Bought a pair of shoes, received it with the logo visibly upside down as it contains two words stacked on top of each other both in the same orientation but on the item received one of the words is completely upside down compared to the other and it is like this across the entire shoe. Have to return for a refund but being denied a refund on customs cost due to an inaccurate website description and an error not on my end but solely on the end of Temu
I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I was required to pay 30% upfront for a phone, and I was clearly told what my monthly instalments would be. The phone was never activated, the service was never activated, and the device arrived locked in a way that made it completely unusable — yet I was still expected to continue paying. After making the first instalment, my monthly amount suddenly increased to more than double what I was originally quoted. When I requested to cancel and return the device, I was told to send it back through Paxi at PEP, even though it was never delivered to PEP. I was then informed that I would be charged a return fee and would not be refunded any of the money I had already paid. Customer service has been unhelpful, dismissive, and seems more focused on delaying the process than resolving anything. This has been an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience, and I feel completely let down by how this entire situation has been handled.
Shouldn't even be getting a star This is a ****, ***** and daylight ******* Charged 30% up-front for a phone, then told your payments will be x amount every month Phone was never activated, service was never activated, phone has a lock on it set by foneyam to make the phone essentially a brick and unusable, yet I was paying and had paid the 30% Upon paying the first x amount, my monthly instalments jumped to more than 2 times the amount I was told I would be paying Now upon wanting to return the phone and cancel this *****ulent deal, I'm being told I can return it via PEP using paxi, never got the phone at PEP, and then they will cancel but they are going to charge me a fee and I won't get any of the money I paid to them already back Customer service is pathetic, rude, arrogant and all they do is try to buy time to push the length back of how long I have the phone *******, ***** and a ****
Customers call in on a daily basis to have issues resolved yet all that happens is the customer gets told a nice sweet story that isn't true, gets lied to so they will shut up and nothing ever gets investigated, escalated or resolved
What a sad company use are "pride" yourself upon principles, codes of conduct and process yet managers scare you into resignation and then when they don't get their way They then go further steps and unfairly dismiss you Take you to HR to have a meeting yet nothing was put on paper No meeting minutes or correspondence And then you also get taken to HR after hours when actual HR is not there and just any random person can sit in the HR office and say they HR No paperwork was done No correspondence was done Nothing was followed as per labour law and amazon so called policies and codes of conduct It's no wonder customers are constantly complaining And I am not the only person to be subdued to this, however I am not going to let this slide and allow business to come over to other countries to break laws and subjugate us to unfair business practices I'm sure this is not the way Jeff Bezos wants his company to be run but this will be going to all platforms of media both in South Africa and internationally
