Cielo furniture is stunning - I bought fabulous Black Friday bargains online & was hugely impressed by the after-sales service to ensure I received my goods quickly and in perfect condition. The delivery service is outstanding.
Ordered Big5 braai kettle online on 31 October. Delivered 08 Nov. Damaged condition. Requested return immediately. No feedback. Checked online account - "return request denied". Called Makro 12 Nov. Helpful agent told me request had actually been processed. Got email 13 Nov from Makro telling me to have product ready for collection by courier on 14 Nov. WAITED AT HOME ENTIRE DAY but courier did not show up. Have called Makro repeatedly today. Get put on hold & then cut off. ALL I WANTED WAS TO BRAAI
Worst online shopping ever. I battled a month to get the 2 (international supplier = badly made chinese *******) jerseys that I had paid R1200 for. When they finally arrived, they were completely different to the photos on Zando's website. They are tiny. Not the medium size that I Iordered according to Zando's size guide. They are dark "school uniform green", not thd pretty "dusty sage" that is advertised. They are made from.a foul-smelling synthetic that feels like it's made of rubber, not a "jersey knit". One of them was literally disintegrating as i removed it from the packet. In essence, the cheapest, ugliest, most inferior items you can imagine- at R600 each. Rather go to any of our local budget retail outlets & for R1200 you'll get at least 6 knitted winter garments of better quality, the size that fits you, and the colour you want. Do not trust Zando's "jnternational" range (or any of these "international" retailers that are crowding out the online market)
Paid R714 for two jerseys, only to receive customs demand for another R470. Zando customer support said I should have been aware I would need to pay almost 70% extra to receive the goods. I deliberately bought from Zando to support local enterprise but i should have gone directly to Temu, paid half of what Zandi charged, and then less import tax, too. This is the last time I will "support local" in the form of Zando
On 03 December I placed and paid for order & delivery of goods to the value of R2400 via Buco online. On 04 December I received email confirmation of the order and status "picking". Three weeks later, I have not received the goods or had any further communication from Buco. They do not answer calls to the number provided, or respond to email enquiries to the address. Buco online seems to exist purely as a marketing mechanism, & not a genuine supplier of goods.
Shockingly misleading online advertising. The t-shirts I received do not resemble the products advertised at all, except in colour. The actual style, size, shape & logo are completely different, plus the quality is inferior. Waste of money.
Beware entrusting yr assets to this bank. They have just acknowledged that their record profits in 2023 are due to growth in corporate sector banking, while private banking declined. In other words, unless you are a corporation, you will receive ZERO service. My late mother passed in 2020 and Standard Bank was supposed to finalize her estate. All we got from them was a process outline. Emails and phone calls to designated addresses and numbers simply go unanswered. For 5 months a wonderful lady working on a 6-month contract helped us, but everything was dropped when her contract ended last December. Since then...silence. Charming staff - but an unscrupulous business. I've been trying to cancel the policy I took out in August 2017 since 12 December 2023 and they simply ignore my emails. I receive automated responses and that's it. BEWARE. Clearly they function on the basis of luring yoj in & then holding upu captive, leaving the client no alternative other than to approach the Ombudsman to terminate a policy
Great products, impressive range, from classic to edgy urban rebel. Really fast & efficient delivery system. SUPERB online retail experience. Leaves the others in the shade.
Superbalist's delivery service and back office "support" are the exact opposite of the name. I ordered goods on 26 Jan, got message 27 Jan to say goods on way. Then got sms telling me to expect delivery 31 Jan. But on 29 Jan got sms telling me to expect goods on that day. Goods didn't arrive, email from back office agent later that day told me they couldn't find my address. I sent detailed explanation of my address and waited on 31 Jan for delivery. Nothing. Got email from back office agent the following day telling me they couldn't deliver. Well that wasn't helpful Agent said sorry, goods had gone to wrong depot, but the courier would be in contact and I would receive sms confirmation of the new delivery date. Agent also undertook to confirm. Nothing till Friday - then I got a snooty email from "support" saying my order had been canceled because the courier had been unable to make contact with me. Maybe they meant telepathic contact. I have complained twice and they just ignore my emails. Meanwhile, an order I placed with Zando on 30 January arrived on 03 Feb - somehow all the other couriers always manage to find me. Go figure how little effort Superbalist makes for its customers.
