Atrocious service from BOTH Makro Silver Lakes and Hisense Customer Care. Bought a washing machine on 7March2026. We connected it on Sunday. Gave fault on Display. After don't know HOW many phone calls EVERY day to Makro & Hisense: Learnt that Makro ONLY logged a job card on Thursday. Only have 7day return policy. They all promise to phone you back. No calls back (I made over 20 phone calls. If the sales person is not on lunch the Hisense Rep is not available... he promised me over and over Hisense will call me. Instead I had to continue calling. Friday afternoon 15h00 - day 7 after purchase: STILL no call. Should have paid R1000 more and should have bought the LG instead.

SERIOUSLY bad service. Only have 7day return policy. Should have paid R1000 more and should have bought the LG instead.
Jan & Oupa installed our Trellisman security door today. Brilliant service and great product.
Zero support from call centre. Been trying to get hold of them for days now. You leave messages "As all our agents are busy at the moment" - but no one returns a call. I sent an email to Support - also no reply. Maybe this review would get them to contact me as it is impossible to speak to a human on their phone lines.
We had the pleasure of working with StarPlex on our insurance claim, and they exceeded our expectations! Werner and his team of three arrived punctually, replaced two damaged ceiling boards, matched and replaced the cornices, and app**** undercoat and paint with flawless results. They were incredibly respectful of our home, carefully covering furniture with drop sheets, and left everything spotless, even cleaning and refitting the light fixture. Werner and his team provided top-quality work with exceptional care and professionalism. We highly recommend StarPlex and give them a well-deserved 5-star rating! I went to presentation and signed contract with uneasy feeling. Martin assured me if he cannot secure a booking for me by Monday I legally have the right to cancel within 5 days (cooling off period) and will be fully refunded. I did send cancellation request. Was referred to Apex who is not giving me any answers..2 weeks later they sent a cancellation form I had to complete (why was this not sent through on the day I requested cancellation?) Since then Martin has blocked our numbers. No refund. Waiting for my $410... crazy
I fell for the sales pitch, where the consultant Martin assured me that if I had any doubts, I had a 5-day "cooling-off" period to cancel and receive a full refund. However, that's not what happened. Instead, I’ve been bounced around from one person to another, with each one saying, "We’ll refer your case to head office," but no refund has been issued. I urge the media, like Carte Blanche or other investigative journalists, to investigate this Company: Go Ortus or Ortus Go. I will remove this review if I receive the $410 refund and the cancellation of my first month's subscription - as promised. Right now, it feels like a ****. But if they follow through and refund me as promised, I'll take down this review. Still, something doesn't feel right.
Tidied from Ateerbury Valuemart branch gave 5Star service. When they did not have my size, she suggested to check other branches and had it sent to their branch. When it arrived , she helped me yet again. Gret service . She has a great sense of humor and goes far and beyond to keep customers happy. Great Customer service from Tsidie!

We had the pleasure of dealing with Catherine Broli at Glenwood Travel. It was amazing to see how she went out of her way to help us, give us extra information and looked at several different price options for my daughter's trip to Germany. Thank you Cathy! You were a STAR! Sadly we did not book the tickets with her in the end - but dealing with another travel agent; we realized HOW MUCH knowledge Cathy has and her friendliness and helpfulness is highly commendable....
