Today I placed an order on. The Pick n Pay ASAP! app and received such good service. Then order was delivered time and the driver was soo nice. Really happy and satisfied with today's service received. Keep up the good work Pick n pay!
I submitted a uif claim on the 5/01/2026 and the claim was rejected on the 30/01/2026 without a clear reason why and I had to keep calling them to find all his out. I was then told to resubmit the claim at the beginning of February, this took 4 days to do because they kept saying they are having system issues and are not receiving emails. It has been over 25 days now and I am being told that no feedback has been received for my claim and they keep saying that they are escalating the matter. This is very sad and infuriating as I am unemployed amd need this money. This is very disappointing shame.
In the area where I live we had new electric meter boxes installed, no prior notification that this would be taking place on this day was received and a lot of people in my area were not aware and some were at work when this was being done, those that were not home had to struggle to get their meters replaced. The worst former was having the electric technicians just coming into my house with no explanation as to what they were there to do and why. They just asked for my meter number and went outside, I had to go after then to ask what was going on and even then no clear explanation was given. They advised that once the new meters are registered we would then receive back the electric units we had on the old meters but to this day this has not happened and a lot of the people have been struggling as they have had to buy more electricity as most, including myself had recently bought a big amount of electric units for the month. I again have had to keep calling the municipality to find out when and how we will be reimbursed for these units amd it was only yesterday where I was told they would be visiting the area this Thursday to attend to this. This has been a major inconvenience not just to me but to the whole area. Very disappointed.
This isn9ne of the worst services I have ever received, my order is late by almost an hour, no notification to advise and I have had to call them only to be told I can cancel the order and get a refund in 5 working days or get store credit. This is really awful as I placed the order in time so I can get the stuff before 2pm butn i am still sitting here writing this review without having received my order. Just WOW yhoooo!!!!
My order was delayed for over 30 min with no notification at all. I had to call Mr D 2 times to actually get my stuff deliverd!! No apologies we're given either. Very disappointed.
It is the second time I pay for overnight delivery and not get my items overnight!! The first time I paid for overnight delivery and only received the item after 2 days, which defeats the purpose of paying more to get items delivered quicker. This has happened again where I paid for overnight delivery as I am going out of town tonight and was supposed to receive my stuff yesterday, I got the notification that my parcel is out for delivery and would be delivered before 5pm but at 20 min past 4 I got an email saying delivery failed, with no explanation aa to why. I called their cpt call center and the first.person I spoke to placed me on hold and then dropped the call, I then had to call again and the second person couldn't give me a reason why my delivery is delayed but promised i will.get my parcel delivered today. I am currently waiting to see, really disappointed and highly inconvenienced by this.
They provide the most efficient service , whether you call or email they have always rep**** the same day and always resolved my queries. Keep up the good work.
- Never there when you need them, even if you call them you never get through. - The only email response you ever get is the automated one. -It has been over a week now since i have sent a query via e-mail because I was unable to get through. The only time they ever call you is to sell you stuff. This is literally the worst service ever
I placed an order on the 29th November 2025 and realized the have the wrong delivery address, call them right away and was promised it would be corrected. When I checked the order 2 days later it was still reflecting the wrong address and so I called them and another promise was made that this will be sorted out. I called again a day before delivery to ensure the address was corrected and was promised it was, to my surprise the next day my order was delivered to the wrong address. I called Makro once again as I had 2 more items awaiting delivery and wanted to ensure these go to the correct dress but I was hung up on and placed on a long hold with no assistance. I have since emailed and called Makro multiple times and today they promised that the 2 remaining items will surely be delivered to the correct address and something said I should call the courier to confirm this and as I suspect the courier confirmed that the item will be sent to the wrong address today. None of my emails, complaint and calls have been attended to and I have had to spend money to call them many times and to travel to where the items will be delivered. I will never ever buy anything from Makro and I suggest no one does.
The first time I used the spar2u app to order items was a bad experience, the driver went to the wrong address, called me and when I explained that he is in the wrong house but not far from mine he was rude and told me he is not coming to me and that I had to come to where he was. I had to walk and go to him in order to get my stuff. #BLACKFRIDAY
