Bad standard of food.
We had their Omelet. It was very dry. It seams that they put flour in it. When the bill came we wrote on the bill that the manager must phone my wife. Two weeks later and no one phoned. That is how they think of their customers. We will not be going back soon to The Rose Garden in Port Elizabeth.

Clean transport environment
Good day All, I was shocked on Monday afternoon whilst waiting in the parking lot at Sandton Square, Sherwood, Port Elizabeth, when a delivery panel van from Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group parked next to me. When the lady driver opened her door, I just saw a cloud of cigarette smoke coming from the vehicle. The driver opened the side sliding door, then lite another cigarette, pick-up a parcel, closed the sliding door and walked to the pharmacy on the square. I would hate to think how clean smelling the inside of the vehicle and the parcel are to be. The drivers should be non smoking as they are transporting medical items. Thanks Hans

Hygiene Standards
Good morning, Last week I was at Burger King, Willow Road, Lorraine, Port Elizabeth. Placed my order with a cool drink. The person took the paper cup putting her whole bare thumb into the cup. When I asked for another cup without her thumb in the cup she sniffed every hard. Where is Burger King's hygiene standards as they work with food and the public. There was no supervisor to be seen on the floor. Thanks Hans

Not a happy chappie
Good afternoon, On Saturday, 16th January 2021, I was very disappointed with the overhaul service of Wimpy in Uitenhage. I waited to be seated by the till lady. As I sat down I asked her to bring me a coffee with milk. She said it's on the way. A while later she brought the coffee. I then placed my order, an omelet with bacon and cheese. This took forever to come to my table. I saw the plate of food standing on the serving counter. The other waitrons just ignored the plate. None of them spoke to this lady. When the food arrived, it had lost it's heat. I wanted to send the plate back, how long would I have to wait. When I was finished, I just sat waiting for someone to ask me if I wanted something else. A waitron walked towards the area where I was sitting. I made eye contact with this lady and showed her that I would like the bill. She walked past the table and went to the kitchen area and disappeared out of sight. Later the lady that helped me come to my table where I asked her for the bill. The atmosphere was very tense. The customers are the one that are suffering for the internal fighting. I blame the Wimpy's management for the tense atmosphere. I am from Port Elizabeth visiting Uitenhage as it was my old home town. Regards Hans Loenen

Good food and service is what we like.
The service was great. Both the owner and the shift manageress have the flair to make anyone feel welcome and at home. The food was presented well and tasted good. We will be going back there soon and more often.

Mr Delivery must train their delivery men the Hygienic way of handling food.
We were at a restaurant at Baywest Mall on Sunday, 13th Dec, sitting facing the door. While we were there, four Mr Delivery men entered at different times. One man sprayed his one hand and shook his hand dry. So it was half heartily but not safe. The other three men didn't spray their hands, just walked in. If that is the standard of hygiene that Mr Delivery has, then I will do as I'm doing till now, fetch my own food. People trust Mr Delivery to do things right as they handle the customers food.

Not happy
Good afternoon All, The newly store that opened this month is a nice big store. There are some bargains. Most of the goods are the normal prices. The sad then is that they closed the Metlife Centre's store which was around the corner from our suburb. The closure of Fig Tree store is also sad for my sister who lives in the old age homes and walked to Food Lovers. The other store that was closed was Food Lovers Newton Park.
