Total Humansdorp (CBF Management) – 3 Weeks of Delays, Zero Accountability, and a Brand-New Vehicle Damaged
I am submitting this complaint regarding the unacceptable conduct of the TotalEnergies Humansdorp filling station in the Kouga Municipality, Eastern Cape, which operates under the management of CBF and branch manager Johan Esterhuizen. My brand‑new bakkie has now been standing at Kelston for three weeks due to water‑contaminated diesel supp**** by this station. Instead of resolving the matter urgently, CBF is dragging their feet, delaying payment, and now even questioning why my own insurance cannot cover the damage, despite the fact that: This was not my accident Not my negligence Not my fault in any way The contamination originated 100% from their pumps This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. CBF has already acknowledged that there was water in the diesel, and it is widely known that around 50 vehicles have been damaged by this same incident. Yet they continue to delay, avoid accountability, and shift blame onto innocent customers who trusted the Total brand. Key facts: I filled R500 diesel on 6 May 2026 at the same station. I filled up again on 8 May, after which my vehicle failed. CBF admitted there was water contamination. My vehicle is less than four months old, bought new, and still under full warranty. The repairs must follow manufacturer standards, this is not negotiable. Kelston and I are now suffering the consequences of a problem caused solely by CBF. Whether the diesel “dipped clean” after the tanks were flushed is irrelevant. The contamination clearly originated from this station, and it remains entirely possible that water‑contaminated diesel remained in the pump lines or supply system. CBF failed to verify that the diesel from the pump itself was tested and confirmed clean before resuming sales. Impact on my life: This situation has caused major disruption to my household. I have daily responsibilities, meetings, and children who must be transported. I am currently stranded during the day and must walk to get my children to school. While I appreciate that the branch manager offered his personal vehicle, this is not a sustainable or fair solution, it merely shifts the problem instead of resolving it. What I am requesting: I am formally requesting that CBF immediately pay the required deposit to Kelston so that repairs can proceed — even if the company must temporarily carry the cost and recover it from insurance later. We have had a long‑planned trip to the Karoo at the end of May, and my bakkie is essential for this. It is not acceptable that my plans must be cancelled due to negligence by CBF. TotalEnergies’ reputation is being damaged This incident is dragging the name of TotalEnergies, a respected global brand, through the mud because of the poor management and lack of accountability from a local operator. I am requesting urgent intervention from TotalEnergies South Africa to ensure that this matter is resolved without any further delay.

Request for Assistance: Contract Cover Beneficiary Details
I have contract cover on all my Vodacom contracts. According to the Cover Insurance policy, an additional payout of R5 000 will be made to a beneficiary of my choice. Since 09:00 this morning (it’s now 11:53), I’ve been trying to find out who my current beneficiaries are on each contract, as I may want to update them. I keep getting transferred from one person to the next, and some of the numbers I was given only lead to the TOBi automated system. I urgently need someone from the correct department to contact me regarding the contract cover so that I can sort this out. Thank you.

Urgent Request for Credit Bureau Update
I’m writing to formally dispute the recent listing of my account with the credit bureau. Although my payment was a few days late, it was still made within the same calendar month. It is my understanding that accounts are only reported to the credit bureau when they are a full month overdue, which was not the case here. This listing is both premature and unjustified, and it negatively impacts my credit status. I respectfully request that this be corrected and removed from my record as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tracker Debit Dispute: No Consent, No Service, No Device
I am absolutely furious, and I will be escalating this matter. My bank account has been debited by Tracker, despite the fact that I have never requested any services from them, never shared my banking details with them, and do not have a Tracker device installed in any of my vehicles. This is a clear case of *****. I demand that Tracker contact me urgently to resolve this issue.

