I placed an order with order no 178476154 on 29/04/2025 and it was delivered on 06/05/2025. Unfortunately, the size 4 was a smaller size 4, even though my wife is wearing a size 4. I returned the order with reference no MRRN-OZNDM-YMN7, which was collected by Takealot on 07/05/2025. I havent recived any response from them yet and even when I log into my Takealot account, its not even updated yet. How long does it take for Takealot to update their system? I mean that by now the returned product should have been at their warehouse.
I ordered two quantities of one product on 30 September 2024 with order no #107653 but only one was delivered. I immediately inform them via email on the same day of delivery but I haven't received any response yet. I also called there office but didn't get any response. I paid for two but only received one.
*****ulent case no 047537 I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the ongoing issue of *****ulent withdrawals / payments from my cheque account. On 29 April 2024, over R80,000 was *****ulently withdrawn from my account. Despite repeated requests and a formal complaint, I have yet to receive a refund. The lack of resolution has caused me significant financial hardship. I have been unable to pay my bills and other essential expenses on time. The stress and anxiety this situation has caused me is immeasurable. I am deeply concerned that Standard Bank has not taken this matter seriously. It has been over a month since the withdrawals / payments occurred, and I have received very little communication from the bank regarding the investigation or a timeframe for reimbur*****t. This incident has severely eroded my trust in Standard Bank. I have been a loyal customer for many years, and I am appalled by the lack of support and accountability I have experienced. Furthermore, I believe it is imperative that other South Africans be made aware of this incident. *****ulent activities can happen to anyone, and it is essential that banks take proactive measures to protect their customers.
My bank account / profile was hacked on 29 April 2024 and money was transferred / paid out of my account. I wasn't aware of this because somehow I didn't receive any notifications. Around 15h00 I get ready to go to the shops and just check my account via my mobile app. Shockingly I saw that my account balance was just over R4500 and how was this possible because I received bonus. It's then I became aware that 4 or 5 different transactions, amount to more than R80 000 went off my account and funds was transferred to an other bank account to persons I don't even know. I immediately transfered the balance in my account to my Absa account and informed my local branch about it. The consultant at the local Standard bank branch was very helpful in opening a ***** case with the ***** department. The consultant at the ***** department informed me that they could trace that my funds were being transferred to a Capitec and a Capitec Business account. What was strange is that they found that the transactions were done from my mobile phone. I was really shocked because my phone was never out of my site and how was that possible. It might then be that my mobile phone was hacked. They gave me a case no and I went with the case no to SAPS to make an affidavit and mailed the necessary required documents to Standard Bank ***** department. On 30 April 2024 I received an email from the ***** department that they are awaiting response from the agency bank. Up to now I haven't received any new updates about any developments. I'm really concerned about the lack of communication because it seems like that Standard bank lack a lot in terms of responding to emails. I'm wavering my options taking my business to an other bank where I will be valued as a valuable customer. It also seems like Standard bank can't tell me whether I will get my funds back or what. Their system failed me.

I got a text message "Evotel Emergency Maintenance: Postmasburg- Please note, downtime can be expected at 14/06/2023, 00:01-05:00, due to work being done on the network. Still my line is down. Do I have to pay for services I don't use? Poor service
