They put a hold on inheritance funds as it comes into my account, but they don't contact me at all to notify me of this. I had to find out due to a failed payment. I sent all the documents from the executor. 24 hours later, there's still a hold on my funds and I can't pay my expenses. No reference number, no response to emails. Placing a hold on large amounts makes sense, but not contacting the person and not responding to them is unacceptable and amounts to incompetence and disregard for their customers. Please avoid this bank.
Terrible service. There has been issues with creditors not correcting my credit record for multiple years, yet Debt Solutions for U ignores my emails and is clearly not interested in correcting the issue. Avoid this company.
Worst customer service in South Africa. If you choose to use them, don't expect them to ever answer emails or get anything done.

I ordered a Fibre line around 2 months ago. Installation was completed and they started billing me but it has never worked. The service light never came on. Metrofibre came to fix it, damaged the cables at the bottom of my street and has done nothing to get it sorted out since then. Avoid Afrihost. Avoid Metrofibre.

I have the most expensive 5G package that Rain offers. Speeds during the day are as advertised, but between 6PM & 11PM it becomes unusable. This is the most important part of the day to have a stable connection and it simply fails to reach even 2mb/s
OTP codes are never sent so you can never make a purchase. No response from their email addresses or Whatsapp. Avoid this service. There are MUCH better alternatives.

In Feb, a payment incorrectly came off my account 3 times. A dispute was logged and the product was refunded. The 2 incorrect payments were reversed by FNB and the refund was issued by the merchant. All 3 payments was correctly returned. Last week, FNB decided to reverse one of the payments again, mistaking the refund as the merchant reversing one of the payments. I sent an email with all details, showing where they made the mistake, but have received NO response. My account has been left in the negative due to this and has been rendered unusable for more than a week due to a mistake made by FNB that they refuse to correct. I will be logging this with the Ombudsman today. If you can, stay away from FNB or move to another bank while you can.
