Responded immediately to our query, arrived as scheduled, were professional and courteous. Pricing was market-related.
Although items were delivered within 3-4 hours as scheduled at least half the items were missing. There was also a problem with the invoice and verifying what was charged for. An attempt at contacting their call centre resulted in the agent promising to revert with answers but nothing. A call the next day resulted in a twenty-plus minute hold on the phone without making a connection. An email was answered promptly advising that they need another 24hrs to answer my query. All in all not too great.
Too terrible. Menu and wine list is lacking. The wine list is effectively nonexistent. Ribs were good, salad was good but burgers were at best average and the wrap was terrible. The milkshake was terrible. There is zero imagination applied and the basics are.. .basic Service was nonexistent. When a waiter did arrive they lacked any training and got order wrong. Zero personality. I doubt if they would last another 6 months...maybe take-out will sustain them.
They are just shocking. It took me 4 attempts of over 10mins to get through to their call centre. Although very polite they were of zero use. Although they offered to follow up, nothing happened. Every time you phone they are experiencing high call volumes. I presume there are lots and lots of unhappy people dealing with Takealot BUT surely by tracking call volumes you can work out that you need to increase your call-centre personnel numbers to give lip-service to their terrible service! Go figure!!!!
It is difficult to describe how appalling dealing with this particular vendor has been. The only service you receive is 'lip-service' and they only thing they seem capable of delivering are excuses!
What a fantastic experience. What a fantastic product!! I would recommend this firm based on my experience to anyone. Well done!
The end result was that the shed is to be removed and the funds to be reimbursed. The product is ill conceived, badly designed and the construction was shambolic - walls not plumb, cutouts skew, door warped, framing poor, holes in the roof and the walls acted like wobble boards. The owner was on-site for all of 30 mins during the day and I was left to deal with their erection team who were either not properly trained or not competent. They refused to address any of the issued raised during construction marking that everything would be right at the end - it wasn't I thought I was dealing with Rustic Timber but it seems they only act as a portal and I almost got the feeling that they were siding with their contractor despite having numerous photos showing the poor standard of workmanhip. An experience I wouldn't like to ever have again. Be warned
I'd like to give less than one star. I've spent an hour trying to find/access an email address to query a non-delivery issue without success. No phone numbers listed (although they advise that their call centre is no currently manned) and they refer you to a 'help form' which is non-existent. Just so very poor. Amazon please come to RSA!!!
Than you Frog Security. Even though unable to attend to a problem over lockdown they still took the time to talk me through a 'temporary fix' - service excellence
I accept that during the Covid lockdown things change but Takealot took it on themselves to cancel a delivery which contained essential items- i.e. sanitizer. They blamed the cancellation on Government policy which is incorrect. The last straw is that you cannot contact Takealot. Phone lines are down and I can't find an email address even though it tell you to email them. So poor!!!
