The baggage staff at Etihad Airways mishandled my travel bag which was only two months old. All three wheels came off. I reported this and was told to take it to a repair shop and then file a claim. The repair shop said they could not repair the bag because the damage was internal, at the point where the wheels connect. I sent the email as instructed and have not yet heard back from Etihad Airways. It's bad enough that they mishandle our bags, but for them to take so long to respond? I travel a lot and need a travel bag, they need to replace my bag ASAP.
Our boss treated us to getting new nails, it was four of us - including him. I got a soak off and new set, my friend got a new set, another colleague got a refill and our boss got a buff and shine. The quality of the work was a solid 0/10. They didn't have the tips we wanted so they did sculpting which turned out terribly. The nails are so thick, and the painting job was awful. My colleague went back TWICE to get her nails fixed, my nails look a month old and aren't even, two of my colleagues nails broke - in the space of a week. We did express how we felt when we were at the salon but we ran out of time and they also seemed very impatient, so we just left. Our boss told us he paid a total of about R 4 000 for this, and it just baffles me because we got nothing close to what that amount is worth. I called to raise this concern and was told to send an email. I did that and have response till date. R 4 000 is a lot of money - something needs to be done.
I called TymeBank, asking for written proof that a case they were investigating with me has been resolved. Since this involves another bank, surely, they can just call the bank and ask for some written confirmation. I need this to send to a person who claims they haven't received my payments. I have sent POPs and bank statements, but still, the amounts apparently don't appear on the statement. I just need TymeBank to give me written confirmation that the money was credited into the person's account because I don't know what to do at this point.
I tried applying for a phone with Rentoza, and they were very efficient and quick in helping me with the application. Unfortunately, my application was denied, and I am now due for a refund. I have followed up with them countless times regarding my refund as 5 working days have passed - as per their policy. I don't understand why they take money before an application gets verified, makes absolutely no sense at all.
I am complaining for the second time on the same issue with the same bank. Capitec will refuse to release your money even when Uber/Bolt states that a trip did not happen and that the financial provider should release the funds. They will ask for an authorisation letter knowing very well that we communicate with Bots on those apps, the only confirmation we get is them responding saying that we should ask our banks to release the funds. Unfortunately, this is now happening again - where Bolt took money trips that never happened. They acknowledged this and said I should contact my bank to release the funds. I called them about this last week and received an SMS stating that they know that the funds have not yet been reversed and that they would do so in a day. I called today to confirm if this would be done and again, the lady I spoke to told me about a letter. After you complain, they claim to do an investigation and won't even share what their findings were. They expect expect you to get an authorisation letter but can't tell you what their communication with Bolt/Uber was and what the investigation entails. This is the third time this happens and the last two times, I never received my money back. What must happen in those 14 days that they claim to be investigating? I want my money back ASAP. They sent me an SMS saying that they would reverse the money so they should do it, I don't want to be called and to be told about an authorisation letter. If Bolt/Uber says release the funds, then please just do so, clearly it's possible. I have asked time and time again but as mentioned, we speak with bots on these apps and the chances of getting a letter are very slim. I don't want any investigation, just release the funds that appear on my statement - that's all.
Uber has taken money from my account for a trip that never happened. I send them a message on the app like I normally do, and it's been 4 hours - no response! This is utter *******, that is my money and I need a refund. No one is responding to my messages and Uber doesn't normally take this long to respond. Nonsense!
Capitec Bank is the absolute worst! I called to ask them to reverse funds that were taken by Uber for a trip that never took place. They ask me for an authorisation letter which is IMPOSSIBLE to get from Uber. All they do, is send you a message saying that the money has not been banked on their side and I should call my bank. Call my bank which refuses to help me, even when I've told them that Uber won't send me a letter, they will only respond to my messages which is what they have done. So what now???
I opened an Absa account in April and haven't used it much. I noticed that there were high charges on my account, and I found that weird because I hardly used it. So, I went to the bank to enquire about these charges as I didn't know what was happening. Turns out there has been *****ulent activity on my account. In May, I got ****** and unfortunately the people got access to my bank account. The transactions would decline, resulting in bank charges. I went to the bank to close the account and make a payment arrangement. I was told that they won't close the account until I pay the full amount. I found that rather unfair as this was ***** and I was seeking assistance. I was told that I would be charged further as long as the account is not closed and they are refusing to close the account until I pay the full amount, which was incurred due to the *****.
I ordered a cologne and I chose the wrong size. I called to ask what can be done done and I was told to order the correct size and call to cancel the first order as soon as I get an SMS to say that it is being delivered. I called to cancel the other order but they still delivered both orders. This is frustrating as their website says that I can's return the other order, I don't know what to as I did call the to cancel the one order but they did not do that. This is a gift, I can't keep both orders.
A lady called Sisipho from MTN at Festival Mall helped us, we had to take a phone back as it had software issues. This was done last year in November, we still don't have the phone. When we go to the shop, we get turned away and are told that the phone will be ready in a few days. We called her yesterday to follow up and she was beyond rude, she could not explain what the procedure is after a phone has been taken in. She could not tell us where the phone is and when it would be ready. She went on to say we should come to the shop so she could our faces because that's how she would know what we are talking about!!! This is beyond unprofessional, she never asked for an IMEI number or ID number to track the phone, just wanted to see our faces. Best part is she went on to hang up as I was talking to her.
