This company is absolutely useless!!! I've been trying to get Rain to cancel (signal is non-existent in my current location) my payment since the beginning of March 2024, but they keep replying that one of their service agents will make contact soon. Nobody has made with me and yet they are still trying to take money from my account!!!!!!!!
CellC has no, nada, zilch customer service. For several weeks I have been trying to make contact with somebody to change my banking details -- don't even try phoning them or use their Facebook messenger service as they are also useless. They keep telling me that someone calling from 084 135 could not get hold of me -- no missed calls or messages have been recorded on my mobile!!! ABSOLUTELY USELESS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This company makes promises that they cannot keep!!! I moved out of a property that I was renting in Melkbosch Village on the 27th of March and was promised by the rental agent that the rental deposit would be paid into my bank account within 7 days, which as at 09:38am on the 8th of April has not been paid into my bank account!!!
False advertising online - you can create an account online. ******* as when I tried via their app, I was told that I had to go into a branch to activate the app as "The Department of Home Affairs does not have a digital photo of you on record". I'm 68 years old (and have been a law-abiding citizen) and don't have transport or any means of getting to their nearest branch. So now what?
I had a Business Account and wanted to change to a personal account, but I had to close my business account and reopen a personal account but their open a new account doesn't work. I keep getting a pop-up message -- when I enter my mobile number to get the code -- that tells me that "we cannot complete your request and I must try again later". This has been going on since just before Christmas 2023. Their staff on their Facebook chat don't know what they are talking about and are useless!!!!
Absolutely useless company that makes promises that they cannot keep! I've been trying to find an email address since 19/12/2022 to ask a simple question about how to do an MTN Data SIM card swop that I got through MWEB. I made contact with their Facebook message page as their website doesn't list any email addresses. On 22/12/2022 I sent a follow up to which I got s reply on 28/12/2022 asking for information to which I replied with the info. On the 06/01/2023 I got a reply saying that someone would make contact with me on 09/01/2023 @ 13:00. Needless to say, that nobody has made contact with me. I wish that HelloPeter had a rating of 0 (zero) as I would give MWEB a rating of 0 as they don't have any service whatsoever!!!!
Absolutely useless company!!! I've been trying to get a Data SIM Card swap since 15/09.2022. According to their website (when logged into my account) they have a branch in Table Bay Mall, Cape Town -- the closet branch to where I stay in Melkbosstrand. On traveling about 15 kms to Table Bay Mall, I found that the branch had closed. The next branch is at Bayside Mall and even further away from my home. I logged a customer service case online on 15/09.2022 and got an email back to say that someone would contact 24-48 hors. Sunday 18 /09/2022 I sent an email to their customer service email and got an email on 20/09/2022 saying that my complaint now has been forwarded to the relevant department for their further action. 2 days later and still no reply!!!!!
Shocking service received from a bank that rates themselves as the no 1 bank in South Africa, WHAT A JOKE!!! I've been trying to change my account to their Fusion Account but before doing the change over I need some information which I have never received either by email or appointment at a branch only to get there to find that the person I went to see is not in in. Apparently she was on training, the training must have been on how to stuff customers around!!!
I've been purchasing items from takealot.com for several years now and they have always met and exceeded my expectations. However after my experience after my last order I'm thinking of not supporting them any longer. 2 items purchased that the instruction manual isn't worth the paper that they were printed on, they don't even cover half of the futures and have obviously been translated from Chinese into English which makes it even more confusing. I have been trying since the 7th of July to try and find our where I can download a online manual that is more complete but no luck. I get given a website link that upon checking them out I realised that they have nothing to do with the 2 items purchased and asked them to check but get told I must click on the link provided. Go figure the education level of their employees is zero!!!!
