I went to the restaurant to buy the dagwood sandwich, I requested the egg to be sunnyside, and it came well done. I requested them to change it, it came again medium. There were flies in the restaurant , and I requested a tabard candle to chase them away. There is nothing they can do. What kind of ******* is that

I had a funeral policy with sanlam Sky. I reinstated it a few days down the line the deceased passed on. Sanlam is now rejecting the claim, saying I didn't confirm my signature, they said it is different from my ID. Since when sanlam is worried about signatures when someone is claiming. I confirmed that it was my signature, they dont want to pay. I have done a previous claim for my late husband and also claimed for a retirement annuity why now.

I have a bad experience with Old Mutual where I had taken a funeral cover for my sibling. When she passed on and I claimed,I discoverd that the date of 05/11/1985 was registerd as 05/05/1985 and they won't pay for the R16500 cover.Instead, they'll pay R6900 but is was not the policy holder error it's was done by their representative.
My vehicle was jammed, and two gadgets were ******. The gadgets belonged to my late husband, I don't have any proof of ownership since he was residing in Capetown. When I covered the gadgets proof of ownership was not requested or of purchase. During the claim stage they demanded proof otherwise they will not pay. However, the consultant offered an amount of R15 000 I escalated the matter and questioned how they arrived at the amount. They decided not to pay and in the policy document there is no explicit requirement for submission of proof of ownership under the circumstances described. The policy is currently active.
My Late husband had a funeral policy with one life but he wrote her sister as a beneficiary. It was a funeral policy, I buried my husband and I had to use my credit cards to top up. After the funeral I went through my husband's bank statements I picked up one life and phoned them to make a claim. I told them that I was the spouse, I had a letter of authority, executorship from the master of court and there is the Will and Testament but they failed me and paid my sister in law without considering and respecting my husband's wishes. Even after emphasizing that the Will and Testament overrides everything. They made a payout to my sister in law.
