After reading all the negative reviews for Reliable I thought I would never receive my item. I have to give credit where credit is due. I have been advised (via email) of the progress of the shipping of the item. Just one thing people must remember BEFORE placing your order, check the delivery date at the bottom of the item! Mine said 2 months and that is how long it took to the day. The majority of the items (I believe) come from CHINA, and it is obviously "a slow boat from China" but it does arrive.
JUST A HEADS UP, DSTV ADD THE DISNEY CHANNEL TO YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT EVEN ASKING YOU AND WHEN YOU QUERY IT YOU GET A REFERENCE NUMBER THAT THE AMOUNT WILL NOT COME OFF YOUR ACCOUNT AND YET YOU CHECK YOUR BACK STATEMENT AND THEY HAVE STILL TAKEN IT OFF!!! ABSOLUTE IDIOTS.
ABSOLUTELY GUTTED AT THE RESPONSE. FREEZER/FRIDGE HAD A GAS LEAK ENTIRE CONTENTS OF FREEZER RUINED. TRIED TO CLAIM FOR JUST THE CONTENTS R1757.92. SPOKE TO JOANNE WHO ADVISED ME THAT AFTER BEING WITH THEM FOR 10 YEARS AND NO CLAIM EVERYTHING WAS OKAY TO CLAIM. PUT ME THROUGH TO A GENTLEMAN THAT SAYS ONLY IF IT IS A POWER SURGE OR LIGHTENING WILL THEY PAY. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT WHEN IT COMES TO PAYING OUT A SMALL AMOUNT THE ANSWER IS NO. ABSOLUTELY P****D OFF WITH OUTSURANCE!!!!!
THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST BANK IN SOUTH AFRICA. I HAVE BEEN BANKING WITH THEM FOR YEARS AND HAD A HOME LOAN WITH THEM WHICH WAS FULLY PAID OFF. PHONED TO ASK WHY MY CREDIT CARD LIMIT HAD NEVER BEEN INCREASED IN YEARS ONLY TO BE TOLD BY AN ABSOLUTE **** OF A WOMAN (WHO TRIED TO OVERTALK ME THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION) THAT I NEED PAY SLIPS. HOW THE HANG DO YOU GET PAYSLIPS IF YOU ARE RETIRED. THEY CAN STICK THEIR CREDIT CARD WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE, AND IT WOULD BE A PLEASURE TO MEET THE WOMAN I SPOKE TO IN PERSON. DISGUSTING PIECE OF WORK. I WILL JUST STAY WITH STANDARD BANK WHERE AT LEAST I GET TREATED LIKE A HUMAN.
bought 2 identical items, received the first one. the 2nd one was cancelled by myself due to it not being shipped. I have asked several times for a refund (even sending back-up for proof) and they have refunded the shipping costs IN ZAR without converting it from USD. Absolutely exhausted at explaining over and over again what their mistake is. NEVER AGAIN.

I PLACED AN ORDER WITH MANICAA ON 6/7/20. AND AFTER NOT HEARING FROM THEM THOUGHT THEY WERE A SCAM AFTER READING OTHER PEOPLES EXPERIENCES ON HELLO PETER. WELL I HAVE TO TAKE THAT BACK THEY HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT WITH KEEPING ME UP TO DATE WITH WHAT IS HAPPENING AND EVEN WITH THE COVID 19 I RECEIVED MY PARCEL VIA COURIER. EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED, SO DEFINITALEY NOT A SCAM. ANN D.
ON 28/9/19 MY DEBIT ORDER WAS OVERDEBITED BY NEARLY R250. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE TO DSTV CENTRE IN DURBAN AND HAVE BEEN GIVEN ASSURANCE THAT THIS AMOUNT WILL BE REVERSED AND I WOULD BE GIVEN I CREDIT. I WAS EVEN GIVEN A REFERENCE NO. 3837645-i93. TODAY AFTER 3 PHONE CALLS I GET TOLD THAT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE AND THAT TO ASK FOR A CREDIT I NEED TO GO ALL THE WAY TO UMHLANGA ROCKS. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THIS IN THE FIRST PHONE CALL. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE LOAD OF NONSENSE THAT A CREDIT CANNOT BE DONE TELEPHONICALLY. TOTALLY PI***D OFF WITH DSTV AND ITS DURBAN CALL CENTRE.
I am now at the end of my tether. I have been trying since the 28 Nov last year to get my line moved to a new address. I sit with the cell phone for 20 to 30 minutes before it even gets answered. Then comes all the 20 questions for verification only to be told some lame damned excuse as to why it has not been done! For Pete's sake how can it take this long when during the first call I was told 7 to 14 days. I honestly don't know who to get in touch with to get this solved, can someone out there help!
