Claim Refused after obtaining authorisation
I was referred by my Doctor for an eye test. I went onto the discovery app and found a networked optometrist which is allocated to my specific plan. Upon arrival authorisation was obtained from Discovery by the optometrist. The claim was rejected and the optometrist is in the process of handing me over to their attorneys. I have raised this issue via the app (chat function) and a lady phoned me back and said they would provide me with a solution. I never heard back from them. I raised this issue via email to *** but after 3 business days I have yet to receive a reply. How does this work when authorisation is obtained and then the claim just gets refused and not paid. This is not fair practice.

**** service of note
Your driver is a joke of note, I am 45 and he is obviously in his late twenties. I am standing in the rain and he is not even willing to climb out of the car. Sure he was scared he melts!

Technical support might as well not exist
RE: RE: DS-2CFSP4/4G-Case No.*** My 1st email: Good day, Where can I find the APN settings for this camera? The camera is also advertised to support FTP upload but there is also no settings to authenticate on an FTP server. Their Response 1: Kindly follow the below step-by-step guide to configure APN settings on your DS-2CFSP4/4G camera: How to Manually Enter APN Settings If the camera doesn't connect automatically, you must access its web interface for manual configuration. 1. Connect to the camera's local network. The camera might broadcast its own temporary Wi-Fi network (often named "MiFi" or starting with "HIKVISION_") which you can connect to with a default password like ***. Alternatively, if the camera is on a local wired network, you can connect your PC to the same network. 2. Access the web interface.Open a web browser on your connected device and enter the camera's IP address. A common default IP address for Hikvision cameras is 192.168.1.64 (or sometimes 192.0.0.64), but for 4G models when connected to its temporary Wi-Fi, the address is often 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1. 3. Log in. Use the default username admin and the password you created during initial activation (for newer models) or the older default 12345. 4. Navigate to Network Settings.Go to the Configurationmenu, then Network, and look for a section likeAdvanced Settings orAPN. 5. Enter details manually. • Select theManual option for APN configuration. • TapAdd New and enter the exact APN, username, and password provided by your network operator. • TapApply or Save to confirm the settings. The camera should then attempt to connect to the 4G network using the provided details. Check the device status to ensure it is online. My 2nd email: Good morning, Thank you for this but remember this is not a wifi camera nor does it come with a network port. I will however check if a wifi network is broadcasted. You also never answered my question regarding the ftp functionality that is advertised but nowhere to be found. Their Response 2: Kindly be advised, the FTP server authentication settings on the Hikvision DS-2CFSP4/4G camera are located within the network configuration menu of the camera's web interface. Accessing FTP Settings Log in to the camera's web interface: Access the camera's web GUI by entering its IP address into a web browser on a computer connected to the same network. You can find the IP address using a tool like the manufacturer's SADP software or by checking your router's connected devices list. 1. Navigate to the Configuration Menu: Once logged in with your credentials (username and password), find and select the Configuration tab or menu option. 2. Locate Network Settings: Within the Configuration menu, look for Network and click on it. 3. Find Advanced Settings: In the Network section, you should see an option for Advanced Settings. Click on this. 4. Enter the FTP Interface: The FTP settings interface will be an option within the Advanced Settings menu. Configuring Authentication In the FTP settings interface, you will find fields to input the necessary authentication information for your FTP server: • FTP address/server address: The IP address or domain name of your FTP server. • Port: The port number used by the FTP service (default is typically 21). • Username: The username required to log in to the FTP server. • Password: The corresponding password for the username. After entering these details, ensure you configure the Linkage Method in the camera's event settings (e.g., motion detection) to Upload to FTP for the camera to start sending data. If you still cannot locate these settings, it is recommended to: • Update the camera's firmware: Check for the latest firmware package on the official Hikvision website and update your device for the best user experience and features. • Consult the official manual: Refer to the detailed configuration steps in the most current user manual available on the Hikvision Global product support page. My last email: Hallo, this is extremely frustrating as it seems that you have absolutely no knowledge of the product. Again I will say this to you. This is a 4G Camera, it does not have a network port and it also does not emit a wifi hotspot. Don’t you understand this or are you replying from a script with keywords. I might as well be speaking to a wall. It is very obvious that there responses are scripted as per keywords or the person that was responding does not have a clue about this product.

Useless Bank!
I am so dissatisfied with your service, 5 years ago I changed the business account over to my name and your staff promised me that all notifications with regards to transactions will only be received by my telephone number. My fiancé at that stage was part of the business account and once again today she contacted me with a photo of my transactions on my business account going through to her. In other words your staff is not competent to do what they get paid for. So on average you make about a R1000 or more per month from me with regards to bank charges. This is finished now. I will find another bank to conduct my business through as I cannot and will not spend my hard earned money with you. Disgusted is the least I can say. Don't even bother reaching out as I have had enough!

FNB Pull your socks up. Your service at your FOREX desk is appauling.
I have a business account with FNB and I make a large amount of Forex payments. I have now added my assistant in Bangladesh to pay him. I have made the payment on the 26th of April and after the payment was initiated one of the forex consultants said I needed to change the BOP code. The lady then provided me with the email of Zaneene Paige in the forex department as she is the back office forex consultant as I needed to provide the ID and also work agreement to her so that she could clear the payment. All of this was send on the 29th and 30th of April 2024. I have been phoning everyday since the 29th of April to get this resolved and Zaneene Paige has just send me a email to state that if I don't rectify the documents they need I will be held liable for charges. Only last night the 1st of May 2024 did Zaneene Paige actually read all my emails. This morning the 2nd of May 2024 I phoned the Forex department again. Now a manager/supervisor will contact me back. Still not a single word. FNB I am absolutely appauled by your service in your Forex department as I am just being ignored.

Train your *********** Staff Members
I am utterly disgusted in your service FNB. I am a business client and for no reason I could not do any third party payments via a 3rd party like OZOW using my account to login. I was litterally for one and a half hours on the phone with your *********** staff members transferring me from one department to the other. Best of all without resolving the problem the call got dropped by your amazing telephone system. Thank you FNB you made my day. I could not pay my couriers and I can still not pay them as the problem is still not resolved. With your bank fees I am sure you will be covering my losses.

Need a Top-Notch Insurance Broker, you have found them!
Good morning Bernice Bothma, honestly when I started talking to you I realised that your service levels were top-notch as my Bangladeshi assistant would say. I just never realised that the entire company was like that. Diane is a super star. Wow and thank you! I am not saying this because my claim was approved, in fact I never even wanted to claim for my vehicle as I just thought the damage is so little and it almost polished out. The only problem would be the other party. Thank you for everything Bernice. Inscon Hawkins changed this entire situation into a breeze.
