My mother has been a client of ABSA Investment Management Services for quite a few years. AIMS later either combined or were taken over by Glacier. Last year my mother was diagnosed with AML Leukemia and given a short period to live. Medical bills was stacking up and we made the decision to sell her unit trusts. The completed forms and documents was sent in early in January. Soon after I received a request for her portfolio number. (remember they do have ID nrs etc). So I responded on the 19th of January with the portfolio nr. Then again another email asking the same thing! Which I rep**** to on the 23rd of January. I also sent another separate email to Glacier telling them what the portfolio nr is and to get their act together. Guess what? Again on the 28th of January another email saying the withdrawal is archived until they receive the portfolio number!! This is very annoying that someone that desperately needs her funds and busy dying has to suffer because of the incompetence of Glacier staff. Stay far away for any future investments!
Purchased a 2016 Honda HRV Headlight from this company. I explicitly told the guy, Solomon Obi, that I want the left side. I confirmed this by whatsapp as well. I made the payment and a few days later the light arrived. I delivered the light at my panelbeater. Week later the panelbeater phones me telling me that the light they sent was for the right. So I contacted Solomon from SUD Auto Spares. First he denied that I said the left hand side. After which I sent him a screenshot of the message that I have asked for the left. Then the story was he was waiting for his brother. He will contact me for the refund. Nothing happened. Various calls and messages with promises we will refund you and "I am waiting for my brother" excuses came to nothing. Later they just stopped replying to me. This is a company which "are very religious" supposedly but does this to clients. Very dishonest and would not recommend doing business with these ****** in any way. The wheel will turn for them. They mostly advertise on platforms like Gumtree.
2 Months ago one of my vehicles was badly damaged by a client of Discovery insure. I have sent all documents as requested by them. Thabiso Twala received my documents and refered the case to Ofentse Menyatso. I have emailed numerous times without any response from him. The phone nr supp**** only plays music non stop and no one at Discovery Insure is responding or even trying to repair my damaged car. Ive dealt with many insurance companies in the past but Discovery seems to be the worst of the lot.
Today I made 2 purchaces from Onedayonly. Both being immediately paid after confirming the order. I sent emails with order nrs directly from the Capitec website. Now for most this isnt too difficult. But for Onedayonly I got constant irritating emails telling me to make payment. Each time responding to them that payment was made go check your emails with reference nrs. I also sent customer care emails to stop harrasing me as I have made payment. Now I get an email from this circus telling me my order has been cancelled!! What a lot of clowns! Highly unproffesional and disorganised business.
I had a fixed deposit mature on the 30th of May. I sent instructions to have a portion of it paid out and the rest reinvested. Countles emails and complaints with replies "it will be in in the next 24 or 48hours" has come to nothing. Every time "it will be in today". They have sent an proof of payment that payment has been made on the 30th of May. Today is the 10th of June. And still have I not received my money or the reinvestment certificate.
I was waiting for a parcel from Security and More. Got the sms and email confirming delivery and pincode that needs to be given upon delivery. While sitting in the office I'm notified that "receiver not available" at 4pm. I've been on the premises since 8am till after 5pm. Gates open and 2 other people also there! Definitely "not available". Didn't get a phone call nothing. Clearly the driver wasn't even there as it is a Friday and he wants to get home early!
I ordered puppy food last week. Delivery for Monday at my business like usual. Last night I received a call the delivery guy is at the gate. Told him the instructions said business hours! Rescheduled for today. Again no delivery! What is so hard to understand business hours??
Today was very embarresing for me. I went to buy a car battery and when I wanted to pay my card was declined. I asked the shop to try again. Again declined. So very embarresed and confused I left the store. I logged onto my internet banking to discover my bank account is gone! So I phoned client care. The lady informed me there was an amount of R5400 paid into my account on the 17th of October 2022 from a client which was/is from a involved fraud case. How this has anything to do with me or my business I do not know!! Now Capitec froze my account! No phone call, no warning, just frozen! The lady from client care said I must go make an affidavit at the Police station and get a certified ID copy and take it to a Capitec branch, which I did. The person at the branch was rather helpfull, scanned my affidavit, ID and the contract I had from the person who paid the money into my account for the rental and sent it to the fraud division. He said it would take about 2 hours. Its now 4 hours later. I cannot pay my clients or any of my accounts! Who are now very annyoyed at me! Absolutely shocking! So if you sell any product or service and they suspect the person who paid you was involved in fraud or theft, you the innocent client of Capitec gets punished! Is costs me alot of time and money being away from work to try and sort this out. And for doing absolutely nothing wrong!
My son and I have a few fixed deposits and accounts with Bidvest Bank. To get any kind of service or replies from them is a nightmare. I have recently asked a very simple question of when my fixed deposits expire. There was a response listing the same fixed deposit twice instead of the 2 individual fixed deposits. I sent 3 follow up emails to a Jessica and still no response. Supposedly 3 working days to respond. Its now a week later. Its not the 1st time I am having service related issues with Bidvest Bank.
My issue is with the Pick n Pay Smart Shopper system. Like most of us know, if you throw in petrol at any BP you get Smart Shopper points. Well so we hope. If the "system isnt offline". The attendant says it will be added later. Also doesnt happen. The last 5 occasions I have bought petrol that totals about R6000. Card was swiped. Points never get added. Rand balance stay the same. I have twice emailed Pick n Pay with the attached slips showing my balance. And no response whatsoever!! The lady next to me at the BP pumps told me she had the same issue with Pick n Pay. This is not on from a major supermarket in SA.
