Issues with router, so i had a ZTE RAIN router which started to fail and for a year i called and called Rain to replace the ZTE, i asked to not degrade my router, as the ZTE worked very well, and fast. Every time i did call, they offered me a new contract to the package that has their router, which does not take a SIM, this cost more for less speed, and as per my contract, RAIN is required to supply a router if the one i have breaks. I dont want a whole new SLOWER contract that costs me more every month, and this would also be ********* for them to only offer me this new package, as well as a violation of the contract. Since they would not do anything i purchased a TP-Link 5G router, which with the SIM in gets perfect signal, but due to RAIN blocking devices with their firmware, it could not connect so i wasted R5000. So they finally come to exchange and give me a used OPPO router. I even asked the call centre agent, and the delivery guy, if it was a downgrade and they all assured me it was a newer model and therefore a better, upgrade, compared to my previous router. And it was not an upgrade and quite frankly a hard DOWNGRADE, not only are the hardware specs of the OPPO a lower tier than the old ZTE i was using (I had the ZTE for around 4 years already and know even new ZTE routers are upgrades) but the signal is a lot worse in the same place in the house, i have to reboot it weekly now, or else it seems to be on a second slower tower, and it is affecting my daily work so my life. Old ZTE: 150Mb/s to 200Mb/s New OPPO: 50Mb/s to 100Mb/s if i am lucky but usually around 80Mb/s I need a router EQUIVALENT or an UPGRADE from the ZTE, i have called so many times, left email and messages on their Chat Bot,. always promised i would get a call back and given a ticket number, and never hear another thing. This is pathetic service, and no wonder iBurst died how it did, RAIN may be following in those footsteps.
Please DONT use Fines4U. Not only did they ***** my money, they invoiced me for ALREADY PAID OFF FINES, as well as accessed my companies fine's information without being mandated to do so. They also ignore emails, which had clear proof of the fines being INVALID, and dont care about anyone but themselves. Rather go with anyone else, even to the Traffic Department, at least that way you will actually pay off the fines you have, without lies and false promises. The owner is also so high on her horse, she thinks that she is untouchable. We will see.
Wow. They allow this sort of rubbish on the road, and have the audacity to say it's low maintenance and a cheap to run car. I'm talking about the Renault Kwid, 2019 model, that now at only 50000km we need to change the brake discs, I had a Honda Type R limited edition, so track spec, and those discs would last at least 60k, not to mention an issue with original disc, which seems warped yet telling Renault did nothing just meant new pads every service. Add to that a new exhaust, we where told was 1 piece, yet when put on the car, it's clearly 2 pieces, and hey the new one is leaking and can be heard easily but we told there is no issue. Avoid Renault if this is the rubbish they sell and service they attempt to give.
So 3 weeks ago I purchased some new clothes, including mens boxers which I usually purchase, and I have probably worn each pair of boxers twice each, so far 2 pairs of these boxers which either come in sets of 3 or 4 for around R300 are already broken and falling apart, this is disgusting and since I am not allowed returning boxers it means Edgars made a huge profit on selling me their rubbish. All the other boxers I have ever purchased last up to a year or more, yet these are just highly priced rubbish, I do not believe on the higher price for EDGARS clothes which are now also worse quality. Please bring back the old brands like Jockey that are actually made properly, and people don’t have to waste their hard earned money on your extremely low quality brand. If you don’t know how to do thinks properly, then don’t do them and rather leave it up to the professionals.
