I had an incident with takealot where I bought a UPS and a few moments later the order was cancelled automatically by Takealot and I was notified via email. At first I was told that it was cancelled because there was not stock. Then when I said how could I have bought it if there was no stock, takealot changed their story and said the price was incorrect. I said to takealot but that is not my fault but they responded and said they are not responsible for mistakes by 3rd party sellers. I emailed frederik zietsman, kim reid, gideon granville, julie-anne walsh, francois retief, sam joynt, andrew dallas, dave buck, mamongae mahlare, octavius vermooten, tessa ackermann but none of them found in my favour and the seller Vor-Tech got away with it.
I'd like to thank Dylan van Graan from AfricaPC CPT for the excellent assistance I got from him while looking for a refurbished server. This guy really goes the distance with you and is with you every step of the way. He is prompt with his email responses and very patient. The epitome of great customer service. Keep it up sir.
Really happy with the amazing service from Hyundai Somerset West. Yesterday I took my car in for the service and it went great. From logging the service to working with the staff it is really world class. Big shout out goes to Riana from the vehicle servicing team for assisting me as well, she is a real STAR. I can definitely recommend Hyundai Somerset as the best Hyundai in Cape Town as I have been to many. My journey started with them when I worked with the BEST car salesperson ever Nic. Would definitely recommend that you get your Hyundai from Hyundai Somerset West, from Nic and have it serviced through Riana.
Really happy with the experience I am having with FS. Firstly, I got a great price for what I bought and I mean REALLY great price. Secondly, communication with FS has been great, all emails with invoices and other comms was world class. Thirdly, when I needed assistance with a query the response was lightening quick. FS is definitely a recommend from me. They are much better than other online IT retailers!
I am SUPER happy with my recent purchase from FirstShop. I was in real need of a 10m extension for my 3.5mm gaming ear phones. I checked all over but could not find the one that I needed. I was going to buy on Amazon as a last resort but then I checked online again and saw that FirstShop had a good quality one. It was so easy to shop from FirstShop and they kept me update to date from purshase to delivery via email. You rarely get this type of service especially from the other online stores. The courier service used was professional and they delivered before the expected date. Package was in good nick and product was in pristine condition. I am HAPPY with my product and SUPER HAPPY with FirstShop
I'd like to thank Nic Lotter & Hyundai Somerset West for the BEST SERVICE EVER when buying my Hyundai Elantra Sport this month. It has taken a year & a bit to decide to buy this car. It's taken this long because a few dealers in Cape Town were not willing to deal with me in terms of good trade-in & the new car. As a last effort, I emailed all the Hyundai dealers in SA & Junaid Aziz from head office put me in touch with Nic at Hyundai Somerset West. I could immediately tell that Nic wanted to get me into this car that I deperately wanted, with much effort on his part. He looked at my current car at the time, & did not say like the other dealers that the color was not popular & that it would not sell quickly so he could not do a good trade in. What he said was the car is in great condition, looked after & had low kilometers. Then with regard to the new car, he gave me the most awesome deal that I did not expect & have never received when purchasing my previous 2 Hyundais. Even when another dealer came out of nowhere with an even better deal, Nic said that he was not willing to lose me & came with an even better deal that beat the other dealers offering. You know what, I felt like royalty because of Nic Lotter. I've never felt like this before when buying a car. Yes, I received good service before but this was something else. Nic never even bugged me with day-to-day calls asking when I am going to buy the car, etc. He knew I was serious & all he did was treat me well & gave me the best deal. I'd like to thank Junaid Aziz for all the hard work & effort that he also put into me getting this car. I could tell that I was his top priority & that he was going to do everything he could to get me into this car. Awesome Junaid, just awesome! Also thanks to Nicki Roodt the FnI for working with me, explaining all the details of the finance, for answering my initial questions & then follow up questions. I LOVE HYUNDAI SOMERSET WEST!!!
