My wife and I were truly let down by the service we received this past weekend at your spa. We had previously visited for her birthday and were impressed, not just by the treatment itself, but by the thoughtful touches that made the experience feel special. A simple cake with “Happy Birthday” written on it may seem small, but it meant a great deal to us. This time, we returned to celebrate my birthday, expecting the same level of care. Unfortunately, what we received felt impersonal. When our masseuses arrived, they stood in front of us and casually asked each other, “Which one do you want?” A comment that felt shockingly unprofessional and dismissive. We chose your spa for its reputation and ambiance, but this interaction made us feel like we’d walked into a budget facility. We’re deeply disappointed and felt it ruined my special day.

What we thought would be a pleasant and memorable milestone turned out to be a horrible nightmare. After being married for 10 years, my wife and I finally managed to purchase our first brand new car. However, our joy was short-lived when the car started having problems just 5 days after we took delivery. Upon noticing the issue, I promptly took the car in for repairs. Shockingly, I was told to return the following day, even though the indicator lights wouldn’t switch off, making the car ******* to drive. With no space available for my car, I had no choice but to drive it back home. Later that day, I contacted Barons Cape Town again, concerned about the battery draining due to the indicator lights staying on. I was reassured that the battery wouldn’t run down and advised to bring the car in the next day. Predictably, the next morning, my battery was flat. I had to borrow booster cables from my neighbor to bring the car in. I expressed my frustration to the new car sales manager, Elizma, requesting a replacement vehicle instead of the defective one I was sold. Initially, Elizma seemed sympathetic, assuring me I could keep the courtesy car until mine was fixed. Despite this, I made it clear that nothing would change my negative perception of my experience with Barons Cape Town. Days passed without any communication. When I eventually called Elizma, she misrepresented my words, claiming I didn’t want to deal with her and that she didn’t want to speak to me. It is shocking that a manager would refuse to communicate with a customer. Ten days later, I got my car back, but it hadn't even been cleaned. Elizma needs to be removed from her position. She has no respect for customers or any customer service abilities.
My wife and I were excited to celebrate our 10-year anniversary at the Arabella Hotel, but the experience turned out to be shocking and deeply disappointing. Despite requesting a room upgrade both when booking and checking in, our special occasion was completely ignored. Our stay started poorly, but it worsened when hotel staff walked into our room unannounced while we were watching TV, claiming they forgot to bring us glasses we never requested. The following morning, the cleaning staff entered our room again without notice. We have stayed in many hotels locally and abroad, but this has never happened before. After checking out, the manager called—not to apologize—but to ask if we could describe the two ladies who entered our room. This lack of accountability and concern for guest privacy was unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel and will be sure to share our horrible experience with family and friends.
My wife and i will never return. We had such a horrible experience at there restaurant. We chose to go to the hotel this past Saturday for breakfast. Everything went well until we got our bill. We ordered a chease sandwich ( 2 slices of bread) and was charged R185 for the bread alone. When we asked Colin how is this possible, he said he charged us extra as a cheese sandwich is not on there menu. How pathetic is that!!!!! Nobody warned us and Colin said we just have to pay and its not his problem. Horrible attitude with absolutely no customer service. I will never return and will definitely share my experience with everyone i know.
My booking for 6 people was cancelled due to bad weather 1 day before our arrival via sms, not even a phone call. Emma was completely useless to deal with. When my refund came they took a R95 for a admin fee. This is pathetic. How can i be charged a admin fee if i did not cancel. I will never choose you angain and will certainly tell everyone i know to never book at Goudini Spa.
Please do not use Canal Walk (CINDY) in there foreign exchange department. She is completely useless and pushes blame on everything else but herself.
Hi. We are celebrating out 8th wedding anniversary! Thinking surprising my wife with a bunch of flowers is a great idea. I spent R889 for flowers only to receive a bunch of flower the size of my hand. Not to mention the roses stale brown edges with completely dry stems. Then to top it off the driver was late as he assured me he will be by my wifes office latest 4pm. We ended up waiting for a hour in the car for him to arrive. How pathetic is that? YOU COMPLETELY RUINED MY ANNIVERSARY!!!! I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICES AGAIN AND WILL DEFINITELY POST MY STORY ON EVERY MEDIA PLATFORM POSSIBLE!!!!
I had a horrible experience at Nandos Cavendish. Afer ordering and waiting for my food. I was told to get up off my seat and move so that someone else can sit on my seat in an extremely rude manner for no reason at all. The manager GRACE IS RACIST AND SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!! Pathethic NONDOS
I have received horrible service from your Cavendish Square Cape Town South Africa store. I called them wanting to purchase a foreign currency. Consultant SHARRON had horrible telephone manners, telling me she's busy now and she already told me the currency needs to be ordered. Then says she will call me back and never did. I dont know how Sharron works in a customer service industry. She is the very reason you lost a customer. Pathetic!!!
