I am lodging this complaint due to the appalling conduct of Car Service City Midrand employees and the dismissive response I received from management. On the afternoon of the incident, I was stopped at a traffic light with my 8-year-old son in the vehicle when a man (a beggar) was masturbating against another woman’s car window in full public view. Two Car Service City Midrand employees, wearing branded attire and handing out flyers at the intersection, stood nearby laughing at the victim. When I confronted them and asked why they were not intervening or assisting the woman, they responded that the man was “just honey.” This comment was made to me and my minor child. My complaint was never about the beggar alone — it was about the employees’ behaviour, their failure to act, and their inappropriate remarks which trivialised a ***ual offence occurring in front of women and children. The response I received from Car Service City Midrand was deeply concerning. Rather than addressing employee conduct, the company: Attempted to deflect responsibility by focusing on whether the perpetrator was a beggar Claimed difficulty identifying their own employees Took no responsibility for staff behaviour in a public-facing role I find it unacceptable that a company operating in public spaces claims to “take pride” in its staff yet fails to investigate or take accountability when employees openly mock a victim of ***ual misconduct — especially in the presence of a child. This matter has been reported to SAPS. However, this complaint relates specifically to employee conduct and company accountability, which Car Service City Midrand has failed to address. I am posting this publicly to warn other parents and members of the public, and to request that Car Service City Head Office formally investigates this incident and confirms what action will be taken.
So just past 4pm today I am driving to the shops, with my 8 year old son in the car, and this excuse of a human being is standing in the middle of the road jerking his 🥓 off to the poor woman who was stopped in front of me. As in standing up against her window with his 🐓 against the glass. Just next to him are two men who work for CAR SERVICE CITY handing out flyers, laughing away - I roll down my window and ask them *** are they not going to do anything to help this woman. (keep in mind this is after school hours and woman are driving home with their children) they turned to me and laughed in my face saying "it's OK he is horn3y" they found it HILLARIOUS I did report this to the police Car Service City - your staff are disgusting for laughing and betting and aiding indecent public exposure to woman and minors in an era where GBV is a hot topic. Event occurred on the corner of Old Pretoria and Le Roux Avenue in Midrand

They’ve absolutely earned my trust and gratitude!
Think twice before sending your children to this school. Honestly I have never in my life had to deal with a situation where the communication is so bad that it takes literal months to follow up on a problem and they still do not do anything or bother to reach out to you. Last year NOVEMBER I had notified both the school and their accounts department that my son will be attending a new school this year. THEY did not follow the correct procedure to terminate my contract and nobody reached out to me on how to do so or sent through a termination link as is required. In January of this year I found out my son is still enrolled. For TWO months I tried to rectify this and inform them that they were informed last year that my son is changing schools. It took almost TWO months before they sent me a termination link in FEBRUARY. After I completed this link I got an email stating I owe over R10 000!!! I requested the invoice and one of the amounts on the invoice and a penalty fee was for school fees that I had already paid last year and had been carried over. I sent through the proof of payment for this at least 3 times, it is now March, this has still not been rectified on my account. I then also reached out to find out as to why I am being penalized for termination when they were notified in November last year that my son will not be returning. I have literal documents that they, themselves signed and dated last year to transfer him to a new school. I have been following up on these emails for weeks. The breakdown of the money I still supposedly owe (ignoring the amount I already paid) is for two months fees and a stationary fee, since when is a stationary fee apart of a termination fee, I am unsure, They do not communicate. I called in, they told me to send everything to an email address, which I did. I have been following up for weeks on this and rarely get a response. When I do get a response I have to continuously explain to them what is going on and then they go quiet again and send through more incorrect invoices (still not rectifying the amount I had already paid and the penalty fee they falsely charged me)I have asked on numerous accounts that they just call me so we can discuss what is going on but they do not. So far they have deliberately followed incorrect procedures so that they can exploit you for more money. I am fed up with this school, and I am not surprised to see many more reviews on here stating the same thing. In the interim of their failure to communicate and follow correct procedures, guess who is being penalized? That's right, the person actually trying to do their jobs for them. I honestly do not think they have a single qualified person operating in their accounts department, so ask yourself, is this really the school you want to be sending your children to?
