Our Samsung washing machine was repaired by them, for quite a sum of money and it broke down, within the 3mnth warranty period. The technician inspecting the issue at our home, acknowledged that it was part of their previous repairs and should be repaired free of charge, against the warranty. Was reasonably happy so far, as I realise that parts used, might've been inferior, so as long as they replaced it free of charge, it would cost us inconvenience only. However, TWO WEEKS later, we were still waiting, to have the faulty bearing replaced. My wife followed up several times and every time it was, "waiting on the part" etc. I got annoyed and wrote an email to the address supp****, demanding action, as well as a reset of the warranty period, which by now, has expired. NO REPLY on the email, BUT miraculously, the machine was delivered, later the same afternoon!! I loaded a bundle of washing, which by this time, has grown fairly large. Low and behold, doesn't the EXACT SAME noise not shout out at me, on FIRST USE! This was reported to them first thing, after the weekend, which has since started... They agreed to come and collect it soon, as (obviously) something was not right...my wife played them a video to illustrate... Twice have they made arrangements to come and collect the machine again and every time, I purposely stayed HOME ALL THE TIME, so as not to inconvenience them, but we're STILL WAITING. Of course NO CONTACT from them to make alternative arrangements, or anything; I was only sitting at home like an idiot, for nothing... Must admit, that reading other people's experiences with them, I don't have much faith, that the issue will eventually be sorted out, amicably. Most certainly will NOT recommend their services to anybody...
Marketing & distributing amongst the best oils available in South Africa. Management & personnel always friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Order online too, for safe courier distribution Country-wide. Of course it's better to visit in person, if at all possible AND visit their fairly new boma at Killarney International Raceway!
What appear to be happening to " quite a few Standard Bank Clients" lately (according to video clips) is that we are being de*****ed by personnel, from the Bank's own ***** dept! Won't bore you with all the details, but mine happened MORE than two months ago already and no amount of follow-up I've done, has resulted in ANY feedback whatsoever! I visited the Tygervallei Branch today, to register an official complaint with the Branch Manager (according to the Bank's instructions), as I wanted to go straight to the Ombudsman! Sticking to the set rules, I waited patiently for an opportunity to state my case and hopefully get results...sadly, not to be... Twenty minutes after the so-called Manager, who apparently was on the premises, was supposed to return from her "lunch" (that was at 15h30!), I decided to leave. I plan to try another Branch tomorrow, to see if I may have more joy.
I'd like to recommend said Business, for well above average, service. Apart from friendly and excellent service, over the counter, the personel stand out, head and shoulders, above most other businesses, because they RETURN CALLS and FOLLOW-UP with clients, when out-of-stock situations occasionally, occur. They will also endeavour to squeeze the last bit of life, from a refillable cartridge, instead of being quick, to sell a new replacement!
Our pet dog, recently had to be put down with cancer, after a few months' treatment by the Dr Mills of this hospital/clinic. We ended up at this venue, after several unpleasant experiences at/with other veterinaries. So glad that we were referred to them, because despite the fact that they were absolutely professional in their conduct , they are also human and knew very well what trauma the dog, as well as us, as a family were going through. What I appreciate much, is that the doctor NEVER used our sadness about the condition of our dog, to make money from us; he offered ALL options available to us. NOT what we experienced with our businesses, who really miked us, in a similar situation, in the past. They even sent us a card of condolences, signed by all the personnel! If you love your pet, take them to Goedemoed in Durbanville, for the best treatment! I traveled all the way form Bellville and it was worth it!
Turfmaster in Bellville, repaired my electric lawnmower (home use), in no time, after they informed me upfront, that they only really worked on Industrial Equipment. They also didn't charge me an arm-&-a-leg, for repairs I could've done myself, but didn't have the tools for. My only criticism is that they went ahead with repairs, after they promised me a quotation, so I was more or less forced, to pay the bill. As it wasn't such a large amount, it wasn't really big deal, more the principle of the matter. The machine was also delivered back to me, as dirty as I supplied it to them, but again, I'm not throwing stones, because they helped me out. Personnel was friendly AND phoned me back as promised!! All round very positive experience.
I agree that you "cannot sell" your points, you have to "give them away" after paying a small fortune for them. Due to clever business strategy, points once bought, become next to worthless in the secondhand market.... Levies have become un-affordable for me as pensioner, now that I could really enjoy the bag full of points, I've been suckered to buy. So, I'm forced to "give my points away", to get out of this ridiculous levy...
Said Company write competitions as part of Marketing Campaigns. During '17 they offered amongst others, a BMW car, as a prize, in a competition for Reboost Energy drink. Several days ago I received a similar offer, also about Reboost, but this time offering an Audi A3 Sedan. To enter the competion, yyou obviously have to buy a can of Reboost, find the special number, under the ring of the can (so you have to open it) and phone it through to *120*12215# The only number punched under the ring, I could ever find, was '22' and when I entered that number, I git a message saying, "invalid number"; not wrong number, but INVALID! I've tried to get in touch with the Company via various email addresses and even via the Internet. Most of the addresses do not exist anymore and those that do exist, are ignoring my enquiries re the validity of the competition, as well as proof, of where such a number might be, as I seem to getting the wrong one.... Reboost is a nice product, but don't get yourself suckered into a competition, that probably doesn't exist and thereby also supporting a company, that couldn't care less about its customers...
This branch of Pick 'n Pay offers Pensioner's discount, Mondays > Fridays, even if you do not have a "loyalty card"! They don't even ask for proof that you're a pensioner. Lovely shop & staff; SUPPORT THEM and your pocket!
Exactly the same scenario here; I started with Exxoteq and "progressed" to UG2. Received fancy, glossy management reports in 2007 & 8 and NOTHING more, especially zero return on investment. I also invested similar amounts, which may not seem much, to many, but to me it was and still is
