Today I bought a potato salad and the potato’s was so hard and the Swiss roll caramel pudding omw the worst ever is a sweet puddling but I was chewing sugar grains what a waste of money in this economy.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it first opened—well before I even got married, and I’ll be celebrating eight years of marriage this year. That should speak to the level of loyalty and support we’ve had for this place over the years. But what happened on Wednesday was, without a doubt, the worst service I’ve ever experienced there. My family and I walked in and were completely ignored, despite the restaurant being nearly empty — only one other table was occupied. When someone finally acknowledged us, we asked to be seated at a table that needed cleaning. The waiter came over and wiped it down with a cloth so wet it left puddles behind. My husband had to call someone else to dry it properly. Her response? “Sorry about this, maybe she was in a rush.” Not exactly reassuring. Despite the poor service, the food was, as always, fantastic. My son didn’t finish his flapjacks, and I still had some of my tramezzini left. We asked for takeaway containers when we got the bill, and the waitress offered to pack it up for us. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Later that evening, my 4-year-old asked for his flapjacks — only to discover they had been tossed into the same box as my tramezzini. Everything was mixed together. The syrup, the onions, the cheese — all in one soggy mess. My son cried for nearly an hour because his favorite treat now tasted like onions. I’m genuinely shocked that someone working with food thought this was acceptable. After years of being a loyal customer, I left feeling completely let down. It’s so disappointing to see a place you once loved fall so far in terms of care and attention.
I genuinely don’t understand how this KFC stays in business. Without fail, every single weekend the drive-thru is out of service — again. It’s become a predictable disappointment. The staff clearly can’t handle managing both walk-ins and drive-thru orders, so instead of adapting, they just let the drive-thru sit useless while frustrating anyone who pulls in. It’s like they’re actively pushing customers away. At this point, they might as well shut down the drive-thru permanently and rebrand as a walk-in-only outlet. It’s honestly such a waste. I just went there now, and in the short time I was there, three different cars either turned around or drove straight through without ordering. We had to go to another KFC — because really, who wants to go inside when the whole point of a drive-thru is convenience?
I really never learn my lesson by ordering spur take away. Today my partner collected our order bearing in mind we live far from this Halaal spur. When I started eating I lifted the roll on my burger and noticed that I had no patty just a roll and garnish… this is not the first time I have such a disappointment experience from Spur
Honestly the new huggies pull ups is so ****, 3rd nappy I put one for my son out of this pack and it keeps ripping as I pull it up. Ps I have pictures.
I have summited all my documents over 4 months ago and still struggling to get my money from Sanlam. This is really ridiculous. I have spoke to multiple people and even spoken to the manager on duty that promised me a call back to sort out the issue which is nothing to be sorted out they have all my details all they need to do is pay my money. I will never take out anything with this company ever again they a well know company however there employees dont know what the hell they doing honestly. Not sure if its cause the working from home so they actually not working but its really a joke.
I am so disappointed in Debonairs Westgate mall , on Friday evening I ordered from them and usually the driver either comes to the door or calls once his outside however their disrespectful driver was just hooting like a crazy person outside with an intention of waking up all my Neighbors at 11pm in the evening , he then called me while us was pressing that hooter so can you just imagine what I was hearing on the other end of the call , I then when outside to ask him if his crazy and why is he doing that the driver was so disrespectful told me I’m crazy for over reacting I then asked him to give me his name and bluntly refused I was so upset immediately called the number I placed the order on the girl on the other end was of no help I called that number 3 times and then decided to ask for a manager I would like to also point out that they have no phone etiquette as I could here the girl on the other end say in Afrikaans she’s asking for a manager ,the manager then came on the line a lady by the name of Ferial, trying to explain and defend this guy and all I wanted was this guys name after being on the line for 10 minutes she finally told me his name is Achmat however he is not there real driver he only helps out on weekends and late and night I just said I doesn’t really matter as that is the person they choose to represent their business, after all of this it’s safe to say that Debonairs lost a customer I’m sorry I am somebody that is very over customer service and I don’t support business with attitudes and disrespect
Saturday the 30th of September my fiancé and I decided to purchase a TV we went to incredible connections in Cavendish we bought a LG 55 inch smart TV, later the evening when we got home opened the box the remote was already out of the packet with the batteries in , the TV looks like it's been handed up already and the stands had dust underneath and there was no power cable in the box. I was totally upset about it. We then called the story the next morning saying that we will be bring the TV back got there then the manager offered to give us a 5% discount on the TV which works out to R400 when then refused the offer he said that he can give us another Tv of the same price however it will be a hisence and a 50 inch instead of a 55 inch we then said it's okay we want a LG TV , they then said we can wait a week for them to give us the same TV . We refused the offer and the manager insisted that what happen wasn't his fault what type of manager doesn't know what's happening in his own store and what store doesn't check what's happening in the box before giving it to the customers... they then refunded our money back which would apparently take 48 HRs to reflect, first and worst experience with Incredible connections I will never be purchasing there in the future... #Dionwired
