Intellichlor Salt Chlorine Generator IC40 lasts 12x months, then needs replacing, as the warranty on the electrode is only 12x months and the only viable option is to replace the entire unit at R22k (as the electrode is R21k to replace), this would have been my 3rd replacement in 24x months

Infinity Pool Specialists supplies pentair products. So i bought a Pentair Chlorinator for over 10k and had it installed in OCT 22. In Dec it stopped working Infinity pools then replaced this unit since it have a 1 year Guarantee. In Feb 23 it stopped working again, which is the second new unit which one can assume should carry another year guarantee since it is new. Now the blame game starts whereby Infinity blame the manufacturer Pentair? Pentair blames load shedding, when i have a off grid solar system and load shedding and power spikes don't effect us? My biggest frustration is that Infinity sells products and when there is an issue they walk away and refer you to the manufacturer? Surely this is not normal? If i sell the product surely i sort out the warranty? I did not buy this from the manufacturer i bought it from them, how do they just walk away from this? Anyway i have been trying to resolve this since Feb, best is i am talking to the receptionist as the owner who made the money with my purchase has now disappeared! If you use them get ready for disappointment! Infinity Pool Specialists

Don't ever buy a pentair dominator. No wonder they have to sell 'tune up kits' (that cost more than a regular kreepy) online. It is plastic. Seems likes it's made in China. Nothing in it is metal except the *****s and two springs. It doesn't last. Works for about 3 months. Then it slows down and all the parts break. Even the springs inside. Rip'off! Will take you more time to fix - than what you spend time inside the pool. Very expensive to buy as it looks 'fancy' but it's a cheap piece of plastic, with a few plastic parts inside, that doesn't last.

No stars. Poor after sales service ,spares and customer care. Every pool retailer talks about no visit from rep availability of spares as well as high cost to customer. even head office in USA does not answer or replt to emails.

I bought my Pentair Dominator in Dec 2017. In July 2018 it started spinning in place, took it the pool shop and the guy said the weak point it that the gears in the wheel strip. Sent it in, and I was quoted R600 for the repair, when I mentioned the warranty I was asked if I want it repaired or not. I wanted it repaired so I told them to go ahead. It is now the end of October 2018. I still don't have my Dominator, or even a date when I will have the unit back.

I have experienced the same problem as other reviewers have indicated. I used to have a Bullshark kreepy krauly after 4 years of good service from the machine i went to makro germiston to purchase a new one and asked the salesman for the Bullshark, I checked the box and it said Bullshark. The machine is useless and constantly on its back or stuck in a corner. I realized the design was completely different to my previous Bullshark, took it back to makro they said i must take it up with Kreep Krauly. After speaking to Pentair (Ginger) the truth comes out. The machine i actually purchased if you check Pentairs website is a "sand shark" but the box says Bullshark Pro, the machine i had before was a Bullshark ..... wait for it.... Cruiser. How do you sell a Sand Shark as a Bullshark Pro? This is the biggest mislead i have seen from a company and branding and selling of products under different names. Pentair i will gladly donate the machine back to you as a gift i know its after Xmas, please send address and i will get my driver to drop it off, please send name of person at your establishment that you would like to donate it to. Regards, Paulo

BEWARE OF PENTAIR / KREEPY KRAULY Bad service from Pentair Kempton Park ********** 177. Service rep. Ginger, will not give you an opportunity to present your problem, she just keeps on talking and never stops. I bought a Kreepy Krauly product, (Bullshark Pro) This thing can not operate without supervision. It will turn on it's back and stay like that. Their field service rep. by the name of James came to my premises and first hand experienced exactly what my complaint is about. He took the piece of rubbish to their office for inspection and returned it two weeks later, after I had to question them about returning that thing. The problem still exist.
