This is the last straw. Every month we send someone to Durban on business. This is a Company sending a Manager on a business trip. Almost EVERY month, there is an issue. The Manager of this branch will not accept the person we booked the car for, to use our Company Debit card to pay the deposit. The R5900 rental is paid, using our company credit card. But, the deposit is being secured with the company debit card....Nope says the manager. The drivers name has to be on the debit card???? But, they accepted the credit card payment for the hire, and the drivers name was not on that. But, the DEPOSIT has to be paid with that drivers Credit card. Since when does a company expect their driver to use their private credit or debit card to pay a deposit? It gets better:- since it is a debit card, and not a credit card...the deposit is now R10 000 and not R6000, if this was a credit card. Last month, they would not allow us to hire 2 vehicles from them. Our truck had to go in for a service, so the visiting manager had to hire a truck for our driver to drive...."nope" says an Arrogant Manager who thinks he is the "High and mighty", you cannot hire 2 vehicles at the same time. We then ask:- well, then what would you tell us if we arrived with a soccer team, and the company cannot fit all the players into one vehicle, would you expect the remaining players to walk? Stupidity has reached new levels here people. Arrogance has cost you our years of support...we are not hard up for options Woodford...look around you!!!! Go back to sleep...fold your hands a little...and poverty will rob you whilst you sleep. Desigen....learn some humility, and good business practices
Well, as if the country is not broken enough. MFC is now part of the licensing department. I paid my car off in 2023....they never sent my vehicle log book to me. I e-mail them twice and these rocket scientists will not send my log book. They then call me. A Siya Luthuli...to tell me that my vehicle license disc has expired 26 days ago....therefore they will not send me the log book in my name. It will be in MFCs name!!!! You know...the rocket scientists that paid for the car right? She is rude and very proud of herself. Not a problem Mr CEO. I have taken Nedbank to court before...and won my case...The Daily News wrote a great article on it. I will go back to small claims court...as I may loose out on the sale of my car....their Ceo can foot the bill again. FYI I app**** for vehicle finance for a 5th vehicle for my business...MFC said they cannot finance it. Cause "my business bank statements didn't look like that of a retail store" and because I was buying a car in Durban and I live in Cape Town"...does it get dummer?
I have been dealing with Vox for approximately 2 years now. I have always had good service, however, I have now had the pleasure of dealing with them for my Durban Warehouse and Ballito shop and I am honestly in awe. The professional manner inwhich this team is operating is virtually unheard of in SA. Geryn Hurd, Keyuran Perumal and Shaun Gopal have made VOX proud. Keyuran had a Teams meeting with me and it was brilliantly done, followed up with an e-mail of the points of the meeting and tasks that were to be completed with dates etc. Next morning, ahead of schedule, Shaun Gopal is on site, and in a flash, I have fiber! He had to wait patiently for my staff to arrive, his communication skills, his professional manner....all out the top drawer. I highly recommend them for outstanding service, value for money and good honest advice from Geryn Hurd. They leave their competitors, well, in the dust....Telkom (are they even still around)? Well done team, you're in a league of your own.
I had the miserable misfortune of signing a lease agreement with a two wicked people, the landlord Pantopolis Eleftheriou (Patric) and his wicked side-winder Theo Thomson who calls himself a Master Practitioner Real Estate (MPRE). The landlord has ducked the country as he is in all sorts of financial trouble. The landlord has retained over R43 000.00 of our deposit, he has tried to concoct all sorts of excuses as to why he is not refunding our deposit. He hiked the rental by 47% and then scratched his greedy head when i refused to enter into a new lease agreement. He breached his own lease agreement and hiked the rental anyway and then doubled the taxes on the warehouse. He then **** and said that i did not send him a notice to vacate, (when i sent it to 2 of his e-mail addresses). The agent pretended to be disgusted in the landlords behavoir, but then told the landlord that i did not give all the keys back, but this is exactly the same number of keys they gave me when i took occupation of the building. Beware of Arthur-Callie the bogus CC that this landlord uses for you to enter into a lease agreement with. Unit 18 Glenpark industrial, in Durban. You will never get your deposit back, you will always be accused of not paying for something, even when you send them the Proof Of Payments, they are ********s
Here's some good advice for anyone going to Zanzibar for a break: don't fly back FlySafair. Why? They are a cheap ass airline. After the spoils of flying to Zanzibar via Emirates, I am now having to fly home at 1:40AM.....(I have been in transit since 9pm from our Hotel Riu Jambo), to find that Flysafair has a cheap ass plane with non-reclining seats. 4 hours on a cheap ass aeroplane with only ******* junk food to buy. It's almost 2am in the morning, and you cannot avail a plane which is even remotely comfortable????? You're a disgrace...but what do You Kirby Gordon? With SAA, Comair, Mango and all the rest gone....you don't need to give a damn do you?
