I have been donating for quite a number of years. The last twice I have been to the location where the SMS says I should be and there is no one there!!! I phoned SANBS as I yet again received an SMS to donate on 9 June at Balfour Mall and I did not want to waste my time like I did on 8 June and they said they would get back to me......I am still waiting!!!! This really makes me so angry as blood is so precious to save lives. I am willing to donate but no one is dedicated enough to get back to me. Maybe you should check the staff you have that they be dedicated enough to make sure they get back to donors with the right information. I am very disappointed that I cannot adhere to your plea for blood as they are not where they are supposed to be and I'm not wasting my petrol and time unless I know for sure they are there. I am a Pensioner so can't afford to waste petrol unnecessarily. Thank you Mrs B G Coston
I really have to compliment Neo at the Mall of the South branch for her excellent customer service. She went out of her way to ensure I got what I wanted. One of the staff members checked for boots I wanted and came back and said there were none in my size. Neo said to me "Just hold on I am going to check the stock online". I was over the moon that she found that there were in stock and she went and found them in the storeroom for me. That's what I call going the extra mile. Please ensure she gets praise for this. Thank you Neo I was a very happy customer. More people like you are needed to make that extra effort.
I take offence to receiving an SMS today, 1 April 2019, stating that I have not paid my Personal Loan when Nedbank took the debit order off on 29 March 2019!!! Please will the department sending out these SMS's get their facts straight before sending out this type of SMS. I do not appreciate receiving this SMS when my account is paid on time and up to date!!!! I think I should receive an apology from the individual sending out this A SMS. Not impressed!!!
I am EXTREMELY impressed with the awesome and prompt service received from Nedbank regarding my complaint. Nicolas Govender, Client Services Manager, is an amazing and genuine people's person and I highly commend this attribute he has and he is definitely an asset to Nedbank. Nicolas advised me to liaise with Taariq in Credit Direct who was extremely courteous and an absolute pleasure to deal with. An accolade should go out to both these amazing gentlemen for attending to my issue and making "things happen". I am grateful beyond words. Thank you.
I am totally distraught! I retired 31 Dec 2018 and as a result have no income for January 2018 (my salary used to be paid on 20th of the month) but do have a Provident Fund payout which is due to be paid about mid-February (have an email from the Fund Administrators to that effect.) I have 12 debit orders that come off at the end of each month. I went into Nedbank to see if they could possibly help me that these debit orders do not get returned as it is going to cost me a LOT of money and turn my whole life upside down especially that my Car Insurance is going to lapse! From 31 Jan I have to fund my Medical Aid myself and it will be my first payment as a private individual now that is going to lapse!! I have always prided myself in that I have an excellent credit record and have never reneged on any of my payments ever! Nedbank have refused to help!!!! Within about 2 weeks of the end of the month I will have a substantial amount of money going into my account but have to now face uncalled for costs and the stress of all my debit orders having to be reinstated!!! Needless to say Car Insurance, Medical Aid and my Funeral Policies are of top priority to me and these lapsing could cause major setbacks to my finances should anything happen!
I am so very disappointed with my Bank. I think it is totally unacceptable that a system can APPROVE a loan and then the "back office" DECLINE it!! To play with peoples emotions is a disgrace, I think you need to work on something that goes hand in hand with the system and the "back office". I actually was only looking for a loan for literally 2 months as I am receiving a substantial sum of money mid- to end January 2019 (which I gave the Sales person at the Bank proof of). I already have an existing loan so just wanted to add to it and would have been happy to have it flagged that when the money went into my cheque account (where it is being paid) they could have taken it off. I have an excellent credit record (as I check my TransUnion Report) and have never defaulted with any of my payments ever. Due to unforeseen circumstances I just required a little help for Nov and Dec. So future customers beware, all goes well in the "front office" and at the "back office" everything turns sour! I am a rather distraught client right now and am nervous when I need to invest with Nedbank.
I was very disappointed to learn that you have changed the whole system on booking with points at your hotels (Sun City). In the past I have enjoyed many pleasant stays at Sun City (the last being September 2017) using my points whereby a certain number of points got you accommodation at either Soho, Cabanas etc now I believe 1 point is equal to R1.00. You have really taken away all the great rewards Sun International had to offer. The same as the 5 night midweek break at The Wild Coast which we took up every single year (that stopped about 2/3 years ago). On that note maybe just as well I do not frequent Carnival City anymore which was my favourite, it has really gone down and I do not enjoy going there anymore. Shame on you Sun International!!
I honestly don't understand why banks would want to have a "tap" system on a credit card this is a huge risk and if they insist should the credit card holder not be asked for permission to put this on the card??!!! I really don't think this is a good idea at all because if it should fall in the wrong hands or get stolen then it is a problem. I received my new credit card in July and it automatically has a "tap" function on it. I do not like it and for security reasons I think it is a huge risk why on earth would you want something like this!! I would like to have this deactivated now I will have to find time to go into a bank to deactivate which is very inconvenient. Where is the security on this type of thing, I would much rather put my pin in on the card machine.
I was so disappointed with my visit to Carnival City on Friday night. Before going on the floor I accompanied my husband to the Carnival Bar to have a refreshment. I was totally disgusted that a supposedly upmarket Casino actually served me my refreshment in a plastic cup!!! They would not give me a glass. The next disappointment is that when I came back to the Carnival Bar after about 3 hours, all the tables in the bar were cluttered with glasses and bottles etc. No one had cleared the tables the whole night while we were there, it gave the bar a very dirty look. The service at the bar also remains to be totally unacceptable all the barmen seem to stand around in one area and if you are on the other side of the bar you can forget getting any service. I no longer enjoy my visits to Carnival it seems to have a downgraded feel. I used to be a frequent visitor but no longer. The only good comment I can give is that at least you have some good entertainment at the Carnival Bar a couple of times a month.
A very BIG THANK YOU Gold Reef City Casino for putting on an amazing show at the Lyric Theatre namely, Hot in the City. This brought back so many memories of days gone by where all the casinos put on Extravaganzas and shows every weekend and we supported them constantly, we never missed a show. We used to always support the shows you had in The Globe Theatre (when it was still there). These types of shows add so much flavour to a casino!! Shows like these should be ongoing (like in Las Vegas). Our local dancers and singers need support so thank you Gold Reef City for coming to the party. Hot in the City was an amazing show and I really hope to see more of them. My husband and I are avid supporters of local talent. GRC you are the BEST!!