So, have just had issue after issue with an order, with some extremely dodge doings on TAKEALOT side. So i ordered a Lenovo Laptop after calling TAKEALOT and making sure there was stock of the model i wanted, and i even paid the extra R95 for next day delivery as it was urgent. So, next day it is delivered, i was not there but someone was handed it, since no paper work, no signing, nothing, which is already not a good thing. The person who received it, with nothing to reference the product was correct, etc as well as the fact it would have passed 3 to 4 different departments on its way from the supplier, to the driver, the warehouse and then the next driver who delivered it. Thats where the whole issue is, NOT 1 PERSON ON THAT WHOLE PROCESS EVEN CHECKED THE PART NUMBER, and what was delivered to me was to most peoples eyes the same thing, it was a different model number but it had identical specifications, my problem was i wanted a model that could take a NVMe M.2, and had done my research. The model they had sent although was identical specs was a lower model and didnt have all the same features, like a M.2 slot. This also meant that this model was cheaper than what i had ordered. What is scary about that is, it was not an overly expensive laptop, and it was for my mother, who does not keep up with technology and all, and well i am sure there are many people just like her going for this deal what did look well priced, had it been the correct model. So when i got to the laptop, and without really thinking i needed to check the model number, got started on recovering my mothers other laptop that crashed. While cloning the old HDD to the new SSD, i decided to check settings so i knew the clone would work, turned it on and... Model Number comes on the screen, the wrong model number. Contacted TAKEALOT first thing the next day as it was already late since i was busy all day with a server install. The arrangement to collect the laptop had to be moved to my fathers house up the road, and after 5 attempts to give the address details and maybe 7-8 emails with the new address, i thought they must have got these details, yet the next day i am called while i was at a client, cause the driver is at my gate, i tried to call the driver and explain my father was 2 minutes drive from me as we needed to get this credit so we could buy another laptop ASAP. I also called the TAKEALOT consultant, who promised me he would get the device collected later that day, which was one of many recorded lies from this whole ordeal. Bear in mind since TAKEALOT makes the clients request invoices from 3rd parties, even though TAKEALOT was the one that took my money, meaning they should have some proof to say money was received and item was therefore paid for by TAKEALOT to the third party, and well, it took almost 2 weeks just to get the invoice, and that driver came the next week Monday, even though i was promised that day, a Thursday, as well as for the Friday, and the Saturday, that it would be collected. So now the laptop was at TAKEALOT, who then informs me it takes up to 2 days to return to supplier, and then up to 5 working days for investigation, even though the part number i ordered and what i received WAS INCORRECT. Since they were now messing me around and we needed a laptop urgently we had to spend more money elsewhere. Hoping the money would be paid back soon. I called daily and emailed daily with false promise after false promise coming back. I had also asked for the results of the investigation, as this whole thing was getting more and more dodge, especially since i have email proof from TAKEALOT who contacted the 3rd party supplier to check stock and was told there were almost 10 units left... Add the multiple checks where the staff missed something so important like a PART NUMBER, which is usually what a driver / collections crew would have to make checks with to make sure they have the correct items... Anyways, now i was trying to get my refund back as soon as possible, and i sent my credit card details, the same details used on TAKEALOT to purchase the items, 4 times by email, twice over a whats app account i was given to speed up the process and even gave the details over a recorded call. And no matter what the next day i would be asked again. After a week of this i was fed up and gave them a last ultimatum, or i was going to go open a case of theft and fraud. On the day of the promised refund / ultimatum they informed me they had refunded and i must check my account in 2 days. Which then started it all up again, checked after 2, which was before a long weekend, and i knew would have been done in that way so they could blame the long weekend. I waited therefore till the