Have been trying for 3 weeks to apply for a loan but the online application site needs to be updated or sorted out. Keeps giving the same error report. {Your Banking account number is invalid, please make sure that you have the correct account number. I have taken screen shots of the error message and numerously emailed support, but NO HELP was just advised that I need to use my computer not my phone browser and then my banking account number will be accepted and not rejected, well I have tried 7 different computers and still get the same error message and no reply from Support anymore. The Support team not very helpful nor friendly it's as if they are doing you a favor and you are disturbing them.
The worst service ever, I would not recommend Discovery Insurance to any of my friends or family, I was in an accident on the 29th of January 2022, we were notified on the 2nd of Feb 2022 that the car has gone in for assessment but the car was only assessed on the 4th of February 2022 as I phoned Discovery on the 4th of Feb 2022 in the afternoon and was advised that the car still needs to be assessed by the assessors. We were advised that we do not have car hire option and took out car hire as we were now without car and had to rely on Bolt and Uber. I received my car back on the 9th of March 2022 and the following were found: 1. Back tires and spare wheel were exchanged with old worn out bold tires, 2. Battery was swopped with a smaller old battery, Hub caps were swopped with old scratched peeling hub caps, the front Bumper not the same color, burning smell in the car, ABS braking system failed (feels like bubbles in the pipes) 3. Gears scratching when putting in reverse 4. Rattling sound under the car 5. Tjie tjie sound by the right front wheel, 6. Car shakes terrible when reaching 100km/h 7. Wheel Alignment is out. 8. The aerial was swopped with a chewed up aerial. I immediately phoned Discovery insurance and I advised them about the problems, my intelligence were questioned as I was asked if I knew how a car battery looks like and that things doesn't add up (thank God my car was assessed on the 11th of Jan 2022 passing all with flying colors) After numerous phone calls and being put on hold as I request to speak to the specialist department I was advised by the auto repair shop that I need to bring the car back for a full diagnostics, I called Discovery Insurance 15 March 2022 requesting car hire as the car is being sent back by Discovery Insurance and was advised that we do not have car hire on our policy and when requesting to speak to a supervisor the phone was cut off
The worst service I have ever experienced. Don't know why Discovery Insurance does business with CMC Autobody repairs Germiston, my car has been there for over a month now just under carriage damages quoted under R20000 for repairs, 11 days turn around time for the repairs and be back on the road. Well its been over a month, got written confirmation that my car is finished parts fitted and quality control needs to be done and will be ready on friday the 04 March 2022, well when I calked to find out what time i can collect i was informed that they still waiting for a part and the part has been on back order from 10 Jan 2022 and will have to wait for another 5 weeks and only then will be able to confirm if they received the part or not. Then the audacity to tell me the best he can do is give me Hyundai parts contact number and I can call them and ask them about parts on back order. No courtesy vehicle offered, don't care attitude, never provides promised feedback no accurate details and the best of all is they haven't even given Discovery Insurance the correct updated information even telephonically confirming with a Discovery claims consultant the car will be ready 04 March 2022 but telling me another 5 weeks for the part only then they might be able to give estimate date for my car if the part order has been received!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO CMC AUTOBODY GERMISTON, you will only regret it and make sure you confirm the same with your insurance company
Truly and utterly thankful for an app like Truecaller that actually records all incoming and outgoing calls. So my mom a pensioner(existing MONDO MTN customer) applied online for a MTN home Internet package and received a call ba k from this very rude obnoxious sales agent, you could hardly hear him at first and my mother asked if he could speak louder and he confirmed the online application and asked her for her employment information and she said she's a pensioner, Immediately responding in a rude aggressive manner "YOU DON'T MEET OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS" so my mom said but she's an existing customer of MONDO and he screamed over the phone DID YOU NOT HEAR WHAT I SAID TO YOU? YOU DON'T MEET OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS" Then saying YOU ****ING STUPID CUSTOMERS ARE ****ING HIM OFF. then the call was cut. All on recording what a shock and shame
DSV Couriers delivered my new MTN Contract 30 December 2021, DSV needed to confirm that the correct order was received, I opened the package only to find a Samsung Galaxy A12 and MTN contract sim card, I advised the DSV driver that this was incorrect as I ordered a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and he advised that I must go to the nearest MTN shop to exchange to the correct device ordered. I contacted customer service and confirmed that a Samsung A52 5G phone was originally ordered but was exchanged with a Samsung Galaxy A12 (to one of the lowest Samsung Galaxy phones) due to NO stock on the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.I wasn't contacted advising or asking my approval to exchange from a Samsung A52 to a . Samsung Galaxy A12 The customer service agent advised that I need to go to the nearest MTN shop to in hand the device to obtain a reference number form the MTN shop that the device is still in original packaging, I then need to call Customer care with the reference number in order to cancel the MTN contract. I told the customer agent that I don't want to cancel the contrac I want to exchange it to the device originally ordered or a device that is equivalent. I was ignored and was told that I can reapply from scratch only after 2 to 3 months after the cancellation of the contract. I confirmed that there's a second MTN order numbers and asked to confirm the device the second order as DSV contacted me to confirm delivery 31 December 2021.I was advised that its only a sim card without a device, but order states device/sim. I asked if a device can he added to the second order and the guy said NO as the package was already at DSV, I requested for the second order to be cancelled and was advised that I can place a new order immediately and will be delivered next week. I placed a new order but still no response. I do not want to cancel the MTN contract I want the phone I applied for or a phone from another brand that is equivalent to the Samsung A52 5G phone not the cheapest entry level dumbass phone that was exchanged without my consent and approval.
Most shocking and disappointing level of service and professionalism. I applied online for a new contract on the 22nd of December 2021 on the Mondo website, I confirmed and submitted my order, 10min later I got contacted by a very friendly sales agent from Mondo to complete the order and credit verification, The lady confirmed that I was approved for a 24 month MTN voice and data contract including a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G device at R299.00pm x 24months, the sales agent advised that delivery will take place 3 to 10 working days. That evening I received my MTN order numbers with a Mondo sms track my order, I went on the Mondo website and when I typed my ID in it states that I have an open Vodacom order and a sales agent will contact me?? I immediatly sent an email to customer service with no reply and since today the system still shows an open Vodacom order. The customer service agent advised that I need to go to the nearest MTN shop to in hand the device to obtain a reference number form the MTN shop that the device is still in original packaging, I need to call Mondo Customer care with the reference number to cancel the MTN contract. I told the customer agent that I don't want to cancel the contract but to exchange it to the device originally ordered or equivalent. These ppl are scammers dont know where they get your information from and then states that they gave you a loan, I have been trying for over a year now to get the information regarding the alleged loan but to this day NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY VIA EMAIL and NO CALL BACK RECEIVED. Now there is a repossession order "Sheriff of the court" letter, well you ****** thieves take me to court and we will see who will be victorious at the end as you are unable to provide any feedback, proof or any means what so ever stating that you provided me with a loan. I will however hold Computech Credit Services liable for all cost incurred in order to have my name cleared for ITC listing. Computech Credit Services are SCAMMERS taking ppls hard earned money, preying on the poor and already struggling desperate families with a GUARANTEE LOAN. Then all of a sudden your bank gets debited you cant stop the debit order you can only reverse the amount causing you to change your account number. Computech has handed me over Sheriff of the Court letter, Repossession order (don't know what they are repossessing) but still running double debit orders each and every month on my account costing R120.00 x 2 =R240.00 in bank charges for returned debit order due to no funds but cant stop the debit order now the Bank wants me to pay R4320.00 for bank charges incurred for returned debit orders in order for the account to be closed.
