My dad passed away in Jan 2025 and he had an investment with old mutual, with my mother being the beneficiary. after he passed we went to the branch to lodge a claim, the consultants at the branch did all the wrong things from completing the wrong forms, not completing vital information to missing information on the form. This was on going from Jan to April of us going in to complete a section that was not ticked. and mind you old mutual was not calling us, we would find out after making a follow up each time. I eventually logged a complaint and was advised that the payout would take 5-7 days, today is day nr 16 and no feedback on my follow ups has been responded to. From January to May we still dont have a way forward with old mutual. I have opted to log a complaint with the ombudsman. Worst service from customer facing people to the back office.
If i could give a rating less than 1 star i would. My sister was a member of this union and has since passed on. She has been sitting in cold storage because we have not been paid out for her funeral. I have been talking to a lady called Zanele from the organization and to date they are still going to have meeting to discuss our case and to date no feedback has been received still. When i call they tell me that she is not in the office
I have received the worst service from Mugg and Bean Springs mall. From walking into the place there was no host to take us to a table, my sister and I had to find ourselves a place to sit. And then after we managed to find a table, the lady serving us looked like she couldn't be bothered to be there. Anyway she comes after about 10 minutes to give us the menu and then the service went even further downhill from there. We ordered our drinks and food and ate. No one ever came to check in us, although we noticed that the white customers in the place where getting 5 star service, being checked on and waited on hand and foot. After we were done eating, we waited for almost 30 minutes to get the bill, we could not locate our waiter at this point but no one stepped up to assist in her absence. All in all, the service was just terrible compared to other Mugg and Bean restaurants.
I went to the game in Bel Air Shopping center last week Wednesday to buy two phones for my sons, when it came time to RICA the phones apparently the person who was supposed to do that was not available at the time. I was however advised to leave my details so this can be done on an afterwards basis. I left the shop with the understanding that the SIM Cards would be RICA'd. Yesterday being Monday I called the shop to advise that the RICA process had not been done, however the number listed on the website does not even work. I called the customer support line and managed to get the shop to eventually call me back. They promised that this issue would be sorted out, but as yet i am still waiting. I cannot leave my house because I have to isolate and at this point I am sitting with sim cards that are useless to me. All they kept saying is that i need to go back to the shop to have the issue that they caused fixed. So now I must be inconvenienced because someone did not do their job
I went to the Kriel branch today just before 10 and got a ticket number 6, there was no one to assist us at the front desk so we printed the ticket ourselves. We then went to sit down by the waiting area to wait for the people that were being serviced at that point in time. We sat there for over 45 minutes with no on interacting with us. Eventually these other 2 ladies come in with ticket nr, there to open a bank account as well and they were let in before us because they supposedly had an appointment. We eventually called one of the ladies who has been walking passed us the entire time we were there and only then (after 45 minutes) were we informed that we needed to book an appointment. There are no signs anywhere in the branch stating that we needed to book an appointment. The service/or lack there of that we received today has left much to be desired
I would like to acknowledge the TFG delivery service, my items were delivered well before time and it was exactly what i ordered. Such great service is refreshing
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the great service that the Kriel Spar provides. Even during this lockdown everything is going smoothly and the service is extremely efficient. i have never stood in a queue for more than 15 minutes no matter how long the queue is.........This place provides the best service ever
I understand that we under lockdown, but that is no excuse to not be responding on both mail and telephone. Ive spent 2 hours today trying to connect to an Old Mutual agent about my policy to no avail. I sent an email a few days ago and still no reponse. its like there is no one working at this company. THERE IS NO SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!
So I write another review about Planet54. I finally got my order after almost 2 weeks of waiting only to find that I did not receive my full order. There are some things missing. I tried to call the call centre via the number provided on the website and it goes straight to voicemail. Tried to to send an email and the TAT is supposed to be 24 to 48 hours to get feedback. A week later I'm still waiting. I have decided to take this matter up with the consumer protection commission on account of being unable to get any feedback from this company
The service at the Pep in Kriel shopping centre is always terrible. You will be standing in a queue for over 15 minutes with only 3 people ahead of you. There were 3 people standing by the tills all working from one till but the queue does not move. I tried to bring the bad service to the manager named Pumkin and her attitude left alot to be desired. Looks like when some of the staff dont feel like working then they dont have to. Really terrible service indeed