following Tuesday to allow the banks time to run through transactions in their business hours. And when it was still not there, i called once again, only to be told that after i sent the bank details for the exact same account / cc they had done the purchase on, so many times they had no excuse to say they didnt have the details as i had delivery receipts and read receipts for most of the emails as well as my recorded call as proof... And what am i told... THEY CREDITED MY ACCOUNT, so i have a credit on my TAKEALOT account. As you can imagine, this has wasted so many hours of my life already, their response to that issue now, was it takes up to 5 working days now again for the refund to be moved from the TAKEALOT account to the bank account, and yes, THEY ASKED ME TO SEND THE DETAILS ONCE AGAIN. That refund finally came in a week and a half later, or in business days it was 7 days and well, i thought it was over, but have still asked at least twice a week for a credit note, since we need this for our records. Reading the invoice 3 days ago i noticed an issue with the VAT amount on the original invoice, which i now need changed for my companies records, so that my side is done correctly and yes, i still need a CREDIT NOTE with the correct details on as well, as this is a requirement of SARS and is the law. Yet people at TAKEALOT seem to not follow these laws and as it stands they overcharged on VAT, so it would have helped them to do this all correctly so they can resolve their accounting issues so they dont have SARS problems on their side. I do also still believe, since i was lied to, in order for me to place the order which was not the correct item, as well as made all the above issues, they should refund the delivery charges as well, i will be sending the relevant incorrect invoice, with the VAT discrepancy to SARS since i am still pretty much ignored by TAKEALOT, and after wasting over 3 hours just this week, trying to speak to someone at TAKEALOT, to try resolve this issue, and not even talking to 1 person since i guess they either have lost their respect for their clients or somehow have become like one of the countries SOE's and only care about themselves now.... Which is a very bad turn for what seemed like a very good ethical company once before, just shows how a country's people can only follow the paths, of those they see as leaders!
Compendium was my companies insurance BROKER for must be 20 years now. They were always very good, and did what we needed from them, being BROKERS and for a FLEET, they were a bit more expensive but we paid for SERVICE, or so we thought. So in December 2016, on attempting to overtake a slow bakkie, i had followed over 1km from my house, and had been going slow the whole time with over 10 cars behind me to prove this and with 2 cars successfully overtaking as well, i indicated while a car went passed and when then i started to overtake, as i passed the bakkie, without indication or warning it turned right, into a complex, it hit the read back panel of my car, and i spun and hit a small upright log on the other side of the road to stop people parking on the grass. I took photos of everything, and could drive home. The 1 .5 (So 1 month and 2 weeks) month fix took over 4 months, it was before December holidays and the vehicle was at the panel beater during the holidays, my 14 days car hire, on insurance, which i had factored in, expired before end of the holidays, which since agreed with the panel beater, if i had dropped off the vehicle in December still, the parts order, would have landed in RSA from HONDA (HONDA parts not in RSA need 1 month to import, this is all HONDA parts and has been the case for years) before when the holidays had ended, which meant no more than 1.5 months. After 2 months my TRACKER informed me the vehicle was being driven, and when i confronted the panel beater, a week later the tracker unit was destroyed, as well as my central locking and window module, after 3 months, i had been twice to collect, and both times there were items not done, LIKE RESPRAYING THE DOOR?? Repairs were done on the door, but NO PAINT, and i decided to call Compendium, Indhrin, who had been our consultant for years, when he complained to the panel beater, DANMAR, they promised to fix issues and allowed a courtesy car, so i had been 2 months with no car, and being a consultant, not much work i could do. DANMAR also replaced 1 tyre, with betterment payment, of course. There was a very bad shudder after the accident, which DANMAR and COMPENDIUM would not allow release of the vehicle until it was sorted, the vehicle went to an ALIGNMENT SPECIALIST who had it on a rig to check it was all straight, and bent what was needed