I have been buying from Takealot for years now. I spend an absolute fortune with them. This time I bought my mom and dad an outdoor patio set. What arrived was a slightly damaged table and 4 chairs. The wicker wrapping on the table was unraveling as was the case with one of the chairs. The second chair was rusted and filthy, it looked as if it had been standing in the rain for some time. I arranged for a return with Takealot. I was going away in business so I arranged a collection. My old man was confused when they arrived to take the whole set. He didn’t know they insist on taking the whole furniture set not just the damaged pieces. So they left without the furniture. We tried to call Takealot, however, customer services is of no concern to them, if it was, it would be easy to contact them. Us customers are not good enough to be heard. Eventually, somehow my daughter re-scheduled the collection. They collected, took the items away, and decided to refuse the return and replacement. Instead, they seem to have smashed into the stack of chairs with a car, and then dumped them back at my home. This is what Takealot has spiraled down to. Samkele, D. Chadley L and Uma O, you are all useless critters. I have mailed you over and over again, you have let your team down….unless of course, this in now the whole rotting Takealot ethos? MRRN-76JJZ-4QB6. That’s the order. I want the e-mail address of your CEO Mamongae Mahlare. I a, sure she can argue her case in the Small Claims Court.

It is no surprise to see that 92% of your ratings Moto Health are1 and 2 star, i bet if there was a 0 star that would be mostly what you get. This is by far the worst medical aid i have ever had the misery of having to deal with. Quite possibly as bad as having to deal with a Government department. My father is elderly and sadly with age comes health issues. But, even worse:- with a shocking medical aid company comes major heart problems. Moto Health will worsen your ailing heart and make you more and more depressed. Every time my father has to go to hospital, my mother and i know that we will suffer months of hell trying to get this horrid medical aid to pay the bills that they are supposed to pay. They will avoid paying the bills at every cost. They (Moto Health) tell us that the service providers have used the wrong ICD codes and billing codes and "we don't cover those procedures", (as if they are smarter than the doctors and hospital), and all these stupid doctors and hospitals dont know what codes to use. And the service providers say that the codes they have used are correct (and maybe they actually know what codes to use as the patient is theirs?) So the bills pile up, my and my mother and fathers blood pressure is pushed up by a bunch of liars and we get sick and need to go to hospital to rack up more bills that Moto Health dodge paying. Moto Health apparently managed to get an exemption from the council for medical schemes which exempts them from covering the costs of treatment for PMBs. Medical aids are required by law to provide all their members with a minimum level of mandatory cover, called Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs), which covers treatment for 26 of the most commonly occurring ailments and over 270 other conditions. SO NOW MOTO HEALTH IS ABOVE THE LAW. And when you sign up with Moto Health....you sign up for high blood pressure and possible cardiac arrest, with no medical cover.......which you actually are paying for. MY DAD HAS Congestive heart failure, and skin cancer it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY!!!
I am a business owner. I recently made the decision to switch banks. What I have effectively done is similar to this:- I have taken a Colt 45 and shot myself in both feet, at point blank range. The pain and frustration is much the same. The regret....unthinkable, and the reason I actually moved to Standard Bank was on the advice of my bookkeeper. It is clear that my bookkeeper hates me and by enticing me to move to Standard bank and have to contend with their hideous Business Online platform, would etch me just that much closer to a myocardial infarction or an intercranial hemmorage. Either way, I urge other business owners:- do not do it! Every time you get the urge to move to Std Bank, get yourself a plank (preferably with spikes of 5 inch nails sticking out of it) and beat yourself, stand in front of a mirror....you should see this beating coming each time you think of Standard bank. There ARE no good banks in SA (don't fool yourself), but try to find the one that is the "least of all evils", and that is not Std Bank. Only a self-loathing individual will make the move that I have
I have always gotten such fantastic, professional and speedy service from this company. Keep up the fantastic work
