Tried emailing twice about the new Vitality Drive structure and why I was not getting the same percentage rebate as previously. No reply. Eventually got hold of an excellent person on the phone who told me it was because the minimum household insurance threshold amount had been raised. No one before told me this information - and almost seemed reluctant to. It doesn;t appear on the app or anywhere else I can see. It was a simple fix that could have been communicated better to clients - and one which cost me money. I like Discovery and they have always been good, but their coms could be markedly better... unless they are intentionally withholding information?
Still waiting on my promised upgrade. A month later. And no-one seems to be able to help. Just try to ring customer ‘care’. If this isn’t a scammer, their incompetence puts them pretty close.
Medexpress - How Discovery delivers medication. Absolutely terrible. They keep making an absolute mess of my prescription. But the worst thing is that you cannot speak to a human being. Try calling the Discovery number and it takes 5 minutes before you even get to where you need to be - only to face high call volumes or a dropped call. And when they do call you, it is usually at the worst time of day. No message no number to return the call. I wish I had a different option.

Firstly: Eco-Smart treatments work. I had my (small) garden fumigated for termites. It worked.

But here's the thing: I was quoted a price of R650 for an external treatment. After having to email and phone twice so that I could get the invoice, I was charged just over R1000! (For about half an hours' work.)

and here I was ready to recommend them to the world.

Ouch.

I recently bought a new Fiesta from Eagle Ford and couldn't be happier. The salespeople, Shelley de Agiuar and Henri Botha, got me a great deal - significantly cheaper than I could find anywhere else. They were also patient and attentive - Henri even took the time to answer a great many questions I had after purchasing the car. The finance lady, Sydelle Temu, was just as good - even coming in to see me at work to bring me the contract. Glad to be a part of the family!

I was recently contacted by an 8ta representative who convinced me to upgrade my data account. In addition, I was promised a free wifi router. This was to be delivered to my home, with the proviso that I would be phoned and informed when this was going to be delivered. Needless to say, the delivery company showed up on an arbitrary morning, without informing me.

The upshot: I'm now on an upgraded contract, but I have yet to see my router. To be frank, I doubt I ever will.

What a scam.
On two occasions, I've bought an extended warantee after being harassed at the till. On both occasions, I was promised that my warantee details would be automatically emailed to me.

I suspect that this is a scam. Even after complaining, I still haven't seen any evidence of my warantee.

Customers beware: Don't trust the 'warantee' offered by this store.

In fact, don't trust this store.
