I was provided with a voucher code 'EXTRACHEER' which clearly stated you receive an extra 10% across departments. I duly performed my purchase selecting items i wanted. I only noticed that certain items were not discounted. I didn't give a second thought if looking at the price of individual items because this was a large retailer and assumed the discounts were in order. To my dismay when looking at the total were was a discrepancy of R163.50. How could a large retailer like this cheat it's patrons. I'm certhere are others who have been cheated.
This product was purchased by my elderly parents from games stores gateway umhlanga. Game stores has had a stellar reputation and thus the reason for my parents making this their one stop shopping destination. They were led to believe this was a good product by the store/sales person. It was a supposed stainless steel Samsung fridge. I noticed the fridge door (top door) was rusted very badly and also a problem with the cooling. Upon making several enquiries was directed to Samsung repair centre durban were I was informed that I couldn't get a replacement door as they had no stock of this item and would not be receiving this item anytime soon or ever. I was also informed by the service agent that my request for this item was very strange as the door in question was made of stainless steel. This was surprising to say the least as looking at the fridge door one could swear it was made of mild steel. Clearly something was a miss, Samsung using inferior parts/components?? I enquired further with Samsung customer care and was provided with reference 3102053708. I was told I will be contacted shortly. On 2024/06/19 I spoke to Vaughn at Samsung customer care. He said he is not technically inclined and that the unit is out of warranty (1year). I tried explaining to him that the door was made out stainless steel which is not supposed to rust or not rust like its current state and this whilst being well taken care off. The refrigerator was always indoors and still remains in my parents kitchen to date (albeit an eyesore at the moment). Vaughn offered no compassion and said he was not willing to consult with a technician or any another personnel at Samsung to verify the component quality. I was offered a 10% discount of future Samsung products which is ridiculous as I will not recommend any Samsung product to anyone. I was shocked at Vaughns response and the manner in which he addressed this complaint. I would urge his superiors intervene as there must be several other unsatisfied clients after their interactions with him. The problem herein lies that my folks were deceived and now are getting little to no help from the vendors to the point were I have to intervene. My folks are elderly and this has taken a toll on their health in their attempts to resolve and their finances as this repairs and or purchasing a new fridge is a huge financial blow to them and my family. There is no accountability by any of the corporations/companies mentioned here! Big corporations should not be allowed to deceive clients and provide defective products. I urge for this matter to be adressed to the relevant personnel and actions to be taken. I wish to express my dismay at Sanlam and lonfin Wealth the brokerage company dealing with my sanlam portfolio. I have requested amendments and cancelations of certain policies which have been dragging on for more than 2 months. I have been inconvenienced by unauthorized debit orders which have caused havoc to my main banking portfolio, this has negatively affected my credit rating and put an end to further financial line of credits which I was embarking on for the near future. This has all but flushed down the drain my future business and life plans. I have sent numerous emails, made countless cellphone calls (bearing cost out of my own pocket) to no avail. It is an absolute pain to make changes to any sanlam products, there is little to no clauses/methods in sights. The call center agents @ Sanlam are hopelessly inadequate and of little help. Without the exception of Ryan Somur (extremely helpful), I have had little assistance from lonfin Wealth to make these changes.
I have had a terrible experience with snatcher online store, 'www.snatcher.co.za'. I ordered a portable air-conditioner which didn't work as advertised. I requested a refund. The website didn't allow for a review or I would have given zero stars if allowed. I was contacted via email by Tashriek Rustin (customer services agent). No reference numbers were provided but the original order number is 236981. Snatcher has a truly pathetic online website. I have the audit trail of emails (Subject: Re: I want to return something) requesting the refund. The item was fetched from my premises on 6th March 2023. Since 8th March 2023 is have had no reply and no feedback. I will not recommend this online store to anyone.
Absolutely worst experience using the Uber app prompts insisted for card details even though I was paying cash. It didn't make sense but nonetheless I knew the merchant (Uber app) or thought I did. The fee was R345.00. I paid the driver R370.00 cash which included R25.00 tip. I thereafter noticed a hold (R345.00) on my card, I went through the help guides on the app which noted that the hold is temporary and that the funds will be returned. To my surprise today I noticed the amount of R345.00 debited of my account. Absolutely disappointing experience with Uber. I escalated this query and am still waiting to be resolved.
Unacceptable and pathetic customer service. Firstly I was given a late delivery date of 2022-07-04 almost a month of my order date - 2022-06-09. Now I am waiting almost 2 weeks after the late provided delivery date, with no items in sight. I only received feedback once and that after I performed an enquiry simply confirming my order is late. I wouldn't advise anyone making a purchase of this website.

There was sufficient quantities available online and I was waiting in anticipation for my purchase. To my dismay I received a message from Snatcher on the 7th January 2021 that there was insufficient stock of the item. This was a real shock and a disappointment. There was a few messages back and forth and then Snatcher mentioned they will do a full refund. It is more than 3 weeks and I am still awaiting for my refund. I get responses that the customer services division is waiting for their account department to process the refund. It is ridiculous to have to wait this long for a refund. My 1st and last experience with snatcher. Will not recommend anybody to deal with them.

Absolute worst experience dealing with this vehicle accessor in conjunction with Iwyse (an equally disappointing customer service experience). Still waiting the approval for vehicle insurance. I get no feedback from Keneilwe Melato @ Straight Through. How is this company allowed to operate with no service delivery??
