I ordered Christmas gifts for my 5 year old and 2 year old grandchildren as well as my daughter, their Mother on 16 December and made sure that everything I ordered was in stock in Cape Town so there would be no delays in delivery. Delivery was confirmed on 23 December. That date did not change on the app but come the 23rd December the items still showed not yet shipped so I called Takealot customer care to find out what the delay was. Apparently one of the items I ordered was not in stock and was holding up the whole order. Takealot put the blaim on me for not phoning to split the order well how was I supposed to know that something that was in stock when I ordered it was suddenly not in stock anymore. Now the delivery date has changed to 29th December. How am I supposed to tell my Grandchildren that they won't have any Christmas gifts on Christmas morning 😞and all they can say is sorry for the inconveniences 😡
On Thursday 10 October I accidentally made a payment into Ampath's account that was meant for another company with a similar name, that was my mistake I admit that. When the other company called me on Saturday to ask were their payment was I realized my mistake. First thing on Monday morning I contacted Ampath to ask for a refund. I was email a refund form and copy of the proof of payment that I would have to email to refunds@ampath.co.za, and my refund would be processed within 24 to 48 hours. I did this all before 10H30. On Wednesday October 16 I called the accounts department to follow up and my refund refund and it had never even been processed yet. I was lucky enough to get through to a very helpful lady in the accounts department that asked me to resend the documents to her and she called me back to let me know that she had sent it over to the banking department marked as urgent and still no refund. Funny when you owe Ampath money they call you a couple of times a day everyday but my phone blocked them as spam so I never took the call and then they started harassing my daughter. When I called them to ask what the problem was I was told that I had an outstanding bill but I never received the bill because they had the wrong email address for me. When I got the bill I paid it. Now that they owe me money it's a whole different story now I am the one phoning and phoning. It almost a week later and I have still not received my money back.
Once again for the second time in as many months I have been left embarrassed in a retail shop when my Tyme bank card was declined. I checked my balance and the money was available so I drove to a ATM to draw money and that was declined too. I can't even use my banking app either. When contacting customer care O was told "we are experiencing a technical problems" well Tyme bank you are becoming one big technical error after another. I closed my account.
I wrote a review on Take a lot two weeks ago when the delivered a box of junk instead of a R2000 office chair well here is the update. A supervisor from Take alot Caryn (a lovely Lady) reached out to me and after looking over the photos I sent her, agreed that I had a valid claim for the box of junk to be returned and an actual chair to be sent to me. She logged it at the highest priority and as an exception so that there would be no questions asked at the warehouse well guess what.........some idiot at the warehouse did not even bother to read the email sent to him and just decided to reject the return as not meeting criteria. On contacting the returns customer care again, I was told that the chair was in stock and they will get it sorted out for me. Well the box of junk is back on its way to me, so now I have to lodge a other return, wait for it to be te-collected and hopefully then I might get the chair I paid for almost a month ago. You would think that a big business like Take a Lot would have compitent warehouse staff that can read and follow simple instructions but no.........I think that is the problem they are two big and don't care anymore.......
I placed a R8000 order with Take a lot for office equipment including a office chair that cost almost R2000. The order arrived today and on opening the box that the chair was in I found that the frame of the chair was missing the base was scratched with no instructions manual as how to assemble the chair (not that that would have helped with the parts that were missing) it looks like they took spare parts of a chair threw it into a box and delivered it to me. I contacted customer care just to be told that my complaint would be escalated to the warehouse but they had no idea when I would receive a replacement chair. That is total unacceptable I need my office up and running by Friday as I am a vertual assistant for an insurance company in the USA and that is the deadline that I have been given.
Please please don't waste your time downloading this app. It is a ******* and does not deliver what it says it will. You will be waisting your money!!!!!!! Yes they have thousands of movies on their app but you are lucky if one out of a hundred are available to watch!!!!!!! When the app was first launched it was very good but clearly they have made their money and are no longer interested in supplying a service anymore. My daughter has been waiting for Barbie the movie promised to be available on this app and months after the release it is still not available!!!!! and when you do find something to watch the audio and video are NEVER synchronised!!!!!!!!Please don't make these con artists any richer by subscribing to this phoney app. The only thing I got out of all of this is a new appreciation for NetFlix
My daughter ordered a Mother's day surprise for me on the 4th Of May 2023 through Netflorest and I am still waiting for it. Granted the Netflorest app did say because I like on the West Coast I would only receive my gifts on the 16th but today is the 22nd? I received my flowers on Friday the 19th but the sweet and chocolate gift basket has never been delivered. I received SMS messages from DawnWing Couriers on the 17th, 18th and19th, to say that they would be delivering a parcel from Netflorest (NF114089926) but they never arrived and then on the 20th they sent me a SMS saying that the parcel was undeliverable. I then contacted netflorest on their customer care line on Saturday the 20th just after 11h00am and a gentleman there told me that he was going to follow up with the courier and get back to me. It is now Monday the 22nd @15h56 and he has still not gotten back to me and I am none the wiser as to where my Mother's day surprise is☹️
I was scammed out of R4000:by Kitten cattery shop today after enquiring about buying a Main **** Kitten advertised on their web site. They use cell phone number 0735045313 and email address sales@kittencatteryshop.co.za. I was sent a Tax Invoice and I paid for my non existent kitten into a FNB account no: 63940552575. PLEASE DONT USE THeM IT IS A PET SCAM
I have had a savings account with Absa Bank for over twenty years and being unemployed for the last year there have been very few transactions but yet Absa always charge exorbitant service fees when avfriend or family member send me a little money to help me cope. My Brother sent me R15 000 for a procedure that I urgently needed done I went into the Absa Branch Festival mall to draw R 14 000 cash and Absa charged me R 388 service fee!!!!!!!! on a savings account for drawing my own money !!!!!!For an unemployed person R 388 is a lot of money!!!!! That come could have fed my family for a week!!!!!! I want that money back!!!!!!!
I only have a savings account with Absa for over 20 years. My brother paid in R15 000 for a procedure that I needed done urgently and as I have been unemployed since May 2020 due to the pandemic my bank account has been pretty empty. I went into the bank to draw R14 000 and was beyond schocjed by the R388 service fee that I was charged!!!!!!!! I decided to check on the other fees I have been charged just from the 1st May 2021 I can understand the R29 Internet banking fee but I have also been charged for transaction fees of R4,00 5 times when there was no money in the account so what transactions could have taken place? Then there are 4x recovery transaction charges of R 4.00 on top of the transaction charges on a empty account that had no transactions so in total I have lost R 424.00 in the last 3 days!!!!!!! That could feed my family for a week!!!!!! I want this money back!!!!!!
