Rented a car on holiday in Cape Town in October. Car was faulty and was changed two days later - I got charged for the refueling of both cars, as they delivered it to me.. I decided not to say anything. 2 Months later get charged R400 for a fine, that they first said was in the Eastern Cape, then later changed their story that is was in the Cape, but not an area I was in. I contacted the authority, and the fine was already paid by someone else. They refused to even consider that this is an error on their side. I requested proof that this fine was for me, and all I got was threats. Instead of helping they handed me over to a dent collected. To protect my credit I decided to pay.
Just look at their stock standard copy and paste response to all the reviews and you will know they are only interested in your money. Marquis finance is the worst financing company I have dealt with in 30 years of owning cars. They are never available, and extremely inflexible. I had to settle my car earlier due to relocation and the were fast to charge me R13k penalty. They did not even respond to any of my requests for a review. Now they owe me R8k with long stories - THEIR OWN statement is showing the amount owing.
I transfer my Discovery Card from FNB to Discovery bank, what a mistake! I was offered a Black card, but received a platinum card ( not the end of the world). They mistakenly loaded the full banking suite of products instead of the card only, at 3 times the cost. I spoke to them on the 26th of Sep, and they promised feedback by the end of the day, this never happened. Today, 7 October I called them again, only to be told that this is still ongoing, and that they might not be able to downgrade my account. SO the result is that I decided to close my account, meaning I will be paying for my apple watch myself - but it is worth it. I wonder how long I will need to wait for that to happen.
I've been a Makro customer for many years, most of my household items came from them. Yesterday I went to Makro to get a gas braai and saw one that I liked. While waiting for the sales person I searched online and found the same model at R 1,000 cheaper, at the well known hardware store - R8,9990 to R7,990. I showed the sales person who tried to speak to her manager but I was told that " we are not Game, we do not meet prices". So I left and got the cheaper one. I guess in future I will rather go shop at Game then

I bought my Pentair Dominator in Dec 2017. In July 2018 it started spinning in place, took it the pool shop and the guy said the weak point it that the gears in the wheel strip. Sent it in, and I was quoted R600 for the repair, when I mentioned the warranty I was asked if I want it repaired or not. I wanted it repaired so I told them to go ahead. It is now the end of October 2018. I still don't have my Dominator, or even a date when I will have the unit back.
I am receiving sms's on a weekly basis addressed to a Miss Moeng to pay her TV licence. I have called them on many occasions to inform them that I am not miss Moeng, and each time they will remove my number from this account. Got an sms again today. Please go ahead with your threat and sue Miss Moeng... I AM NOT HER!
I placed and order with Telkom on 10213 to upgrade my ADSL line mid February, and have been following up every week. Every week I have been told that there is a problem and it will be completed in 2 to 3 working days. Today I called.. again.....and after going through the whole process and confirming all my details and being able to look at the order...I was told the system is down.