Please be careful when purchasing from American Swiss, we recently spent tens of thousands of rands on what was said to be a lab grown diamond ring only for the stone to test as moissanite and not diamond. The sales agent was very eager to make the sale and adamantly would not even offer a discount. Moissanite is a completely different stone to diamond.
I have a serious complaint about your staff at the Clearwater branch. As someone who actually works in retail I understand fully how even retail staff can have a bad day but I also understand that that is not the fault of the customer. So today I went to look for new shoes for my fiance for work (he wears a size 12 and shoe city stocks Bronx which is one of the few brands that makes formal shoes in this size) - so walking through the aisle and checking boxes, I reach the end, a young lady who (at this time I did not realize yet) looks up at me but continues to walk straight towards me forcing me to back into a row of shoes to get out of her way. I brush it off and carry on looking. Then the same lady comes back again (she has a man, who I now realize was a customer she was helping, following her) again she looks straight at me and then walks DIRECTLY into me. The man who she was helping then stops her and says you have now just walked into this woman again. So she offhand says sorry. I decide at first to let it go and leave the shop, but then I realize that is nonsense and this behavior is unacceptable. So I turn around and head to the counter of the shop, the girl who walks up to me comes to speak to me (I assume because who I guess is her manager was standing there) so I ask her if it is normal for staff to walk into customers, which she responded with that she said sorry. So I looked at her and said she walked into me twice, so did she walk into me twice accidently? She just repeated sorry in a sarcastic manner. I looked at the manager and pointed out that I had come into the store to spend money but I will now spend that money elsewhere as the behavior of the staff is highly unprofessional and rude. I am not impressed and will not support your stores in future.
Absolutely appalled by the complete lack of knowledge of the staff at cellucity in Mall of Africa. And elderly couple, in their 70s, came into the store yesterday afternoon to buy a cellphone. The lady stated that her network provider is TELKOM and she was set on a certain phone that would be user friendly for her. The sales person was VERY EAGER to sell her that phone model and MENTIONED NOTHING about the cellphone being NETWORK LOCKED TO VODACOM. (Even though she had clearly stated she is TELKOM) - Today the lady went back to return the phone, one day later and they refused to do the refund. They then forced an elderly lady into a position to buy a new phone at a higher cost and pay in even though the mistake was clearly due to their own incompetence. Also this is completely illegal in terms of the consumer protection act. Absolutely disgusting, Cellucity, please tell how you run a store selling cellphones when the staff are too stupid to know how networks, work????

I do not understand why Cradlestone Mall Steers even uses the delivery and order app. This is now the third time I have placed an order with them via the app and by the time I reach the store they have not even begun to make the food yet. one time the lady apologized to say she was on lunch. This time however was the final straw and enough for me to boycot Steers for life. when I approached the counter, I asked to pay for my order, the lady behind the till had to search for it. (Please note the prep area is directly behind the tills) another lady came and emptied a bag of cold chips into one of the fryers trays. Noticing this i asked if they had started on my order yet, she says something to the lady to start my order. Said lady who had loaded the fryer was standing in front of me licking her fingers and then turned around and only then proceeded to START my order. without washing her hands and no gloves on. Well done Steers on not only being unable to follow general health and safety protocols but obviously also not adhering at all to Covid regulation. As a final cherry on top, my chips are raw
Very professional and excellent service. Staff are well educated on their product knowledge. We had a few questions regarding which direction to go in for a design and make-up and they pointed us in the correct direction, regarding materials and stones. Reading some of the negative reviews, I am absolutely shocked that some people will complain that they agreed to pay for a service, knowing what the price is, and then acting as if they were forced and robbed. PDD has always provided us with fantastic service and their gold and jewelry is of the highest quality. Needless to say we were very impressed when our order went through and we received our final product. Also the price range was fantastic compared to many other jewelry stores that we have been to.