Unauthorized Debit Orders from Tracker
Dear FNB Customer Support, I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a recurring issue that remains unresolved, despite previous complaints and assurances from your team. For the second time, my account has been debited by Tracker—an entity with whom I have never had any contact, nor authorized to install any system in my vehicles. Last month, an amount of R291.87 was withdrawn, and again this month, R550.87. Notably, the original debit of R199.00 was declined, yet subsequent amounts were still processed. This raises serious questions about the integrity of your debit order processing system. How are unauthorized mandates being approved, and why are debit orders from unaffiliated companies still being allowed—especially after I was explicitly assured that these would be blocked? I comp**** with your request last month to submit an affidavit from the police station, confirming the unauthorized nature of these transactions (I have submitted this affidavit on the FNB app). Despite this, the issue persists. This is not an isolated incident. It forms part of a string of complaints I’ve raised over the past three months, and the lack of consistent resolution is both frustrating and unacceptable. I am now forced to ask: what is going wrong with FNB’s systems and oversight? I urgently request a full investigation into this matter, immediate reversal of the unauthorized debits, and confirmation that no further transactions from Tracker will be permitted on my account. I trust you will treat this with the seriousness it deserves. Sincerely,

Unsolved account issue
I am once again reaching out as my account issue remains unresolved. I was contacted by a representative regarding the matter, and she assured me that everything was up to date and fully settled. However, I was surprised to see that a loan arrangement amount was still deducted along with my regular installment AGAIN. This is concerning, as I had already paid the arrangement amount in full, and according to the representative, there were no outstanding balances. I would appreciate a prompt explanation for this deduction and immediate correction of any errors.

Urgent Concern: Closure of My Daughters’ Accounts Without Notice & Unauthorized Debits and DebiCheck Mandates
1st. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the unexpected closure of the two accounts I opened for my daughters. When I attempted to transfer funds, I was informed that both accounts were closed due to inactivity and that I now need to visit a branch to have them reopened - which is not possible at this stage. At no point was I notified that the accounts were at risk of closure. This lack of communication is not only unacceptable but has caused significant inconvenience. My daughters are currently on holiday with their father, and I had promised to send them money—a promise I am now unable to fulfill because of this oversight. It is simply unreasonable to close accounts without providing prior notice to the account holder. I urgently request an explanation for this process and a resolution that will allow me to access these accounts without delay. 2nd.I am deeply concerned about yet another issue affecting my account. Despite rejecting a DebiCheck mandate from Tracker — a company I have never contacted nor authorized to install any system in my vehicles — an amount of R291.87 was still debited from my account. The original installment of R199.00 was clearly declined, yet the debit still occurred. Furthermore, I’ve noticed that FNBLife appears as an active mandate together with Tracker, even though I did not initiate or approve this either. This raises serious questions about how unauthorized mandates and debits are being processed. How can FNB continue to allow debit orders from entities I’ve not agreed to engage with? I urgently request that this matter be thoroughly investigated and resolved. This is part of a string of complaints I’ve raised over the past three months, and the lack of consistent resolution is unacceptable. What is going on with FNB’s systems and oversight? I expect a prompt and transparent response, along with a clear plan to rectify these recurring issues. I look forward to your prompt and constructive response.

Urgent Assistance Required – Personal Loan Debit Order Issue
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my personal loan account, as my previous attempts to resolve this issue through Hello Peter and your online chat support have yielded no results. In April, I consolidated all my FNB personal loans into one, with my debit order scheduled to go off on the 25th of each month, as per my request. However, the first deduction did not occur as expected, which led me to assume that FNB had app**** the common practice of skipping the first installment on a new loan. Without prior notice, my debit order date was changed from the 25th to the 5th of each month, and the first deduction was unexpectedly processed on 5 May. Since I had budgeted for payment on 25 April, I had already used the funds intended for the installment. After being contacted by an FNB representative, I was assured that my debit order would be changed back to the 25th, and I made arrangements to settle the arrears accordingly. However, when 25 May arrived, no debit order was processed. I waited until 5 June, and again, nothing was deducted. In my attempts to seek clarity, I reached out via your online chat platform, only to be passed from one agent to another with no resolution. As of today, my debit order has still not gone off, leaving me uncertain about the status of my loan account. To prevent further complications, I decided to use the funds allocated for the installment to settle the arrears. However, I need immediate clarification and a definitive solution, as I do not want this issue to affect my credit rating—especially when the error lies with the bank. I request urgent feedback on this matter, including confirmation of my correct debit order date and assurance that my account is in good standing. Looking forward to your prompt response.
