I sourced Romeo Business to build a pool at my place and he was friendly in the beginning and completed the work. The pool was finished and filled with water and it became obvious after the pool was filled that it was leaking. When I reported the first time he was dismissive but later saw it himself. I spent months waiting for him to come and fix the leak and his several promises are never fulfilled. To date he has not come to repair the pool after I paid him more than R75 000. He is now avoiding me and anyone should be warned if intending to do business with him.
I purchased furniture at Bears Thohoyandou two years ago. Furniture was delivered and assembled and in the process my ceiling was damaged. I went to Bears to report the incident to the Sales Lady and Branch Manager. The BM assured me that they would send somebody to come and fix the ceiling with my material. To date nothing has been done despite my reminders. All I got are empty promises and I write to alert customers aware that the store is led by people who are not trustworthy. They lack on business ethics.
I took a car for a service at Mercedes Sandton on 14 Dec, the car for a service. All this car needed was service. Car was serviced and all was certified as functional. I drove a car but before I got home the car was showing a battery light and shutting down. I managed to take the car to Constatia Mercedes Benz where I was told the battery was not charging. Sadly I'm required to pay for diagnostics again. Logically if the alternator is not charging this started at the Sandton workshop as the car never ever showed such signs. We don't except such challenges from the brand being Mercedes and one may have to request proof that both the alternator and battery were not tampered with.
I applied for fiber installation in January and Vumatel performed installation which was to be followed by delivery of a router by ISP. My ISP is Accelerit which has never contacted me for delivery. It is only in May when I started looking for an ISP that Vumatel advised me that Accelerit is my ISP and I cannot find another ISP. When I contacted Accelerit, they claimed not to have my name or details but advised me to pay installation fee of R1700.00 should I want to continue. I refused to pay as when I applied in the internet installation was free. Now Iam not able to get an ISP because Vumatel says my ISP is Accelerit and the latter refuses to remove me from Vumatel so I may be able to get another ISP. This happens because Vumatel is the only provider of fiber where I live.
I have an Edgars account and I recieved call from Edgars and the caller was selling airtime subscription. I asked the caller to send me information for me to read before I could decide to subscribe or not but to my surprise I started recieving calls saying Im owing and must pay. The debt arouse from airtime subscription and after explaining the subscription was cancelled but not the debt and I continue to recieve threatening calls
I being harassed by MBD INC for a Vodacom account which I cancelled in 2 days. Vodacom has sent me a letter indicating the account is settled but I continued to recieve threatening calls and smses about this account even after I emailed the vodacom letter.
I bought a TV only to find out the TV I purchased is not the one I saw on display. The sales person gave me a wrong TV. When I reported tge matter I was promised the TV will be fetched from my house only to be called the following day the store does not have a car. I cannot even be refunded since I have the TV which I must return at my cost. I have been disrespected by this store and this conduct is unethical and uncalled for. I have to pay for some incompetence.
When I occupied my house in 2014 I made a query on property valuation as I did not think it was properly valued. The query was never resolved. This year again the City decided on valuation without looking at the submission I made during objections. I think the City does not really care about its residents
I took a contract with Vodacom in 2016. A device was delivered to me but I called the following day to cancel and a driver was despatched to come fetch the phone. To my surprise I was billed for 5 months and cancelled. Call ccentre agents promised I would be refunded but to my surprise I have since been receiving calls from Vodacom s collections and their lawyers to pay the account. I refuse to pay and I 've been saying Vodacom owes nmw instead.
