My family and I are regulars at Rockafellas. We book often at this establishment and we refer several families to support you. Last night we were waiting in the queue outside the door and a couple just arrived and walked right into the restaurant and were assisted before any of the people who were waiting in the queue for quite a while. They were seated before the door was opened for the people who had bookings and I'm quite sure that this couple did not have a reservation as they were enquiring prior to making payment. As for the play area, the lady Fezeka, is extremely rude and ******. There were only 2 Indian children in the play area and she spoke to them very abruptly and did not even watch them as they played. Whilst she played with the other children in the area and was so kind toward them. I was completely appalled at her behavior. Hence I decided to watch my child as she did not care about the Indian children in the play area. She then told me that I'm not allowed there and I should leave, but the other adults who were of other races were not told anything and stayed there for hours. She continued to treat the Indian children with such disrespect throughout the evening and kept telling me to leave. Everytime I checked on my child, Fezeka was sitting down and carrying the other kids and playing with them whilst the children played rough and some got hurt. Such an individual should not be allowed near children because she has no ethics and her character is utter disrespectful.
After years of support and donations to the Pietermaritzburg SPCA, I went in yesterday to adopt a kitten. The ladies at reception then advised me to speak to Phumzile who would provide more information about the kittens. As I walked through I enquired about the kittens in the last cage and Phumzile said that people are not allowed to even see those kittens yet as they have not received their second vaccination but will be ready by the end of October if I would like to adopt one of them as all will be available. She advised that I should go into reception to find out about the application process. I went into reception and the ladies confirmed that I am able to fill in an application for one of the kittens that will be available at the end of the month. I asked again and the ladies were polite and confirmed that I can fill in the application for the white and ginger kitten as the kitten will be available at the end of the month and the procedure can continue in the meanwhile. After I had completed the application form, Phumzile stormed into the reception area and said "I HAVE ALREADY EXPLAINED THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FILL IN AN APPLICATION". Upon further questioning, Phumzile revealed that she is keeping this kitten, who is supposedly not available yet, for someone who she had personally promised. I asked what process did the individual follow, and she said that the person had left THE CONTACT NUMBER ONLY with her. I would like to know if the formal process to be followed is promising kittens to people and the qualifying criteria is leaving a contact number? Without any inspection or application? I find such dishonesty in this system as Phumzile firstly said that the kitten was not available to anyone due to vaccinations and then she reveals that the kitten is actually taken? Is this fair? Is this how the system should work? Phumzile is very rude and arrogant. I called earlier again to speak to someone about this procedure and Phumzile's response was " so what do you want?I am the one in charge here" Is this how people are treated? This is absolute corruption in the system.
Terrible customer service from the edgars active at edendale mall. The lady at the till,by the name of stembile, has no regard for customers. She was openly complaining about customers and when it was my turn to go to the till, I greeted her and she completely ignored me. No smile whatsoever. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will be closing off all my edcon accounts due to this disgusting behavior . Her manager stood right beside her and failed to correct her. It seems as if this behavior is a norm in this company. Even management dont acknowledge their customers! And cannot supervise their staff. Very disappointing.
About two weeks ago I had a terrible experience at the Cine centre at liberty Midlands mall. I had complained about this and was promised that the matter would be addressed and would not repeat itself. Last night I decided to go to this establishment. I was running late for a movie and thankfully there wasnt anyone in the queue. As I stood before the cashier waiting to purchase a ticket, I greeted her and she ignored me and began talking to someone across her while I had been waiting. This continued for about five minutes as I just waited and was not even greeted or acknowledged. When she finally decided to turn her attention toward me, she had a terrible attitude and no friendly service whatsoever. Don't these people know how to smile? Or even greet? I am completely appalled by this disgusting service and the attitude of this woman. How long will this continue for? We are paying customers and should not be treated this way.
The branch at the bp garage on the N3 has the most unfriendly staff. I went to Debonairs last month and the staff did not even acknowledge me as a customer. They just kept talking to eachother as if I wasnt even there. I was so upset that I walked away
I ordered two items from Happy deals last year for a birthday gift for my brother. Two days after using the first watch it stopped working. I then returned it and was refunded. After a week of using the second one it stopped working. I spoke to a lady named Sheries who reassured me that it would be refunded. I sent the watch in August 2017. After a while had gone by, I received no response. I called to follow up and was told that they had not received it. After more than a month I called again and made sure they checked. After about 5 calls I was told that they had the watch all this time but did not update their system. I was emailed a confirmation of a refund of R293 After two months had gone by, with no refund received, I had called 7 times and was told that the payroll administrator was not there each and every time. A month later I followed up again and was told that the refund would be R193. I them sent through the confirmation email of R293 and was told that the amount was incorrect. Each time I called I requested to speak to the manager and I was told that she's busy but I should leave my number and she will get back to me. She has never contacted me in all these months. I called the other day and was told that they will get back to me as no refunded has been processed. No call was received. I have spent more airtime trying to contact these people than the actual refund. And every time I have been given the run around. Absolutely pathetic service.! I even paid extra for my order and now I'm left with no refund and no watch. I've never experienced such disgusting service! From August till today I have not received any feedback or update. It's only empty promises and pathetic service.
On the 14th of January I went to the cine centre at liberty mall as I am a regular. As I waited to purchase a ticket I was not even greeted by the lady at the counter even after I had greeted her. I was extremely disappointed as this was not the first time receiving bad service at this cinema. When I went to the refreshments counter to order, the lady was so arrogant and just stared at me when I ordered and asked "anything else" with the worse possible art while I was placing my order. The terrible customer service had spoiled the entire evening for me. I am entirely disgusted with the pathetic service and I will not return as this behavior seems to be an exception at this cinema.
