I was in the process of signing a lease agreement for a 12 month period when Consult Corp approached me, stating that they had a client who wished to sign for 24 months. I was thrilled and subsequently signed a lease agreement through Consult Corp. The tenant paid a two month deposit over to Consult Corp plus one month’s rental. The first month I received my rental from Consult Corp but the second month the tenant paid the rental but it was never paid over to me. Consult Corp disappeared with the rental and deposit! I later learned that the so called 24 montg contract was forged..the tenant only signed for 4 months but it was changed to 24 months by Consult Corp.
Firstly, let me start by saying I have been a loyal supporter of Holster for the past 5 years. Every season I purchase one or two pairs of sandals (I actually get teased about having the same sandal in different colours!). However, I am now in possession of at least 3 pairs of Holsters, all fairly new, that have broken in such a way that they are impossible to fix. This really is disappointing as I have no problem paying a premium for good quality shoes that are going to last, but I am now rethinking Holster quality. When I contacted them to complain they stated that the shoes are unfortunately outside of the 6 month warranty period so I cannot exchange or get a refund. In other words, Holsters are only made to last for 6 months? Considering sandals are seasonal and probably only worn for 2 months at a time, this means that it essentially costs R 500 plus per month to wear a pair of Holsters before you can chuck them in the bin. Disgusting, Holster, you have not only lost a loyal customer but I will advise all my friends not to buy Holsters!
I took my puppy to Valley Farm Animal Hospital last Sunday as I had noted that the one side of his head above his eye looked "dented in" (muscle wastage). Being an after hours consultation, the fee is a hefty R 1 750, but I was prepared to pay this as I was very concerned since my puppy had been very ill earlier this year. A series of blood tests were done and the total bill amounted to R 3 600. I was told that some of the blood tests had to be sent away for analysis but that I should receive feedbackv shortly. When I had heard nothing by Wednesday, I tried to contact the vet but was told that she was unavailable, so I left a message. When I phoned a second time to ask whether the results had actually come back I was told only the vets can see this (reception is not able to see when results are back). My phone call was never returned. The next day I tried again but the vet was unavailable so I left a message. Again my phone call was not returned so I left a further message. THe next morning I tried again and was told that the vet was again not available. I then requested that the blood results be sent to Noag Diere Kliniek so that I can go and consult a vet there instead. At this point I was put through to the vet I had been trying to speak to all week, and was told that my puppy was infected with the Neospora parasite and that medication was being prescribed. No further details about the condition was given; I literally had to google what this entailed, only to find out that this is a serious and life threatening parasite, which could lead to paralysis and death. By this time my puppy's face on both had been badley affected, above and below the eyes. I have now moved my puppy to Noag Dierekliniek where additional medication has been prescribed and his condition is taken seriously. So far, whenever I have tried to contact the vet at Noag, I have been either able to speak to him immediately or he has returned my call within 30 minutes. What a relief!!
Ive had the displeasure of using Bolt twice today.. both times the vehicles were filthy, drivers dont drive well and I had to endure music blaring in my ears. Very unprofessional compared to uber.
Very unhappy with my most recent interaction with Dotsure as I have been waiting for 20 plus days for feedback on my claim. I have telephoned several times and just get sent from pillar to post.
Wow! On my sister's recommendation I took out medical aid for my two cats a couple of months ago and have had to claim on 3 occassions. I am SO IMPRESSED by Dotsure's level of service, their communication and speedy settlement of claims. I couldn't be happier!
So sorry I ever did business with this company. I purchased a cabinet on facebook from Crown Auctioneers (Mohammed). In the picture where it was advertised the cabinet looked brand new and had keys in the locks, which is why I bought it since I needed it to store confidential information. I paid R 600 delivery as Crown is based in Vereeniging. Arrangements were made to deliver the cabinet before a certain time as I was going out later. Unfortunately the delivery was late and I was therefore not available when it arrived; my daughter therefore took delivery on my behalf. When I inspected the cabinet one of the doors were locked and there were no keys in any of the locks. I immediately notified Crown, who said they would courier the keys. Needless to say, this never happened. After countless follow ups from my side and them not responding to my messages and ignoring my calls I was told that they did not have keys for the cabinet but would send out a locksmith to open the locked door and cut keys for all the locks. The locksmith subsequently gave them a quotation and tried to follow up with them. I also tried to follow up with them but every time I tried to phone or message I would be ignored. The only way to reach them was from a different phone number (which they incidentally answered every time), only to give me another nonsense story. It is now six weeks later. The cabinet door is still locked and for me to get it unlocked will cost around R 600 (Crown clearly has no intention of honouring their commitment with regard to either posting me the keys or getting a locksmith to unlock the cabinet). Crown has advised that they are willing to collect and refund me for the cabinet (yeah right) if I pay another R 600 for collection. I am so disappointed by their lack of integrity and work ethic. and this is definitely the last time I buy anything on facebook!
I purchased an Asus laptop for my daughter in January this year. Last week it became faulty and since she is in matric and needs it for her schooling during lockdown I made my way to Makro Woodmead. When I arrived, the security guard noticed the laptop in my arms and told me that if it is faulty I won't be able to have it repaired since the "returns" department is not working currently and even if they were working, it would take 2 weeks to be repaired. I explained that I could not wait 2 weeks for repairs as my daughter is in matric and needed the laptop for her studies. He then called Modise Motsepe (apparently a manager) to assist. I again explained the situation to Modise who asked me to get proof from the school that my daughter is in fact in matric, etc. so that he could assist. He gave me his email address for the documents to be mailed to him. I arranged for this to be done and he then asked for a copy of my ID document as well. Modise then had me complete some forms and took me to the computer section and told me that his sales people would assist me further. He told me to tell them all is fine; he has all the paperwork with him. The salespeople proceeded to take down the details of the faulty laptop and went to their stores to find another. Due to the fact that they were out of stock of the particular laptop, they then showed me other other options. These were slightly more expensive, but since this was urgent I was willing to pay in the difference. When it came to payment, I was suddenly advised that I had to pay the full amount for the new laptop and if I wanted the old one (which is only 3 months old) I would have to bring it back after laptop since their technicians are not currently working. I then asked them to call Modise as he had led me to understand that I could swop the faulty laptop for a new one due to the fact that he was trying to help me under the circumstances. When Modise arrived he confirmed what the sales people had said, that I would have to purchase a new laptop and send the faulty one for repairs once lockdown is over. I was absolutely flabbergasted! When I wanted to take a photo of Modise Motsepe's name badge he told me I had no right to do so. I then asked him to write his name down for me as I wanted to lay a complaint, and he told me to write it down myself. Two hours later I left the store livid, still with no solution. I can't have an IT person open the laptop to see what is wrong as this would void the warranty and at the same time my daughter cannot continue her schooling until the technicians at Makro return to work after lockdown! Such incompetence I haven't come across in a long time. I will be sure not to make any purchases at Makro in future as the after sales service is non-existant!
