Students who use taxibus are being attacked on their way to Eduvos Midrand or they are being attacked when they leave the institution to go get a taxibus bus.Students are being attacked regularly on the same street or area but nothing is done .They are just told to file a report to the police but nothing is being done for their protection around the campus or on their way to the taxi rank.
Yeoville ,Bellevue, Kensington,Bez valley are does not have electricity for more than 3 days a week sometime worse .The loadshedding hours are not respected anymore.Everytime the electricity goes off we don't know when it is going to come back , it might take one ,two or three days .City power keep sending **** messages on when on when the electricity problem will be solved but we don't know exactly what is happening at the Sebenza station, the Bellevue and observatory station.First it was a tree that supposedly hit a cable, then a fire broke at the observatory station, then for Burned cables at the Bellevue station, there is always something wrong with these stations meanwhile businesses are being affected and other areas expecially the richest never go through such situations situations .
i own a flat at 44 page street in Princeton place ,Yeoville .the municipality did cut the water a few month ago because some residents of the building were not paying their water bills .An agreement was found . Since the first of June 2018 water has been cut from the building again even though the residents and the municipality have come to an agreements that they will pay for the water bill . now the whole building is penalized as there is no water at all .The municipality is not respecting it's deal and does not seem to care .
i am just coming form the eye clinic of the hospital .last week i wrote a letter about how elderly patients are being mistreated at the hospital . i took my father again who is 79 at the hospital , his right eye is being treated ,he does not have full vision , and he needs to get an injection in that eye regularly . we got at the hospital at around 5:30 am to get a good place in the queue , we were let in the clinic at around 7:00 we saw the first consulting doctor at 8:45 and then he sent us for an eye injection .my father received his eye injection at 15:31 pm. 7hours waiting for it and after that we had to go to the pharmacy to get prescription and we left a 16:06 pm . and the worse in all this is that it is not the first time and the manager does not care about our complaints the doctors don't care about our complaints .the most insulting thing is that the nurses have been calling the doctor to come administer the injection since 10:00 pm .and the first sight of a doctor was at around 14 :45 and she just looked at the files of the only two patients that were waiting for the injection then she left not be seen again ; then a around 15:20 the nurses and the receptionists at the eye clinic were getting ready to leave and that's the only reason they called for another doctor to come make the injection ( please not that the injection only takes less than a minute administer ) the other doctor just shrugged her shoulder and did not even give an apology or show any compassion or anything . i don't know if these people are doctors or soldiers or mercenaries . and let's not forget that all the patients receiving the injection are in their 60's , 70's and 80's . they just don't care about them .
i attend western union offices at park station in Johannesburg to receive money almost every month , well for the past 3 months their system are off line on a regular basis and it does not look like it is going to get fixed .
i called the SASSA several times this past week to get information about the changes that would take place with the Post office taking over . i the service was very good . when i called the lines were busy so i had to wait for a little while and when i got through the correspondents were polite , efficient , and the they gave me the exact information i wanted .so 10/10
i would just like to talk about how the library users have their bags and parcels searched by security at the doors when they are leaving the premises .the reason they give is that some books are being stolen even though detectors and cameras all over the place . it's really disrespectful and they don't seem to care .people who attend the library are considered as potential thieves .
i would like to talk about what the united church school in yeoville , johannesburg is doing to its foreign students . two weeks ago all foreign students who study at the school were chased by the principal and they were told that they would receive an expulsion letter ; because they do not have proper documentation . apparently they said that such action were authorized by the department of home affairs .let me precise that those said students have been studying at that school for years so some of the parents contacted the home affairs offices and to their surprise it is not allowed to chase students for improper documentation . the parents of the students have been working to get good documentation for their children they are not living in south Africa illegally ;some get road blocked by the department of home affairs . but the principal of the school does not want to hear any of it .and some of the students have been expelled or are waiting to be expelled from he school .
my name is Patrice , i am currently living in Johannesburg ,i would like to give information about the way some doctors and nurses at the eye clinic at the CHARLOTTE MAXEKE general hospital are mistreating elderly patients . my father is 79 and he is diabetic and suffering from a receding vision to the right eye , every 2 or 3 months i have to take him to the hospital , and when his eye tests are extremely bad the consulting doctor usually send him for an eye injection ; this is where the nightmare begins for him and other elderly patients . they have to wait for 5 sometimes 6 hours to get the eye injection that only take less than a minute to administer . most of the patient are in their 60's and 70's and apart from their old age and receding vision ; some of them suffer from diabetes or are overweight or have other sicknesses and yet they have wait for hours ,the doctors just don't seem to care about that ,sometimes we have to insist and plead with the nurses to get hold of the doctor who is in charge of administering the injection , to this day the problem has never been solved . so just imagine 60 ant 70 years old people reaching the hospital at around 5:00 or 5:30 to get a good place on the queue before the eye clinic opens and they have to wait until 8:00 , that's the time they usually get in . then for those who were early they get to meet the consulting doctor at around 8:45 .then for those who have to get an eye injection , they have to wait until 12:30 if they are lucky .usually it goes to 13:00 and 14:00 without counting the time they have to spend at the pharmacy if they have prescriptions . and the doctors just say they are busy with other patients and the elderly are left in some cold waiting room for hours . this is why i am contacting your newspaper in order to bring this in the attention of the public because no one seems to care one of the nurses i questioned about the waiting time told me that it didn't matter if it was upsetting or not that's the way things work at the eye clinic and i should never question that .same thing for the doctors . please can you have an eye on this . regards
