Best service received from Sharon Honiball in our home loan application and bond registration. She is simply one in a million and we will recommend this firm at anytime. She was patient, friendly and kind. Sharon kept to her word and promise. Today we are home owners.
My wife and I bought a 2017 BMW from Kaloo motors on the 17.4.2025 and was promised that the car was in great condition which it is rightfully so. Not long after taking collection of the car i notices some stuff that i was not happy about and questioned it, namely the lighter port not working, the car having scratches on it that i never seen when viewing the car, the USB port not working and the full service history records of the car being missing since it was advertised and bought as having FSH. This then told me that the car was not inspected upon delivery which i questioned. I was dealing with Abdullah who showed me the car and who sold me the car, himself and Mimi done the paper work. I waited long for the Service History to be found which eventually they found and sent to me. I subsequently noticed that the rear driver passenger door does not lock when you lock the car with the key which i also brought to their attention. These things they took the car in for and replaced these things. I then noticed that the car has no jack, tyre pump or nut spanner which Abdullah at first gave me a story saying these cars don't come with these things in it. I should buy them separately but then he supp**** me with the jack and wheel spanner as i already bought my own electric tyre pump. The following weekend while my wife is on her way to PTA the car breaks down with a Water Pipe burst it being the Oil Cooler Filter housing. I needed to out of my pocket pay for the towing service to get the car to Kaloo's mechanic and was left without a car for a few days. Kaloo sorted it out at no cost to me. Exactly a week after that on the 23 May 2025 i received a error on the cluster saying - Cruise Control Failure. The car this time is back to Kaloo but now they give a curtesy car. Car is there for 5 days now. Get the car back and all is well. The Paint scratches was not completely removed but then i noticed that they guy who came to apply the paint rubbed something on the car but then scratched the bonnet of the car which i just left otherwise the car will be there again for longer. On the 4th June 2025 we get a Bill from Kaloo Motors saying they put through a claim on our Extended Warranty Policy for the value of R10766.01 for the Steering Spiral housing that was replaced by them. They never told us 1stly that they going to put through a claim on our policy which is *****, if we knew that we were going to be liable for the cost we would taken the car straight to BMW for this part and fitment because we have a policy that covers these things and lastly according the the Consumer Protection Act - When buying a car from a dealership in South Africa, the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) provides several protections for the buyer, including an imp**** warranty of quality, a six-month return period for defects, and the right to choose a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund). The CPA also requires dealers to be truthful in their advertising and prohibits misleading representations about the vehicle's condition. Abdullah advised that if we do not authorize this repairs from our policy then Kaloo motors won't fix anything during the 6 month period because it's like we breaking a relationship with them. Since we bought the car it's been more there at their Mechanic then with us. All i'm saying is these guys have no integrity. They sell nice cars but you have to be one up for them.

Worst company to do business with ever. Their Client service and Ethics are just appalling but quick to take your money and sign you up. I have a Policy currently which I was not happy taking out merely because I was forced to cancel my Existing Policy with Liquid Capital which was cheaper then the current one. When I tried claiming then I was informed that I cannot claim due to me being mis-advised which was not my problem but had to cancel and re-sign up again for a higher premium because Motus's Parts has subsequently increased. I have a refund due to me from the previous policy which Liquid Capital is also dragging to pay out.
This is the worst bunch of liars one could possibly get. They had a car fall from a carrier truck, their insurance paid for the repairs of the car. They then sold the car to me as being brand new through a McCarthy group. When I questioned this they denied it yet i'm sitting with the fact and a defective car. VW Hatfield Rivonia just left a bad taste in my mouth and changed my perspective of their Integrity and Loyalty to their customers. This is definitely not the dealer to have your vehicle inspected and repaired at is you do not have a Maintenance Plan of some sort. Service Advisor Terry Perumal is the only one at this dealer willing to help but can only to a certain extent as she is not a Technician or a manager. My 2018 VW Polo had a stuther and loss of power from time to time costing over R77000.00 in trouble shooting repairs and took This dealer 5 attempts to repair the car. Every-time they replace something they give you reassurance that the car is fixed only for the problem to persist. While your car is at their workshop you need to follow up as they lack in giving feedback. I'm very disappointing in this Dealer Principal Lourens Steyn, Service Manager Darren Channer and the technicians at Rivonia Hatfield Volkswagen.
If Ever Anyone Wants To Purchase a Vehicle, Service a Vehicle or simply need Advise, Simply Go Into that Dealership. There is a Lady by the Name of Terry Perumal, this woman goes above and beyond to make and keep Hatfield Rivonia's clients happy. This dealership has Integrity, they are Loyal to there customers(Family) are treated with respect and kindness. McCarthy West-gate sold me a vehicle that had fallen from a carrier truck as brand new and never disclosed it to me but Hatfield pointed out the defects. My Vehicle went in for a Check yesterday and Hatfield Provided us with a borrowed vehicle being a later model then our vehicle they were checking out, to top it off they sent a driver over 35km away to fetch my wife so that they could give her the borrowed vehicle. I never seen service excellence like this from any other dealership. Well Done VW Hatfield Rivonia!!!!!!!
I was sold a brand New Car without prior damages of the car being disclosed to me. When querying this I was lied to and it was denied until I obtained a AA Dekra report and until the Dealership Accidently sent me proof of partial repairs of the vehicle. The vehicle had fallen from a Carrier truck and was then repaired by AutoHause Paint and Panel in Randburg. The Dealership was Informed by Miosa that giving me a new vehicle was amicable but the day after the Miosa ruling the dealership re-tracked the offer of giving me a new vehicle and now only wished to repair the vehicle but according their own discretion and not according to the AA Dekra Report obtained. Volkswagen South Africa Authorised payment for the repairs carried out on the vehicle. McCarthy Westgate sold me the vehicle but it was pulled from McCarthy Constantia Volkswagen. McCarthy Westgate failed to do an inspection when the car was delivered there and their Dealer Principal and the New Car Sales Manager Anton Pillay and Dawid Dawie De Beer treated me badly and manipulated me. Hendrik Vermaak who is the head of McCarthy treated me as if I wanted money from him and never wanted to write the wrong. Many Brand New Vehicles from McCarthy Constantia Kloof till now are being repaired by AutoHaus Paint and Panel for Jaco Opperman who is the New Car sales Manager at Bidvest McCarthy Constantia Kloof. Kilokor motors sold me the worst piece of junk one could imagine. They buy cars from the auction and sell them to public at high prices. My car was bumped and I didn't know about it. My car had a Machenic al problem they could not solve I. Their so called Machenical workshop they have in their back street behind their dealership. Bunch of no goods is you ask me. My car rains inn from the time I bought it till now. Mxm......
