Shocking service from Corricraft Blue Route. Service is sluggish and no one knows what is going on. I ordered two chairs on 23 September. Was promised that they would be ready in 4 to 6 weeks time. Last week was 7 weeks. I had to follow up. I was assured that they would be delivered yesterday to the store on 12 November. Still no call from them to say they had or hadnt arrived. I had organised transport to collect them today and decided to call again today to make sure they were ready. Now been told only next week.....that is now 9 weeks!!! Ask why has this happened...no one can answer this. Ask them to call warehouse and find out why the delay. Promised they would do this and would phone me back. 3 hours later I am still waiting!!! Funny thing is dining chairs ordered two weeks later are ready. How is this possible. I was promised at the sale that I would be updated with progress. Never recieved one call. Every time I have to make the call. Surely Coricraft wants to keep customers. Surely its your repsonsibility that if you cant keep the contract, which you had no problem getting me to sign, you should have the courtesy to call me and let me know what the delay is. And you have the ordacity to say to me on the phone please dont get upset its not that we dont know what is going on. You flippin dont know whats going on with your orders!!! It sucks! Well my dear brother who is moving back from Norway at the end of the year and who was going to deck out his whole house in Greyton with coricraft will certainly not be using coricraft!!! Its clear you not interested in your customers but just the money! Please public do not use these guys...they are full of promises and can't keep one!! All sweet sugary sales talk....but cant come to the table when it counts....wake up Coricraft....just now there will be a case against you for not adhering to the contract!
After visiting Prominent Paints in Parden Eiland last week, I was advised by Luke, at the desk, to consult with their rep, who would come and do a complete inspection of our roofs, and give us the exact specs that we need to follow in order to firstly get the job done well, but also to secure us a guarantee for the job by Prominent Paints. Trying to get hold of the rep has been a complete waste of time. We have tried calling, whatsapping as well as emailing. He never answers the phone and doesn't return emails. Clearly this rep does not exist and Prominent are not able to secure a guarantee on their paints. We have used you guys for years. But sadly on this note will have to find another company who can offer us better service......amazing that service in todays age can be so bad....when so many out there are without work...clearly Prominent is doing very well and service delivery is no longer key.....SAD
Cracked windscreen! Reported it on Thursday to outsurance, with whom I am insured. Initially was given a company in Joburg where I could have it fixed. I live in Cape Town! Finally a company called yesterday and made a time to fix it today. However, they called mid morning today to say they can't make it! Some long story....Maybe Monday but more like Tuesday they said! This is a disgrace Outsurance.....where are the days you could go to PG Autoglass and have it fixed on the same day. Sadly I leave for holiday on Monday and will now have to wait 2 weeks until the windscreen can be fixed. Lets hope it doesn't cave in while Im driving...Shocking service...maybe need to look elsewhere for insurance options...wonder if it would have been different if I were a business man...
Reported standard bank credit card stolen on Thursday 24th Feb.......thus far its taken over 10 days for standard bank to courier a new card to me! I am still waiting standard bank. Clearly using a snail mail courier.....its a disgrace really....in financial circles you are know to be the worst bank around. I would agree...time to move on and out....
Service is a shocker....waited 15 minutes to be served. Two staff on duty. Not the first time. Too comfy relying on UCT students. I know of many who have gone elsewhere.....not good enough settling for basic service....could do way better with good service....
I am a provisional tax payer and was due to pay tax today, it being the end of August! I gave notice on my 32 day electronic notice account with Standard Bank, 32 days ago in order to make my tax payment today! Guess what? Despite Standard Bank promising me that the money would be available today "paid out on the 30 August" are their very own words! Not a cent has passed through my account! Great Standard Bank...when SARS contacts me to ask where my tax payment is, I will send them on to you.....Your service over the past few years has sucked! On many occasions I have considered Capitec Bank....fewer fees as well. Just know that within the next day or two I will be closing my electronic account with you and in fact may well consider s****ping the credit card and in time my cheque account. Capitec here we come....
I am not sure if anyone else is having issues with car hire companies in South Africa BUT i certaily am. For the past 4 times that I have hired a car I have had a problem. December 2016 we forgot our walking sticks in a car at First Car Rental and they went missing shortly after handing the car back. We called them almost immediatley and no one knew where they were. Vanished! June 2017 we rented a car and the boot jammed for the whole holiday and so we were unable to lock our luggage in the boot. December 2017 we rented from Budget/Avis and the car's petrol cap would not open. We eventually forced it open and had to keep it open for the rest of the holiday! The amazing thing is not one of these car rental companies will apologise and discount for the inconveninece. We have now just rented a car from Tempest in Durban. A week into the rental Tempest got a signal that the tracking device of the car had picked up that there had been a "serious" rear impact on the car. They tried calling us but unfortunately I was driving and couldnt take the call. On arrival at my destination I downloaded my voice messages and got a message from the tracking dept saying they were very concerned about us as the tracking device had gone off. I tried calling them back but there was no answer. Knowing that I was safe and had not been hijacked I did not worry about it any further. I did not know tracking devices pick up on impacts. I returned the car on Saturday 14 July. I complained to Sheldon at Tempest Car Hire King Shaka about the fact that Tempest had given me a car with a faulty tyre as we had a slow puncture for most of the holiday and despite having it checked in Hluhluwe, it continued to go down on and off throughout the holiday. Now here comes the catch......listen up folks.....the car was checked when we returned it and NO fault was found! Yesterday 19July I get a message from Tempest to say that the car had been for an impact assessment and that the car had damages for which I am now liable......yes you are thinking the same as I am..... where the heck did this come from! I am also wondering. Further, today 20 July I get an email from Tempest, a paper trail of a discussion that has been held between colleagues. It went something like this.....the tracking device has been activated and the said car has been involved in a "serious" rear end impact.....the next email read.....and yes the client is still driving the car......next email....so and so please make sure that when this car is returned it is taken for a full impact assessment. The paper trail was sent to me with No "Good Afternoon Miss....the tracking device was activated on your journey and it shows a rear impact please would you explain." Nothing like this...just a paper trail of their discussion about me as the client making out as though I have had a major accident and must be grabbed as soon as I get back....Heres the oddity.....the time at which the so called impact occured we were in Hluhluwe getting the slow puncture checked. Could the taking off of the wheel have activated the tracking device? If there had been a serious impact surely it would have shown up on the body work. On returning the car it was checked and all was said to be fine. I never thought it would be anything different as there had NEVER been a rear impact of any kind! How can the company come back to us 5 days later saying there is damage. THERE NEVER WAS A REAR IMPACT....EVER.....HOW CAN TEMPEST MAKE THAT ACCUSATION WITHOUT ASKING FIRST.
