Was involved in a car accident on the 14/12/24 complained about how long it was taking for my claim to be finilised on hellopeter 110125, then I got a call from the manager who promised to come back to me with the final verdict on the 14th, however she delegated the task to someone else who told me that just because they could not confirm the 4 years of my 7 years claim free period I had to pay an extra 13k on my excess. I was then left with the task of going back to 2018-2021 and recall all the insurance companies I was with and also get my claim history from one of them discovery insure. Albeit being very stressed and literally on the verge of depression over this which I’ve expressed to them but my feelings were met with a nonchalant, none of my business, it is what it is feedback ever. I called the repairer where my car is just to find out if they have been given instructions to start on the car but was told my car will have to be moved to another repairer, so when I told my insurance that I’d like my car to be moved closer to my home and asking them to give instructions so that I don’t have to wait another month for repairs I was told that’s internal processes. I explained why I called and expressed my frustrations but who cares. I’ve been with a lot of insurers and this is not my first claim in life but this is the first time it took over a month for just approval of a claim and I had to even assist with the investigation. I don’t call budget insurance a mere premium collector to be spiteful but it’s the lack of sympathy, the insensitivity and lack of urgency my claim is being treated despite explaining numerous times that I am stuck and have no other mode of transportation. But don’t take my word for it, stay with budget and pray you never have to file a claim cause if you do you’ll get the same treatment as over 3k reviewers experienced. That’s budget for you. There’s definitely a catch to the low premium you pay.

I got such amazing service from Monica I don’t know if she could tell that I was crushed in spirit and was trying to lift me up or what but I appreciate her kindness and dedication to ensuring that i get as much details as possible on my car. Run!! If you are with budget and haven’t claimed yet, change insurance ASAP! You don’t wanna find yourself in our shoes. They deliberately delay claims to frustrate you, I’m not sure if the intention is for you to cancel the claim and do the repairs yourself or for you to accept low payout out of frustration. I submitted a claim in 14/12/24 to this day12/01/15 it is still being processed not yet finalised. Budget does not care about their clients , they only care about collecting premiums. Even after explaining that I don’t have any other means of transport, I’m talking to myself. That is none of their concern. Had I known what I was walking into when I took out cover I would have never came to budget. So please do yourselves a favour and take cover elsewhere if you haven’t claimed but if you have claimed preciously be better than them and show good faith by staying long enough for them to collect their money paid for your claim

. I have switched from conventional electricity to prepaid electricity but I am still being charged exorbitant amounts for electricity. You will never get a clear response from them.
On the 17th July I purchased a few items on the Woolworths dash however the items were not delivered, we were told they will be delivered to our nearest Woolworths store and we should go collect them there when they’re ready. When nothing happened I called the helpcentre to follow up on the order, but I was told they have processed a refund on my order and the money will take 3days to reflectin my acc. Until today nothing has transpired. My order number is 01533540200.

I took up a data contract in December 2023 which came with a roster for R135 a month. I was promised free service for December and I would only be charged end of January. I was promised an email with all the documents and customer care details and I had 7days cooling off period etc. in January I was charged double and same for February then I reversed double amount charged double so that they only took R135. In March I was charged R135 only but my service was disconnected, I tried calling 081 135 so many times all in vain. Today I wake up to a notification of R756 being debited from my account by Telkom. Telkom never reached out to explain why they suspended the service. Never even sent me the contract in writing or verbally. I am so angry that they feel they can do as they please with my account. I don’t even know my account number all I have is this reference I see on my bank statement Tellommobi50937568901155184202
I had a long standing refund query that I was battling to have resolved. Today I spoke to Daniel Molefe the campaign manager who sorted out my query within minutes and the refund was deposited to my account. He was very sympathetic and explained how he will go about resolving my issue and kept me in the loop throughout the process. This is service on another level, completely unmatched! It’s a pity I can only give 5 stars but you definitely deserve 10.