straight, i was told i need a second new tyre, and DANMAR, who already overcharged for a CONTINENTAL CONTISPORT 5, when i had CONTISPORT 3's which were still available, charged even more for the new tyre, over R4000, which after leaving the invoice in my vehicle, after the driver had run out of petrol twice driving to collect a tyre, in MY VEHICLE, and must not have been thinking since i had waited for 2 hours, and the just over R2000 for a R4000 charged tyre invoice was there. I returned it, and signed all forms, paid all excess and was just happy to leave, since there was no petrol (while the form states half tank when it was dropped off, and half tank means 200+ km, yet they didnt drive it at all supposedly) i drove to the petrol station, so close you can see DANMAR from the petrol station, and when there, had to CLIMB OUT MY WINDOW since the door did not unlock and the window was now stuck open, after filling up, i went straight back to DANMAR, where i was told the manager who dealt with it had left. I left DANMAR WESTRAND and called INDHRIN at COMPENDIUM straight away on a recorded call. He assured me all would be dealt with. So when in November 2016, my 2 x brand new, CONTINENTAL CONTISPORT 5's had rubber falling off of them, while the then 2 year old CONTINENTAL CONTISPORT 3's were still fine, as well as had more tread, started giving bad issues, and i took the car to BLACK HEATH continental dealers, who would not allow me to leave without new tyres, i called INDHRIN who said i needed to take photos of all 4 tyres, to show the issues so he could allow a claim, i was in the hospital the day before, and didnt feel much like anything, and the dealer said i could use the lift, but needed to remove all tyres, etc, myself. I did this and sent all details to COMPENDIUM, as well as rotated the tyres, to the back. After waiting for COMPENDIUMS reply for 1 hour, i could not wait anymore as the dealer needed to close, and i was allowed to leave since bad tyres were on the rear. To this day COMPENDIUM has done nothing. I still wait and since they sent a second assessor to assess these issues as well as new issues with another accident after i was driven into THE REAR OF MY VEHICLE, after a STOP STREET, and then beaten up by the other driver + a police officer as he arrived, they started hitting me, and then i was arrested with no accident case opened. Well, the new assessor, since i showed him the windows work, the issue is a plastic fitting broken by DANMAR, which he agreed to, as well as the door issue, where if vehicle is locked and pull the lever, i cant open it when unlocked on the driver side, also due to a bad repair (DANMAR stated wear and tear, yet if they work today still 20/08/2018, then they are fine, yet the fittings not holding them in place are not fine, and NOT MY FAULT). When the assessor from CIG, looked at the tyres, which have strips of rubber missing, not just bits, whole 10cm strips, he informed me there needs to be a test of the tyres done by DANMAR, and has anything happened. NO. Add to this, on the new accident case, which in October 2017, i was driven into, arrested, etc. The case was thrown out on the Monday from the Meyerton PD, after i stayed there Friday night, all of Saturday and Sunday morning, in the holding cells. I was awarded my bail money back. COMPENDIUM sent a FORENSIC DETECTIVE, before the vehicle was even allowed to go for repairs, this after another ASSESSOR was sent by COMPENDIUM. If i was driven into it means its not my fault, confirmed by COMPENDIUM as well as my legal advisors, and after filling in an affidavit with the FORENSIC DETECTIVE, who had taken it into MEYERTON PD, and who told me there was no accident case even opened, only a case of DRUNK IN PUBLIC, its proof of more problems. I had in the time, gone to a MD to have a case form filled out, so i could open a case against MEYERTON PD and the other driver, who had my details and hounded me WHILE I WAS STILL LOCKED UP, for money, which i had sent proof of to COMPENDIUM. If i did not have these details, there would be no other driver details. MEYERTON PD told me it is not an assault case, and they wont open a case. I took it further complaining to a SAPS complaints department in PRETORIA, i have emails, which i sent to COMPENDIUM both to and FROM the SAPS, to confirm, and SAPS not only assigned 2 x detectives, from MEYERTON which i said is not right, but then from VEREENIGING PD, which MEYERTON PD is a sister station to, which i said was also not right, and now i wait for the next PD, with a new IPID case opened for this issue. COMPENDIUM in the mean time, has delayed completion for the accident repairs, and NEW NATIONAL, the real insurer, since COMPENDIUM is a broker, has