I bought a kettle and an iron at the Alberton branch in October 2025, the iron was faulty and I took it back to the store. I was told they have to take it for repairs. Everytime I call or go to the store, I am told they haven't heard back from the repairs. It's January 2026, and still no word from them since 3 months ago. I STILL DONT HAVE AN IRON, and they refuse to give me my money back, how is that fair!? It's not my fault that their iron was faulty!!
Two weeks ago I gave Metro Fibre a good review for resolving my issue. But the same issue keeps re-occurring. I started using it in October and It’s the 3rd time I’m experiencing an issue where I am unable to connect to my work’s vpn. I work from home and I’m paying for internet but I’m forced to go to work or use my mobile date because it’s not working as it should at home. The first 2 times it was resolved quickly, but now it’s been days and they take forever to respond to me. Now my internet doesn’t work properly on my phone as well, I have to use my mobile data there too! I’ve never experienced such an issue with other wifi and fibres. They can’t even tell me what is causing it and why it can’t be fixed permanently! I honestly wouldn’t recommend metro fibre to anyone!
I had an extremely frustrating experience with mvia regarding my service claims. Their lack of responsiveness is unacceptable; they rarely reply to the dealership’s emails unless I personally call to follow up, and even then, their responses are often delayed. My car has routinely stayed at the dealership for two or more days due to their inefficiencies. Calling mvia is a nightmare. I have found myself as caller number 15 in line, waiting nearly 20 minutes just to speak with someone. They have informed me that certain services aren’t covered by my plan, and even for the services that are, they don’t cover everything. Despite paying my policy monthly, I am often left footing part of the bill because they refuse to pay. I genuinely regret choosing mvia, and I will never recommend them to anyone. The entire experience has been a total disaster, and I am very relieved that I no longer have to deal with them ever again!!!

This is the worst service plan ever! I have been paying my premiums well with no problems, and months later when I take my car in for service (MVIA's intended purpose) it took 4 whole days before I could get my car back, and the dealership kept asking me to call MVIA to find out why they taking long to respond, to give authorisation and to release the payment. I had never been so frustrated when taking my car in for service. ON TOP OF THAT they don't pay for MOST of the things that were serviced and I had to pay a huge amount of money that I didn't budget for (because I assumed my service plan would pay for it) to get my car back, it was a mess. Even the lady at the dealership was highly frustrated as well. And when cancelling there is also a ridiculous amount of money that they want before you can cancel. I really wish I had read the reviews first before agreeing to join MVIA! I will never recommend it to anyone!
I've been a client for years, but there is no communication from beam-e, besides the invoices from Mix telematics, and they increased the price without letting me know, I only saw it on the invoice. I recently called to cancel and I was told to send an email to their cancellation email which they gave me. I sent it on the 29the Sep 2022 and there was no response, I followed up on the 9th Sept 2022, and still nothing. on the 28th Oct 2022, when I requested a callback, I was sent an email instead and the person told me they don't deal with beam-e and gave me that same useless email that they don't respond to! I'm very frustrated with Beam-e!
Malcolm Poole managed to convince me not to cancel my policy and highlighted the extra benefits I am getting that I might not get from other insurers, and he also reduced my premium, which was a great help.

I am very unhappy with the customer service I received! They are so impersonal, no one called me, and i had to keep trying to reach them the whole time. After logging a claim, I was called by someone who later told me my claim is rejected, and said he would send an email and also his manager's details, but he never sent me anything. The next day I tried calling and the lines were very busy so I sent an email to the email address provided on the site. They responded asking for my ID number to find my policy, after sending it to them, they never got back to me. The next day again I replied to that email that I am still waiting for their response, all they did was to send me an email stating that my claim was rejected and that my policy will be cancelled. I then called them to asked them to get someone to call me so I can ask the relevant questions and also for them to explain why my policy is cancelled without my request. AGAIN, no one got back to me! After speaking to Guardrisk about it, they said I should sent an email to disputes, which i did, and they too did not respond!!! This is highly frustrating, considering I have been paying well for so many years, and this is the treatment I get from them.
