I see. After spending the whole day going from dealer to dealer and receiving very bad service or no service at all, I decided to go for the Mercedes. They offered me a decent price for my old car, which I traded in. I informed Wimpie that I would like to finalise the deal as quickly as possible and on Monday 30 April he set the wheels in motion and on Wednesday 02 May I took possession of my new car (remember the 1st was a public holiday). Wimpie really went out of his way to ensure that I got the car when I wanted it and he also delivered on his promise to get me the spare key and the service book. I can really recommend Western Autohaus to prospective buyers. They have a wide variety of vehicles and they deliver excellent service.
I would like to thank Najith Ramdass and the rest of the staff at the Samsung Brand Store in Clearwater Mall for the wonderful service I received from them today. I was in the market for a new TV and was turned away by two other stores (Sounds Great and Incredible Connections) in the mall, because I pay my TV licence monthly by debit order and when they checked the SABC's system, it reflected an outstanding balance of R224. I explained to them, as I did to the sales persons at the other two stores, that the balance reduces every month. They immediately contacted the SABC (which neither of the other two stores were prepared to do) and in minutes the problem was sorted and I was able to purchase my TV. You really the meaning of GOOD customer service and you carry your company's brand and name high.
