I read the bad reviews while I saw a laptop on special and I have twins doing matric I needed a laptop urgently I thought let me give them the benefit of the doubt. I bought a laptop online on the 21 August and I took care of it, keeping it on my work desk next to my work laptop. Lo and behold few days later the screen is blank. Called them for a return as it’s still in warranty and I am told it’s either it fell or in the sun or something dropped on it. I am told I need to get a quote for repair in which I am unable to pay. I regret being desperate and broke that I had faith in the company.
I placed an order with Uber eats and it was not the first time but this lady was so rude from the word go when i kept on saying I am waiting at the gate and her saying she is standing at my gate. I called her to give her directions as I know she was not far from me. She said it’s not her fault I gave wrong directions to Ubereats. I said I put my address on the app I didn’t give directions. I suggested she sends me a WhatsApp number I sent her my location. I called her giving verbal directions. She ended up sending me a picture of my order next to a gate I don’t even know I immediately went around where she says she was but my order was not there. Uber keeps on hiring unprofessional and rude women that are not even South African.
I am having a bad month financially and have been paying my Homeloan with absa regularly with no issues. I called them well in advance to do Payment arrangements and I was told no problem. On the debit order date it was debited I called for a reversal and I was told to wait 3 days when I called after 3 days they say it’s declined and I was not told that it can not be done on both my calls. I am here with a negative balance on my account and no food for my kids.
For the last 2years I have been getting calls about the DSTV explorer that I can rewind, record and and and. I always told them I am can not afford. Last year I received again the call and i told this guy I cannot afford paying my channels and the R179 and he said no madam do not worry that 179 include the channels as well. I asked him more than 5 times if he is sure. ‘Our calls are recorded mam’ While busy with that few days I receive another call from the same people telling me that I will be getting extra things on my contract by then it didn’t make sense I said no I am not interested. Guess what she activated an extra 159 something I do not even know I called them when I realized that there’s 159 that gets debited on my account and the 179 bounces. I spoke to Nomsa and she assured me that they will listen to that call and reverse all the debit orders and sent me an account number to pay doe the arrears of the 179. I called them on the 18th feb 2022 only to be told that they do not reverse any funds they can only cancel it. I tell them that I didn’t agree for the 159 I only agreed on the 179 which was sold to me with lies. Onair is full of crooks and the worst part Capitec told me I cannot reverse it block it because I approved the debicheck in which I explained I was approving for the 179 not 159. They are debiting both debit orders and all the sales pitch was a LIE.
It's a pity that I am loosing all my life savings because Scorpion is failing to trace someone that is living here in South Africa. My case is 3 years old all I get is emails going back and forth from the lawyer to the Legal representative. Scorpion is a big company I thought, they can't be searching for a person for 3 years. I will not be able to cope because my case is expiring after 3 years and i have reported this immediately to Scorpion. My life is finished.
Cashier Tsakani always gives me the best service. If I want to know anything she takes extra mile to go and ask for that information. She’s always nice despite the fact that this Shoprite is in Braamfischer .

I am paying for an extended warranty for my tv that I bought at game westgate, last month it stopped working. They came to fetch it on the 19/11/2018 I kept on doing a follow up and on the 11/12/2018 I went to the shop asking for a refund as the t&cs says if they cant fix it within 21 days they must refund you. I had my receipts and I spoke the service manager and she said the company that fixes is closed since it was late but she will call me in the morning today. its 01:30pm now no call. I have to cut my work to go there again today in which I will be loosing on my commission gain.
