I was under debt review and received my clearance certificate in September 2020. With the administration they add you onto their Insurance as well. I cancelled the insurance in April 2020 as i knew i was about to end my administration with them. For months after i even received my clearance certificate my credit profile had Insurance Busters as 3 months in arrears which was not correct- this all the way till December. it was only updated in Jan 2021, however not with all credit bureau. After already lodging a dispute through TransUnion I'm also baffled how this was not rectified. Seems you have to lodge several disputes- whats frustrating is that your profile goes into complete standstill for 21 day, nothing less than that. i refuse to lodge a dispute as this was not an error on my end. Nobody sine Jan has called from Debt Busters to apologise for the inconvenience or to even update me as to when my profile will be updated. i am appalled with the service as it has left me with a damaged credit profile. What a relief when you get your clearance certificate, BUT such an annoyance that now i have to run around day in and out to fix an error that actually i don't have any access to do much to. Kim

I remember a period of sending emails with zero comms back from them. When I contacted Transunion I had to lodge a dispute which puts another flag on your account for 21 working days. September I received my clearance certificates, my status was only updated in December. After calling, lodging disputes most of the running around was done by me the consumer after being flagged for 5 years and doing exactly as I was told to do. 3 months later I’m still getting declined by major banks, can’t get vehicle finance, even small accounts and Woolworths gets declined. I have only managed to secure a loan from African Bank at this stage. 3 months later Insurance Busters or IDM and All the Credit bureau’s have not been able to update information that was incorrectly updated on my profile. Saying I missed 3 months of payment when in fact this was a cancellation. 3 months I’m still the only person following up. I’ve had about 3 emails from Experian/Compuscan not being able to assist. I’m lodging a formal complaint because an email was sent on Friday from Insurance Busters and to date they still haven’t been able to update the details correctly. I went as far as the Ombudsman who simply told me this is an NCR issue. I went to them too and again I need to lodge a dispute AGAIN. Most companies use Experian/Compuscan and with zero updates on their end, the unwillingness to answer calls- the worst call centre it’s just unacceptable at this stage that it hasn’t happened yet. Or that they cannot give you a courtesy call or email to advise where they are on your case. This is 7 months later, I begged the Transunion consultant how do I build my credit score she simply told me I need to borrow more-NOW TELL ME HOW AND WHERE. FRAUD VICTIM ON 2 OCCASSIONS WITH FNB- IM DISGUSTED TO SAY THE LEAST!!! On 26 March 2019 I fell victim to Card Theft- this happened at an FNB ATM that was not working- which had NO OUT OF ORDER signage up and when I realised that my card was stolen because the ATM was not working I was unable to STOP my card quick enough before this man managed to take R8000.00 out of my account.. FNB's response to this is that it was my fault as I did not protect my pin enough. The disgust I have for FNB came when I was charged for a card replacement, as if I gave my card away. Who is the victim and perpetrator here? This case I have taken to the Ombudsman- which is still being investigated. Then last night 2 July 2019- a mere 4 months after my initial incident, I get a banking SMS of another R2000.00 being debited from my account, this time around I have my card in my hands so I'm in total shock of course. How does this happen? How in 4 months have I been victim of Card & Online Banking Fraud. What measures of customer protection does FNB really have in place. This is OUTRAGEOUS to say the least. My card has been stopped again, probably another FEE I will need to pay to replace this card- which is RIDICULOUS. After the first incident and been left feeling like maybe it was my fault I fell prey to Card Theft, this time around I DEMAND my account be closed- I will be moving elsewhere with the hope of this NEVER happening to me again. FNB YOU SUCK- ZERO CUSTOMER EMPHATHY, INHUMAN APPROACH, ZERO CUSTOMER PROTECTION.
I stopped at the Mugg n Bean Montrose in late August this year. Had a toastie and found a massively piece of plastic in the sandwich. I have since then emailed them, given a google review and posted this on Facebook. They have not reached out once to apologise for this. South Africans need to demand better service from the food industry. It is pathetic and absolute disgusting that they would not reach out to find some sort of resolve. I have pictures and receipts!! Why should we settle for such poor service when you pay almost R80 bucks on a toastie!! This is unfair and as a consumer it totally violates my rights!! #saynotobadservice
