Defective bath items were delivered with my order placed in July 2025 (Order No. G227320740). The replacements I received at the beginning of October 2025 were also defective. I logged a complaint on 13 October 2025, but to date, I have not received any response. I am still left with damaged baths that have been fully paid for. There seems to be no sense of urgency in addressing this matter.
Booked at 20 Pendleberry Holiday Resort for one night, 29 to 30 June 2024 for my son's birthday vacation. The place was neat, comfortable beds, well furnished kitchen, fridge with Ice, microwave and all the necessary utensils. There is also a braai area and kids play area which we did not utilise due to our short visit period. The place consisted of two bedrooms with a double bed each, a bunkbed (two people), one upper floor open room with two single beds. This was more that sufficient for the 4 kids and two adults (myself and my brother). Thank you for the hospitality, keep it and take good care of the place. The place is well located near Warmbath Forever Resort / Aventura and other ameneties. We booked via Bookings.com ref 4352484928.

The treatment I received due to a discrepancy between the surname on my driver’s license and the one on my ID was like I'm a ********. Despite providing the booking confirmation SMS from my cellphone, it was disregarded. I was asked to sign a refusal to comply form and had to wait for about 30 minutes after a long drive from Pretoria. The lack of effort to resolve the issue was evident as the Manager insisted that signing the refusal to comply form was the only solution. This demonstrated an unwillingness to explore other possible solutions, such as sending an electronic ID copy, as advised by the Departmental Travel Agent. I stayed in many hotels (Premier, Garden, Southern Sun, Manhattan etc.) and used the same drivers license with providing the ID and was checked in smoothly because my ID number is still the same despite change of surnames.
I brought my new subsidised bakkie for fitment of accessories (canopy, nudge bar and window tinting). I was called at around 12:30 that the fitting was done and car was ready. I arrived at 13:50 collected the car, started hearing sound of loose parts when driving less than a km out of the workshop. I went back and with little care I was referred to the workshop team that did the fitting to drive with one of them of which I did. Upon this first return , it was discovered that the left rear light was not fastened and the canopy was misaligned. They "rectified" and informed that they have completed and I left with no communication/explanation/apology from Management. I realized that the sounds are still there upon driving out a short distance and returned for the second time. Still the Management did the same thing, this time the team identified that 3 nuts were not fastened on the nudge bar. I left after the team informing that they were done and are confident that the problem is resolved. I realized that the problem is not resolved because the sound is still there but decided not to go back anymore as they were wasting my time. There is bad service here especially when you are black. Attention is given to white race customers and blacks are treated like they are there to ask for a job.
I have cancelled my contract over a phonecall on the 20/11/2023 at 15:03, number 0821958, where my contract was immediately changed to a low premium as advised by the Vodacom consultant. However, I was still debited the the original contract amount of R341 for December 2023 of which I reversed on my bank app. Vodacom is now sending me endless nonsensical smses asking for payment. They are not responding to my emails or just ignoring them. They are actually making it difficult to cancel the contract with them.
I bought an ebook and now unable to access it because I am no longer using the same cellphone number I registered with and they are making it impossible to access the account. Not helpful at all.
Brake pads service was done on the 31/08/2023, however the detail diagnostic report showing the work done and outstanding work was never provided supposedly due to the system being down, as informed by Phillip. I have made numerous follow-ups on this report without any response from Mercedes Fountain team. There was noise coming front the wheels of which I have recently learnt that there is a loose brake pad which is moving around freely. I immediately reported the matter however, there is no sense of urgency because of no response to date. I just saw this yesterday as the noise was now very loud and unbearable, meaning more than 2000kms, from Pretoria to Eastern Cape and around Eastern Cape. This is a risk and Mercedes Benz Fountains is gambling with my life.
I had a complaint regarding the double bet of R3k, which resulted in double loss. I posted the complaint on Helopeter, FB, Twitter on the 27/01/2023 after a failed phonecall with a call agent, Masego, who rudely dropped my call after failing to address my complaint. I then recieved call from Tony from Betway on the 30/01/2023, who genuinely listened to my complaint and vowed to investgate and revert. Tony called again on the 01/02/2023 with the resolution that the second bet will be reversed. I can confirm that the Bet was reversed back into my Betway account and I am greatful for the swift resolution. The 1-star missing is due to the rude conduct of Masego, the Agent who claimed that he did not know the gender of his Manager.
I made a bet of R3k yesterday 26/01/2023 at 17:29 and the betway dashboard did not show it, as the balance remained the same. I therefore bet again because obviously because of the fact that the bet did not go through as it is not reflecting. Today, 27/01/2023, I tried to make a bet and realised that my balance is short of R3k, upon calling checking transactions, I saw that the transaction which did not reflect is now reflecting and deducted another R3k. I then called this number 0861787250, and spoke to a male person by the name of Masego, who rudely informed me that I will not get my money back just before hanging up on me. This is the worst experience of my life , for losing my hard earned money for nothing. Please be careful of this Betway SCAM and stay away from it. Account 0714288413. This Masego chap, blantaly refused to direct my call to his Manager, who he claims, he does not even know the gender. I will keep calling and fight to get my money back. This type of fraudulent businesses must have no place in this country.
