Takealot has been deducting my account since December, I cancelled membership in January 2025 yet this keep deducting and when I call they promise to stop or an excuse after the other, I’m a student and this leaves my account on minus with bank charges that they won’t pay me back for. They keep changing the reference ever month, this is ridiculous and I’m sick of it. The membership was cancelled already yet they still take mon? For what good reason? They keep sending me from pillar to post, I want my money and the bank charges that always put me on minus, this is a **** honestly!!!!!!!!!
Horrible customer service, the ladies are not professional at all. Sent an overnight parcel on Thursday and paid for overnight delivery, the parcel apparently only left the shop on Friday. I called and asked them to fast track it as it was supposed to be somewhere on Monday, I was sent from pillar to post and they even hung up! 3 of them kept swapping the phone around and giving me different stories. Why am I paying for overnight if the parcel will take 3 days?? It’s even useless now because it was for a submission and the due date has expired. Waste of money and time!
No internet for the whole week been calling all morning and calls are unanswered!! I keep wasting airtime. You can’t even log on the app Emails are ignored, customer service is horrible Quick to take money but forever to attend to issues if they will. I just want my refund at this point and they can cancel their subscription! Can’t do anything pertaining work because of no internet!!! Been on hold for more than an hour
They disconnected our internet because they didn’t debit, we make a payment and no one is helping!! Been calling for the past 3 days and it keeps saying due to unforeseen circumstances they can’t pick up, their app doesn’t work and you need to fill a million forms. They must just refund us and cancel their service since we are not receiving it anyway

Rude FNB business banking consultant by the name of Shahida. My account is on minus as I’m waiting for invoices to be paid, I call to speak to her and she keeps hanging up and doesn’t bother calling back. I called with a private number which then went through and I’m asking her not to close my account as invoices will be settled into the account and she tells me if I pay now then it won’t be closed. FNB acts like we are running away with money and yet we have been putting lots of money in the accounts for us to be treated like ********s Now I’ll have to restart in all my books and deals !!! Worst service
FNB REFUSES TO REFUND ME MY LIFE COVER DEBITS, I DISPUTED THE FIRST PAYMENT ON APP AND RECEIVED NO CONFIRMATION OR ANYTHING, IT DEBITED AGAIN TODAY AND THEY ARE TELLING ME THERE IS NO REFUND YET THEY TOOK THE MONEY TODAY!!!! This just feels like a big **** !!! SO I JUST GAVE FNB MONEY FOR NO REASON???
Rude call centre agents, the system is offline everyday They promise to call back but never, they pick up and keep quiet? Honestly if they don’t want to serve the public why aren’t they they let go? I’m sure there are people really looking for work and ready to serve. App**** ages ago but no red and their website doesn’t even log in.
FNB digital banking is giving me different stories in adding a secondary user, problems with logging on and registering and now they are telling me you can’t add a secondary user that is a passport holder but on the page there’s an option to add a passport as a verification document, the other one is telling me I can use a passport and the other is telling me I can’t? Honestly if my accountant is a passport holder and they need access to my account then what must happen ? Why put the option if it’s not allowed?? Take long to respond or they don’t respond at all! I’ve called several times and it’s always going for an escalation, lack of product knowledge
No stable internet connection the whole of March, the consultants keep sending me from pillar to post both on WhatsApp and via email. They are always waiting for Vumatel to get feedback, they ask for pictures of the router and hardware every day and I send that to them but it’s the same thing, no one is even bothered. Customer service is really horrible and I’ve actually recommended this business to close friends not knowing that it’s not great! I have a whole thread on email and WhatsApp and nothing is ever resolved! Been issued countless tickets and they have all been closed without any positive feedback.