said they are awaiting the case before going further, right now THE WRONG BUMPER HAS BEEN FITTED, which COMPENDIUM knows about, the ASSESSOR and PANEL BEATER are fighting over, since one of them made an error, and since the vehicle was OVER A MONTH LATE, on this repair, due to this issue, I LOST ANOTHER MONTH OF BUSINESS. AM I OFFERED A COURTESY CAR NOW, NO, I AM TOLD I NEED TO LEAVE MY VEHICLE AT THE NEW PANEL BEATER, AUTOHAUS, WHILE THEY REPAIR NOT ONLY THE BUMPER, BUT MORE THAN 50% OF THE DAMAGE, WHICH THEY IGNORED AFTER FINDING THE WRONG BUMPER WAS INSTALLED. I am also told i need to pay for the over R10000 bumper, when i did my homework, and since my Type-R only comes in 4 colours, the parts can be ordered, ALREADY SPRAYED / COLOUR CODED, and the 2 parts, from HONDA cost less than R6000 for the CORRECT BUMPER. I complain and complain and now when i ask for OMBUDSMAN details, i keep getting SHORT TERM INSURANCE ombudsman details, which means NEW NATIONAL. NEW NATIONAL did not assign the ASSESSOR, or the FORENSIC DETECTIVE, they did not appove the claim, they deny the already approved claim now, BUT, only due to COMPENDIUMS bad SERVICE. Therefore this is not the correct OMBUDSMAN, and trying to find the correct one is not helping my case. The wheels are not aligned with no alignment report after new accident, and i had to replace badly worn to one side tyres already, with the report, i can send to anyone who wants it, showing a bad alignment FOR THE SIDE MAINLY FIXED BY AUTOHAUS. So there is a huge issue right now, and i am being ignored. My company has had to move to another insurer, in the mean time, since we could not get clarification on what we were insured for, and what vehicles were insured, while NEW NATIONAL waited for a case, for a DRUNK IN PUBLIC, which was thrown out of court.
I wish i could give minus stars, since this is now on 4 years. VODACOM, since you cancelled my SIM card, 1 year into the 2 year RED ADVANTAGE contract without warning, i need to claim loss of busines, since i had my ********** 248 number, over 25 years, it was my business, my personal and my life line, in the end. Since you also refunded R8000 from only 1 month of the now 48 months, incorrect charges, yet you attempt to black list me for some small under R2000 fee, well, if you refund the other 47 illegally charged months minus the few i have other credits for, possibly another 4 or 5 at the most, well R1000 over 47 months, is R47000, minus lets say 6 months credited already, that is R41000. Minus the R2000 max you have attempted to blacklist me for that is R39000. Do you know it is illegal to blacklist someone without resolving all of your queries, and this does include proper PROVABLE resolutions, not sending an automated SMS every 2 days after a report, stating the case is closed due to no reply, I CANT REPLY YOU CANCELLED MY SIM, A SIM I PAID FOR AND WHICH WAS WORKING PERFECTLY, how can i reply, would this not also mean FRAUD since you lie about CASE RESOLUTION?? Add to that the FALSE CEO's i have recorded calls, SMS and EMAILS from, all lies, which is easy to prove since the CEO needs to be recorded at the time they are the CEO, more FRAUD. Add to that the huge loss of income i can prove on my bank statements and companies bank statements, for a cancelled sim, when the very VODACOM contract states, the line will be open for incoming calls UNTIL THE CONTRACT HAS EXPIRED, that is a year still after cancellation. Add to that, the query you cancelled the SIM, not the contract or number, only the SIM since i am not allowed porting the number, which as per ICASA should be allowed if the contract is void or cancelled, and i cant do, means you are at fault. My R40 ********** 0 income has gone to at best R6000 a month due to VODACOM, and i am not at fault, add that VODACOM has credited me on numerous occasions FOR THE SAME FAULT, yet only ever for 1 month, and this is more than enough needed for a court room, and i dont even need representation, the facts and recorded calls tell the story. WHAT IS GOING ON AT VODACOM, I KNOW ZUMA *****ED UP RSA, WHY FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE? And VODACOM, an automated reply wont do here, i want an open discussion, i am not afraid of my number being in the open since you destroyed it and my life so far, i dont care what the resolution is since if it is proven, it legally can be said. So please, reply only on here, so the other VODACOM subscribers can see the proof, and any VODACOM subsrcibers needing more proof, PM me and i can upload all calls/statements/emails and SMS proof, to a public share. PLEASE BE WARNED, THERE ARE OVER 200 HOURS OF RECORDED CALLS, JUST IN 2017 ALONE SO THERE WILL BE A LOT OF PROOF.
