Seems like the online service is going backwards... Bought a few items in store and online, and online service was always excellent. Latest order not so much. No feedback on delayed order unless I phone to ask for feedback, and then I am met by a bit of an attitude on the phone call. Once this last order is fulfilled I will probably buy elsewhere going forward.
Freshstop Citrusdal (N7) double charging clients for products in the shop, and there is no way to contact them. Published phone numbers do not even exist.
1 Star because I cannot choose -1. Delivery attempt days after the item should have been delivered, then I get a call from the delivery person, he is at an address in a very different suburb. Now I need to attempt to contact Skynet to see If I can get this fixed, and waste another day on top of that to wait for delivery. Contacting them is also like playing the lottery, you are very lucky to get it right, if at all.
Online purchasing just does not work, getting an error on checkout, ongoing for a few days now. Logged a query via email, no response. Attempted to log a query using their online chat function - the agent tells me to log a query to the same email address I already logged a query to and where I am not getting any response. Not going to bother any further, will just remove them from my list of places to do business with.
One star because I cannot rate zero. Incorrect, false photo fines where it is so clear the person, registration number and vehicle they claim committed the offence is not the vehicle in the image. Then being sent from pillar to post being accused of and apparently being found guilty by default, having to dispute, i.e., prove innocence in something not committed in the first place, the evidence of that being crystal clear and presented to paycity and JMPD.
Online upgrades, one star because I cannot select less... Did an online upgrade late in March, called to confirm upgrade and jumped through all the hoops. Received confirmation of the order on 25 March, called again to confirm. Was informed shipment will be after 1 April (that should have been a clue I guess). No further communication since then. Called today 2 April to follow up just to be told the order was cancelled, with no explanation or communication who cancelled it and why. Now sitting waiting for an explanation after being told 'we will phone you back immediately'. And of course now the item I wanted is Out of Stock! If this is how Vodacom treats clients who have been with them for more than 25 years, I shudder to think how new clients are treated. Or maybe new clients are treated better, I will not be surprised. Really poor, sadly the choices of mobile service providers in South Africa leaves little to be desired, but maybe time to see if there is better service elsewhere, and/or just cancel everything (4 contracts) and go pre-paid. No further communication since then
Not impressed at all. Passing responsibility I am paying for back to me to make arrangements I am used to insurance companies making. Time to get alternative options as soon as possible.
Pathetic when one still needs to visit a branch and sit in a queue to do basic things which other major banks have been doing online for 15+ years.
One star because I cannot rate them zero stars. Third day in a row with an outage, yesterday for a number of hours. Still waiting for the redundancy in the Blouberg/Melkbos backhaul as promised by the CEO in a letter a few years back, was it just a false promise? Sadly where I live there is no alternative, since Openserve provides a much more stable platform.
iStore Canal Walk, not great service, such a pity. Did an online 'click and collect' in an attempt to save time. On arrival at the store, after I received confirmation that the order is ready for collection, I waited more than 30 minutes to be assisted, and even then it only happened after I asked twice, and then assistance, probably because I dared ask, was not friendly. This is very disappointing, especially after I received excellent service at Table Bay Mall in 2024 on every occasion I went there. It would be great if Table Bay Mall can get the same stock availability as Canal Walk.
