Horrible support call center that is not there to deal with technical issues, anything other than providing PPPOE details they have to escalate to 2nd level support and tickets are useless (ordered fibre in August, installed in September, still inactive in October). I bought at checkers a few times now and have received numoerous calls from Platinum life and other call centres saying a manager at Checkers Waverley by the name of "Hennie Coetzer" gave them my number? I do now know a Hennie Coetzer and would love to find out why my number is being shared as a customer of the store? PS: when you share a number with Platinum Life, they send you a gift in return for the referral. WTH Checkers??

A few months before covid-lockdown I entered into contract with Planet Fitness Queenswood. The joining experience was great, used the gym for a few months, then I got an email saying my contract has automatically been extended (due to them not charging for membership while the gym was closed). I didn't return to the gym, found the manager at the entrance of the gym and asked how do I go about cancelling membership, to which he replied I can't, I have to pay the full contract duration. I told him that I am moving to Koster, North West, a place that they do not have any facilities at - he didn't seem to care and just left. 3 months thereafter I got a sms that my account has been handed over to a collection agency. I told them I would like to settle, but only if they cancel all membership, this was agreed upon. I paid R500 a month for a few months and then they stopped sending me statements. I received a statement after one of the collection agents phoned me asking why I didn't pay, I told her that to my surprise, the amount was increasing monthly, even with me paying the settlement? I owed R3660.00 at that time, I haven't received a statement to date. A week ago I get an sms from Lanau Attorneys saying my balance is R14'000.00 and that they have issued a collection notice??? Please, for the love of everything that is beautiful, STAY away from these corrupt people.
I have been a customer of Mweb for the past 4 months. I bought the 100mb/s upload and 100mb/s download package. This is how it went thus far. Wonderpark Soviet had a sale on shoes and clothing on 05/07/2020, I bought a pair of mustard coloured sneakers and a jacket, wore them to work today, and they started to tear at the sole after barely 2 hours of wear. I phoned them , very friendly, asking me to come in, when I got there I was asked if I saw the (No Exchanges or Refunds) sign behind the kiosk - what the actual hell? I drove 17km (25 minutes) and this is the service I receive?? PATHETIC!! Funny how they quote the Consumer Protection act, while nitpicking what applies...
KFC Waverley had me waiting over 45 minutes at the drivethru, told me to park, and they'll bring the order to the car. 48 minutes later the cashier came to the car and told me someone else collected my order at the counter. I asked what they will be doing about it, and got the reply, that I had to come back when the manager was there....... Pathetic
