Plumbing Johannesburg (PTY) Ltd was appointed by my insurers to investigate an underground leak on my property. I requested this service provider because they did an outstanding job back in 2022, also for an underground leak. They came with the necessary leak detection equipment and found the culprit in no time. They took their time answering my questions, they were respectful of my space and gave me excellent advice too. I would highly recommend this service provider.
I have had my Householder's insurance with Absa for over 20 years. In all that time, I have had nothing but excellent service from them. My most recent claim was an extensive one, due to lightning damage. It was handled professionally and once again, the Absa team didn't disappoint. Thank you for always going the extra mile for me.
I must admit, I was rather sceptical about PTSS after reading the reviews here. They were appointed by Absa Insurance to handle a rather extensive claim caused by lightning damage. It was a difficult installation because my alarm system was old and patched together over many years. From Lizelle who handled just about everything to Bongani, the technician who had the unenviable task of the repair, I have nothing but praise for this team. They were professional, kept me informed and most of all, they replaced the damaged items with top-quality replacements. Willie Olivier (Director) went beyond the call of duty to assist me. I am so pleased with the service from every member of the team. I will definitely call on their services in the future. Well done!
Be wary when you return items to Takealot. I'm not sure if they have a new, *********** team that processes the Returns these days. I returned a brand-new belt in the original packaging. They declined the return stating that the item was used and not packaged. I wish I had taken pictures of the item and the packaging. Just a tip, take photos when you return items. Something has changed at Takealot. Can't wait for Amazon.
I bought the latest Instant Vortex ClearCook Dual View Airfryer from Hirsch's Struben's Vally. Bought it home and decided 12 hours later that it looked like a big clumsy blob of black plastic. Knowing the CPA and its rules on change of heart purchases, I contacted Kimershen (the sales rep at Hirsch's) and asked if I could return it for a refund. He went out of his way to sort out the refund, despite his colleagues arguing that the unit was used, which clearly it was not. Kimershan and his manager were super helpful. Thank you Kimershen for your sales and after-sales service.

My husband tried to close an account that he is not using. Went to Cresta Branch. They said they cannot read his signature clearly from their records on file. He has banked with them for more than 35 years. He was standing in front of the service (non) advisor with ID book and Proof of residence and they can't verify a signature! . We have not been able to close the account.

I bought a CampMaster One Touch Gazebo from Makro Struben's Valley on 5 Aug 2019 for R899. I tried setting it up on 28 Sept 2019, but shortly realised that there were some parts missing. I went to Makro on 1 October 2019 and tried to get the store to refund me or issue a credit note. They refused to do so saying that it was more than 14 days since I bought the product. But the product is defective and I think the CPA states that the buyer has the right to ask for a refund within 6 months. The staff then booked the item in (after consulting with supervisor and manager) for repairs even though this is not what I requested. I'm really disappointed in the way I was treated. They have lost a loyal customer.
I was super excited to get Mandy Manning to assist me again. I needed to make amendments to my insurance policy and Mandy was magnificent. Thank you for helping me and for finding ways to keep my premiums low without any loss of cover. Always a pleasure to deal with you.