So i had my brake pads, for my Honda Civic Type R replaced, and after the initial replacement, there was a HUGE noise when i was, say, parking or even turning at low speed, there was a constant shudder braking and even a bad shudder if braking over 100km, which i know due to previous experience, was a BRAKE DISC problem. I informed Xpress Brake, and they sent some people to have a look, who after a 10 minute test drive, took off the driver side wheel, and FIXED THE NOISE ISSUE, as well as most of the normal driving shudder, SO THERE WAS AN ISSUE, and they took the vehicle, for 30 minutes on a joy ride, knowing i needed to leave ASAP, and ignoring this fact. When i then drove the vehicle on the highway again, i was shocked to not only have a constant shudder, but braking from 120 was so bad it made the vehicle hard to control, i informed Xpress Brake, who said I NEEDED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THEM on a weekend when Johan can look at the problem??? I already didnt drive the vehicle unless locally, so after them wasting a day, FINDING AN ISSUE, and then expecting me to do more, when i had paid IN FULL, is disgusting. I will now be opening a case with the ombudsman since Xpress Brakes seems to lack ethics, and will post the outcomes on here.
If i could give a lower rating i WOULD, For over 3 years now, as my HelloPeter complaints can even prove, i have had VODACOM taking my money, with no proof other than a "CONTENT SERVICES" charge on my account. I have continually asked for proof of these services, and yet for 3 god damn years, i still have no proof. To make things worse, VODACOM not only hard blocked my number, but deleted my ACCOUNT, which has nothing to do with my number, since it is an online account, BUT, did allow me to see my invoices and statements that kept changing, which i am not worried about SINCE I MADE SURE TO SEND ALL THESE TO MYSELF EVERY 2 WEEKS, or AS THEY ILLEGALLY CHANGED. The reason i stayed with VODACOM, is because the number was over 20 years old and i still have the original NUMBER FOR LIFE, SIM card holder, pin and puk. Since it was sold as a NUMBER FOR LIFE, legally it was my number, FOR LIFE, but it has been deleted from VODACOMs system other than the LEGAL department. When i ask the legal department for proof, i am ignored, when i have had answers, AFTER SENDING MY GOOGLE PLAY STATEMENT TO VODACOM, which most months are R0.00, i am still told the R1000.00 a month is GOOGLE PLAY, Now i am threatened by VODACOM, without them even calling or emailing me to... even speak about the issue, and they have ruined my credit rating, as well as destroyed my business and my life. I have over 100 recorded hours for 2017, attempting to resolve this issue, i have more hours if looking at call logs, if my phone could not record the calls, it is nearly 200 wasted hours of my time for 2017 alone, i want that money back. I want my loss of income back, i want my life back. Add to that, VODACOM was just found GUILTY as to not cancelling WASPS that were in their favor, which when i had cancelled a WASP, i have proof of VODACOM saying they cancelled it, and amazingly it REACTIVATED that month, they never cancelled it. Also the R1000 a day "VODACOM APPS AND GAMES" WASP??? VODACOM WASP... So not a WASP a scam.
Why, and not only Cell C although they are BAD at sending CELL C WASPS, at least CELL C sends SMS to offer them, UNLIKE VODACOM. My issue is, why send WASP SMS, if WASPS are so bad, well obviously they PAY Cell C for these services, but WHY steal from your clients, directly or indirectly. Will be complaining about VODACOM as well, and they are far far worse, R1000 a month with no proof for 3 years worse, in fact.