I am thoroughly disgusted at Hygiene Extreme pathetic hell driver staff. I was leaving work and driving on Doncaster Road, turning right onto Chichester Road about to take the slip way to the left to get onto the M5. I take the turn into the leftmost lane of Chichester Road which brings one close to Access Park, only to see your driver (CY 312 341) right next to mein the right lane wanting to force his way into the left most lane in order to take the slipway as well. He could have been in the correct lane as I was at the Doncaster traffic lights but he felt that this is not necessary as he can burst in later of course. However, he sees he cannot make it to the slip way so he rather slows down and goes behind me. Then as we take the slipway, the one lanes becomes two. I go into the right lane and he stays in the left. When he passes me, I look at him and shrug my shoulders basically to say what was that about and guess what? He shows me his middle finger. Can you believe that? A grown man, showing a stranger obscene gestures even though he was wrong. Seriously Hygiene Extreme your drivers are pathetic, dangerous and have no respect for fellow citizens. If your drivers act like this I would hate to see the quality of your work.
We were tried to buy a Huawei Y5 2017 on Sunda but it seems it is really hard to do this. We went to the Vodashop at King Shaka International this morning and I saw the Y5 2017 in the February brochure but the person who assisted us advised they still await new stock. We thought nothing about it and left the store. When we were back in CPT later on Sunday, we went to the Canal Walk Vodashop close to the PnP and they too advised that they had none in stock. Thought this was a mere coincedence and left. Finally, we went to the other Vodashop closer to Checkers and again they advised that they had no stock. However, the individuals I spoke to were very casual and did not seemto care about us. I was quite surprised that Anthony and Jaimee made no effort for me as the customer to try and get us the Y5. All they could say is that it was out of stock. No attempt was made at that point to source a Y5 for us in any way. We basically felt that no effort was made to try and help us and they would have been happy if we had just left. It was only after we said we had enough of this poor service and advised them to act more professionally, that they decided to check the system/contact head office. Then they tell us that there is stock at head office but that they cannot tell us when it will arrive. I told them that this is unacceptable and that I want to get some feedback by latest on Wednesday. Jaimee then asks another gentleman colleague wearing a black shirt and then he advised that stock should reach the branch within a week of order. Then the manager (didn't get her name) comes and advises that the reason why there is no stock is because the Y5 does not really sell and that it would be a space waster to have it available on hand. I say that this is proposterous as this is not written in the brochure that there will be no stock despite it being in the brochure. However, she does advise us that the phone could be in their branch by this coming Wednesday if they order it. So I am not sure how the delivery goes from 'not sure when it will arrive' to 'it will take a week' to 'it will be available in a couple of days'. REALLY, this was really pathetic and unprofessional experience. Now I get a phone call from Jaimee and she tells me they can't get the phone. First it was out of stock when they checked the system but now it is just not available. Vodacom claims to be the number one network but this experience was really substandard. These Vodacom staff really did not care about us!
I booked this hotel out of the other options because a pool was advertised on Agoda. Really this was the only reason why since other hotels were in fact just as good an option. However, for all of our stay the pool water was really murky. We were told that this was because the pool was being cleaned after a function. We enquired about the state of the pool every day but we were given different stores by different people. We had to spend R600 to swim elsewhere as the beach had bluebottles. To our surprise on the day before we have to leave we see that the pool is in a much better condition. No one ever gave us an update as to the progress of the pool clean not even the maintenance manager Graeme who we reported the issue again. Even the toilet in our room 901 and required us to flush multiple times everytime. I will never return to Blue Waters Hotel ever again.
I'd like to say that I am truly appalled and disgusted at the way Takealot have handled this situation. Takealot, your lack of caring to keep to the agreed scheduled delivery is really pathetic. I was so embarrassed and had to apologize profusely to my neighbour who is 70+ years old for again having this really heavy treadmill delivered to him and it may have seemed that I would have wanted him to again help me carry the treadmill to my house. This is not how things should work, as Skynet was supposed to deliver it this week as agreed. It was only on the insistence of my cousin who had fetch us from the airport that I agreed that he would help me to get the treadmill and take it to my house. Even so, this is not my cousin’s job. I really wish that Takealot staff would take their job and customers seriously. Takealot staff has no respect for me as a customer which is just disgusting and pathetic. I really do not want to ever engage with the individuals involved with this incident.
